Back on Alnisis Hill, a month after.

3rd POV

The view opens on Eastwood. Sleeping peacefully in his bed. Though peacefully isn't the right word to describe it. He was having another nightmare. Back in the accursed city out in Utah. Many friends died, many of his countrymen had died. As the sound of gun fire can be heard with every twitch, a small creek noise was heard causing Eastwood to open his eyes wide in shock. He looked around, finding himself in his barracks. A few soldiers took noticed to his sporadic look, but ultimately let the man be. Eastwood looked around the room before looking down at his watch. It was almost 17:00 hours. Nearly dawn. With a small sigh, he had gotten out of bed.

"Today's the day I suppose." Eastwood mutters as he place on a pair of jeans, and his hat. He left the barracks and walked out into the early morning base of Alnus.

The place has changed drastically. What was once a refugee camp has become a bustling settlement, similar in nature to a frontier's town. Within these steel walls were multiple adobe houses, and firm wood houses. Since the capture of Italica trade between the locals living here has boomed. Trade for dragon scales had open business talks with local merchants who were willing to buy anything remotely American. After some negotiation, simple things like cotton clothes, spices, and various liquor were bought in droves. Brandy in particular was a favorit among merchants selling to the upper and nobility class. Along with the mostly les e faire economics, this became a town of opportunities. Many people of various backgrounds came here for a better life. Humans, and Demi humans alike walked as equals for the first time in history. Course not everything was perfect, but that was to be expected. As Eastwood walked towards the Bath house a family of dwarf's came by.

"Ah Sir Eastwood. Heading to the bath house again I see." The dwarf called out as he tipped the overpriced Stetson he bought from the store.

"That I am, Mr. Oakbeard." Eastwood said as he tipped his hat in return. "You done with your shift?"

"Yep, though I don't know what to do with my free time. Suppose that Mechanical Bull down at the Saloon can prove some entertainment." The Dwarf by the name of Oakbeard remarks.

"Heh, sorry. Can't help you there. Have a good weekend." Eastwood said before tipping his hat to the Mrs. Oakbeard and the little one as well.

Dwarfs were an interesting group who came through Alnus. While they were excellent Blacksmiths and minors, the place had little need for either. For the most part they worked in construction. Which was pretty boring to them. So, they spend most of there time in the Saloon getting drunk. Brawls became a regular occurrence there but after a few games like darts, poker, and the Mechanical Bull was introduced did the number of drunken brawls subsided. Recently Timber Rattler Company out of Arkansas won the rights to sell there wears in Alnus. Under the condition they were to be made in this ever-growing city. Dwarfs, are now fighting each other for the chance to forge James Bowie's impressive knife. As Eastwood continued, he overheard something down an alley way. Looking to the side he noticed a scantily dressed four armed women being pushed around by an overeager elf.

"You bitch. I told you to keep quiet. Want me to fuck you raw while your unconscious slut?" The elf hissed in anger.

"B-But y-you d-didn't p-pay." The girl whispered in fear. If this were any other circumstance she would have killed him, however she had just arrived. And she would not risk being kicked from Alnus. To which this elf seemed to using.

"I ain't going to pay shit if you keep on bitching. Now get down on all six and suck my co-BWAMM." Before the elf could even finish, Eastwood had smashed a nearby clay pot against the back of the elf's head.

"Huh, an elf this time. Wonder if the next will be one of them scaley folk." Eastwood remarks before turning to the four-armed women.

"You alright Ms?" Eastwood asked.

"Um… no… I don't want any trouble." The women remark nervously.

"And you won't get any from me." Eastwood remarks before hearing the elf groan. As he lifts his head up, Eastwood gave a swift kick to the back of his head. Knocking him out… again. With a bit of wit Eastwood continued. "Though he will get some from me. Regardless I couldn't help but noticed that you request payment for that."

"… I … It's all I know. But all the same, if you want to… you have to pay me up front." The women remarked believing Eastwood as a potential client.

"Sorry, I'm married." Eastwood remarks showing his ring. "Just was going to tell you that kind of prostitution is illegal here in Alnus."

The girl went quiet. She had no other skills other then moaning. Before she could beg the stranger not to tell the men in Khaki's when Eastwood spoke up. "If you are the desperate, head on down to the red light district, five blocks that way. Madam Aenea or Madam Ixora are always looking for new hands… metaphorically. She will treat you right and help you move on to a better job than prostitution."

The women was silent. She thought he said prostitution is illegal. Then she recalled him remarking 'that kind'. She guessed that there were rules of some sort. Feeling slightly embarrassed she stepped over the unconscious elf and made her way down. She then gave a small nod to Eastwood in thanks before quickly making her way to this supposed red light district.

When the sentiment received new arrivals the first problems that began was how a few of the women began selling themselves on the side. While Prostitution was looked down upon, it was something that most girls only knew how to do. So as a compromise, a few brothels were built. The girls will have a safe place to work, but they must use protection and be taught a skill outside of prostitution. Suffice to say that this program has worked wonderfully, as a huge portion have learn skills outside the bedroom. So after dragging the unconscious elf out of the alleyway, and flagging down a nearby MP patrol Eastwood continued on his way. Finally, he made it to the showers. The bath house proved to be quite popular in the small settlement. In the capital the bath houses were reserved for nobles and royalty alike. Majority of the public rarely bath and when they do it's in rivers. The Sewers if they lived in the city. So it wasn't a surprise how popular a free nobility grade bath was. Eastwood entered and gotten into a shower. As he scrubbed his hair with the shampoo a familiar voice called out to him.

"Lieutenant." Hathale greeted as he occupied the shower next to Eastwood.

"Corporal." Eastwood replies as he washed his hair.

"So, today is the day we go back." Hathale remarks.

"Yep, should be exciting." Eastwood replies as he adjusts the tempter. "Speaking of which do you know any good restaurants in town?"

"Hmm, heard of this ramen shop that opened up in Midtown, a month back I think." Hathale remarks.

"Hmm, been awhile. Though to be fair, nothing can beat my friend's wife's cooking." Eastwood said with a found smile about his time in Japan.

"I'm sure, but I have to ask. Who will you bring along for the convention sir?" Hathale asked.

"Hmm, well for obvious reasons we will bring Lelei. She is the only one who knows how to speak English fluently, as well as a witness to the Coda Village evacuation." Eastwood remarks.

"Hmm, the brass seemed upset about it." Hathale states from the various comments he overheard.

"Yeah, some hotshot politician is making claims that I failed them. (Sigh) Politics in a nutshell." Eastwood said as he shakes his head, before continuing. "Along with Lelei I was thinking we could ask Tuka as well. She is another survivor."

Hathale gave a nod in agreement before something catching his eye. Someone by the window. He waited for a few moments before returning back to Eastwood. "Alright, anyone else that we should bring?"

"Yeah, had the brass send out a letter to Myui. Asking if she like to act as witness to the treatment of Italica." Eastwood answers.

"Really? Why her if I may ask?" Hathale asked only to catch another glimpse of something by the window.

"Well she's the defective leader of Italica. She has worked with the people and the American soldiers stationed there. So her words would carry more weight." Eastwood remarks before remembering something. "I also stated we can accumulate a few to come with us. The more the marrier, I suppose."

"Yeah… anyone else?" Hathale asked as he quietly made his way to the window.

"Um… no, that's about it." Eastwood remarks as he looked at Hathale with a confused look.

"You sure?" Hathale said as a black bow appears over by the window.

"Um yeah… oh right. O'Harra should be on leave for a few weeks. Maybe we should ask her to come along. I think she has family out in Maryland." Eastwood said as he snapped his fingers. After saying that, a low his can be heard from the window. Eastwood looked over at Hathale who gave a nod. The two went silent before Hathale reaches out and pulled the stranger inside with a loud eep. It was Rory.

"The hell you think your doing?" Eastwood snapped gaining the attention of everyone in the shower. "Were you listening to our conversation!?"

"What? No, of course not!" Rory lied.

"So… your peeping on us?" Hathale asked with a stern look as he covered his privates.

Rory opened her mouth but then closed it. Shamefully she looked down, before quickly looking up again. She knew how this looks and embarrassed she remarks. "Ok… I was listening. B-But why don't you invite me?!"

"Short temper, big blade, and you're the apostle of a war god. You're just an accident waiting to happen." Eastwood explains.

"What if I promise not to cause a scene. I swear upon Emroy Himself." Rory vowed.

"Again, a war god." Eastwood stated.

"PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS!" Rory begged with puppy dog eyes. While this may have worked on anyone who didn't know she was and Apostle, it didn't work for Eastwood.

"(Sigh) Kid, it ain't up to me. It's up to General White. I just make the recommendations." Eastwood stated as he pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"Oh… can you make a recommendation?" Rory asked, earning an annoyed look from Eastwood. After a cold stare she replies. "… Fair enough. Guess I'll just go out the way I came."

Rory exits out the way she came, like a puppy with its tails behind her legs. After a few moments the bath house returned to its normalcy, Eastwood and Hathale finished their showers before heading back to get prepared for the venture to Washington.

By the entrance to Alnus village, roughly around the same time.

Near the entrance to the Village, arrived a handful of strangers. All wearing attires marking them of nobility. There journey here was long, but worth it. At the head of these tired noble knights was Princess Pina Co Lada. She had arrived with a few of her knights to negotiate for the return of her beloved Rose Order Knights. She was hesitant to come here but if she wishes to rescue her league of knights, she must enter the Lions Den. Admittedly, what she came across was not what she expected. There was much to behold in fear and wonder. Everything was foreign to these soldiers. The sights, the sounds, the smells. It was interesting, and terrifying.

"P-Princess… are you sure it would be wise not to have a militia on standby? Or sent spy's ahead?" Hamilton asked nervously as she leans away from a cart carrying a group of children of various species. All dressed in clothes she didn't even recognize.

"N-No, I tried to outsmart them before. And every time it ended in disaster. Best we follow along for now." Pina replies as she looks around cautiously. She just entered the gates unchallenged or halted. She knew very well that they can kill from a great distance, so they might have watched her and her soldiers march up the hill. Exposed and easy to pick off. Thank all the gods she had listened to Sir Grey or this might have been another bloodbath.

"It's good that you have learned you lessen princess." Sir Grey remarks before eyeing a few stands smoking a selected group of meats, all with mouthwatering sweat aroma's emerging from it. He had to make a note to stop by for a late breakfast… maybe an extremely early lunch.

"(Sigh) Sadly so… What we had witness… pains me to say… but we can't win through normal means." Pina said with a horrified and despair look on her face.

She recalls how Eastwood saved Myui from her own. How he could kill six men in a blink of an eye. Those cold staring eyes. Every time she thought about him those cold eyes would follow her. Course her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a helicopter, flying high above her. Memory of those flying devils fill her with nothing but horror. Recalling the destruction, it can rain down upon. That was all put aside when she reached the only other guarded place in the city. A huge adobe building, with multiple Ameri-cans patrolling it. With a hesitant sigh she moved to the gate. She was instructed to follow, leaving her hoarse and half her guards. After walking through the strange halls she came to a small room with two fine leather couches and a table. After a few moments the doors open and two men walked in as well as a familiar face.

"Hmm, so this must be the princess Eastwood mentioned." One man said as he walked on over to the opposite couch to Pina and Sir Grey.

"Yes, there here to discuss the return of the Rose order knights." Lelei answers.

"Oh, well this will be fun. (Sigh) And for a moment I thought I was going to be relieved of duty." The other man remarks.

Pina couldn't understand what they were saying but it didn't matter. They were done talking, and Lela spoke to her. "Hello again Princess Pina Co Lado, Sir Grey. You are in the presence of General Isaac D White, leader of the American Expeditionary force, and Five star General Alexander Patch."

"Princes Pina… I'd say it is an honor but seeing we are still at war. I think we should make it quick." General Alexander replies before Lelei translates what he said.

"That is fair General. I just wish for the return of my knights." Prince Pina remarks before motioning to Sir Grey. He then presented a box filled with Sinku and Suwani. Pina then replies. "I believe this will suffice for the release of those who are imprisoned here."

Lelei then translate what she said to the generals who gave a confused look. General White speaks first with a perplex look on his face. "I'm sorry your majesty. But what is this?"

"Ransome." Pina replies after Lelei translates. "It is custom for those to pay ransom for the safe return of soldiers."

"Perhaps here, but that's not how we deal in prisoners exchange." General Patch replies as he cross his arms.

"I see… then… what must I do, to have them returned?" Pina struggled to ask. If wealth would not suffice then humiliation would be the next thing. She dreads the thought of bending over for these two savages.

The two men looked at each other before talking. After a few moments they turned to her. General White lead the conversation as General Patch made a phone call from the phone on the coffee table. "Princess, there is a way but I must ask you. Why are we at war?"

After Lelei translates Pina gave a small chuff in response. "Of course, I know general… you began your savage attack upon our land. The Empire sent it's mighty force to aid with the other kingdoms to rid your armies. Clearly failed. Now rumors have begun about your raids upon our lands."

"… Um, no. That's not what happened. At all." General White said as he gave a perplex look. Wondering what kind of propaganda have they been feeding them. Just then Ms. Blanch walked in, in her hand was a black book. She placed it down before walking back.

"See, what happened Princess is that, 'gate' as you call it, opened up in our capital. Sacramento. Your people, pacifically lead by Count Formal lead an assault that claim the lives of many citizens, some not even Americans but tourist or representatives of other nations. But the true horror came when we discovered something. You didn't just attack unarmed civilians, but kidnapped them to be sold as slaves." General Patch explain, barley holding back his distain for the crimes that the empire had committed. He took a moment to hold his fiery anger before grabbing the book and flipping it open. Inside was a list of names. Every last one, written in the empire's language. "We will return your knights, even give a few who weren't trouble makers during the month. However, if you want the rest back then return our citizens back. Every last one, in healthy condition."

Pina read the list of names, none of them sound like any normal name of the empire. Course it could be a ploy for her to bring innocents to them. But slaves? Slaves like this won't be easy to get, or find. She decides to humor these savage's version of the story, least till she's away. She then looks up at the two.

"I see… It will be difficult to find these specifically slaves, but if that is what it will cost to free my Rose Order Knights. Then so be it." Pina said as Lelai translates. Before she could finish, Pina adds. "Just know generals. I can't promise that they will be alive."

"Then bring their corpses." General White stated blankly. "Dead or alive we want them back."

"I see." Pina remarks as she looks back at the list. She will give these savages one thing. They are devoted to protecting their own. She then grabbed the book and the four stood up. "I believe you mention releasing a handful of my knights?"

"We will, though there were a few who caused trouble. Multiple attempts at breaking out. Forging makeshift weapons. One tried to start a riot on multiple occasions. So we will give you the ten who didn't do anything." General Patch said before motioning to Ms. Blanch to take them to the prisoners.

"Ten? That seems hardly anything." Pina said hoping that she would at least walk away with a few more or at least get the choice to pick them.

"It's tempted to give you more simply because they ain't worth the effort. Though from what we understand, pride is pushing these knights. So it's best that they learn what happens when you go in with nothing but thoughts of grandeur." General White states, thinking about the disastrous failure on the northern front.

Pina let's out a sigh. She for once didn't let her Imperial Pride get in the way and it turned out for the best. She thanked the Generals and was escorted out by Ms. Blanch. The women she despises and respected the most. She ventured out of the compound, rejoining with Hamilton and the rest of her knights. They walked through the busy streets, gaining very little attention. This proved a mix blessing to her, she was use to peasants bowing before her. Least those who didn't gave her a cold stare. So seeing that nobody knew her or pay her very little attention, it was refreshing… and annoying. After walking through the city they came to a building made of steal and adobe. Upon entering they were force to relieve themselves of all weapons. Upon entering they walked by a number of holding cells. Most were empty with exception of a few, those who were in here were more well mannered then the prisons out in the capital. It wasn't till they arrive at the end did she find her soldiers. They were all screaming profanity and insulting the guards. Some were force to wear white jackets that held there arms in place. As they walked along, Ms. Blanch spoke up.

"The girls in the straight jackets. They have been nothing but trouble. If they had been patient like the ten at the end of the hall, then we wouldn't had to hog tie them down." Ms. Blanch explains, the last part she spoke particularly loudly to try and get it through there heads. Course that backfired.

The immediately began screaming louder about how the empire will win, how there children will be sold into slavery, women raped to madness, and that the savage Ameri-cans will be rendered to nothing but a foot note in history. This of course was ignored. After walking through these angry cries the group came to a small room. It looked like a cafeteria. There ten people in strange blue and tan clothes. They all had thin chains attached to a belt that limited their movement, but not enough to be uncomfortable. Princess scanned the room, sadly finding that none were her close friends, till she heard a voice.

"P-Princes?" A voice called out from the side. Pina turned and to her shock and joy it was Sir Pancahe of clan Kalgi. Her hair was a mess and she looked exhausted. Pina quickly racing to her, Pina wraps her hand around her friend.

"Panchae, by the gods what happened to you?" Pina asked.

"I… me and Bozes. When we first got here. We tried to escape, started a riot. It was admittedly a failure." Pancahe explains as a chibi flashback showed the reader she and Bozes tried to take a hostage, with a spork. For obvious reasons, this failed. "We were sent to a place called Isolation. I was alone, in a small dim room for an entire day, but it felt like weeks. After I was release I was tasked with basic clean up jobs. There weren't that hard but the idea that I, a daughter of Baron Kalgi scrubbing the Privy chambers. The dishonor I suffered… I think I'd rather be sold into slavery."

Pina gave a small chuckle as she held her friend closely. She had seen what the empire do to prisoners. From the look of it, she is just shaken up. Something that seems mediocre in comparison to what the empire did. After a moment she let go of her friend.

"Don't worry Sir Kalgi. Your sentence here has come to an end." Princes Pina said trying to comfort her.

"I… I am in your dept Princess. What ever you pay for our release I will pay back in tenfold." Pancahe pledge.

"No need, they are releasing you because you caused very little trouble." Pina said with a smile.

"Another blow to my honor. Do these Ameri-can Savages intent to kill me with shame?" Pancahe said with her head held down. She then paused as she realized something. "But princess. If I am to be release for being a dominated prisoner, then what of the others who showed spirit?"

"Those… who cause trouble for these Ameri-cans… there freedom lies in what we do next." Pina said with a sad look as she looks down at the black book of names.

"Then I shall aid you in the liberation of our comrades." Pancahe pledge.

Pina gave a nod before approached by Ms. Blanch. She presented her with papers for her to sign. She was given amnesty to move about the town with her soldiers, however upon leaving the town she will be treated as a hostile force unless permitted by Countess Myui to visit. Weapons and armor were return to her ten knights, and before she left, she gave a pledge to liberate them. Simply wait for her and don't cause any unnecessary violence. Some took this to heart, the rest… well, they thought it be best that they conduct their herassment with better stealth tactics. They soon left, to which Pina used the coins she collected for what would pay off a ransom on a late breakfast. From what she was told, the food was mediocre if anything. They walked around till they found a local restaurant referred to as a café. Admittedly the food here was from the other side so there was some hesitation in there choice of food. Navajo Fried bread, Mexican Breakfast Salad, Donuts, and various forms of meals called, a sandwich. In a matter of moments Pina's knights and friends were eating these strange pastries with great satisfaction and delight.

"Hmm, if everyone knew about this. Hmm, then maybe there wouldn't be so many riots." One knight said as he munched into his Navajo fried bread that was drenched in powder sugar.

"Hmm, agree. Actually, forget the prison. This is something I couldn't get in the capital." Another knight remarks as he bit into her French dip sandwich.

"Hmm. Worth being prisoner. Hell, if I have to do it again I'd have no complaints what so ever." Another said with a smile on his face as he ate a chocolate covered Donut.

As the knights all agreed on how delicious the meal is, Pina watches on with a small smile on her face. She always imagine that one day her soldiers would be hailed as war hero's by now. But after a month away from them, she was happy to see there smiling fa… MYUI! Her thoughts were quickly cut off from her fellow knights when she saw Countess Myui Formal walking down the road, along with a few of her maids. Pina quickly left behind her salad, but not before grabbing sir Grey before he could bite into his donut.

"Countess Myui!" Pina called out as she races up to her. This gained Myui's attention.

"Oh, Princess Pina. How pleasant to see you here." Myui said with a smile.

"Same… um, if I may ask, why are you here?" Pina asked more concern for the girls safety.

"Oh, I was asked to come here. So that I may travel to the other side." Myui said with a happy smile. "I'll see the land of America with my own eyes. How exciting."

As exciting as it was for her, it was not so much for Pina. In fact if anything this was horrifying. She could be executed, sold into slavery, or worst. All while the people of Italica remain oblivious, maybe having a puppet regime instated. Without thinking she mutters loudly; "NO!"

Upon realizing what she done she quickly clears her throat and remarks. "Um eh hum, no. No Countess Formal, it sounds dangerous."

"Maybe but my maids will protect me." Myui said pointing to both Persia and another warrior bunny maid by the name of Delilah. "Along with that I will be traveling with the same man who saved me and Italica."

"Oh, who is this man?" Pina asked, only to get an answer from a shadow over her. She turns around and standing behind her was none other then the man who stole the Italica. Or how they describe it, protected it. Behind her was none other than, Sir Eastwood.

"Eastwood." Pina said with a dirty stare.

"Princess." Eastwood replied with equal disregard.

The two stared at each other. Eastwood giving her his infamous dead eye glance, and Pina hoping that the heat would roast him alive in the strange outfit he is wearing. Not the same battle fatigues she first met him in, but rather something formal if she had to describe. Best suited for a colder climate. The old man must be sweating buckets in it. After a few moments of staring each other down Myui speaks up.

"Well… I think it's best that we leave. Till we meet again Princess." Myui said before dragging Eastwood along. But before the two could head for the gate they are stopped by Pina.

"I'm sorry Countess Formal, but I can let you go with that man." Pina said as she blocked there way.

"It's not your choice Princess Pina. I'm still going." Myui said with a straight face.

"Then… will you allow me and sir Grey to accompany you, as extra security in those… savage lands." Pina said causing a vain to twitch in Eastwood forehead. Before either could retort however, a familiar voice came from the side.

"Actually, that ain't such a bad idea." Ms. Blanch said as she came from the side with a hired W.A.C Warrior Bunny girl.

"You got to be kidding, me ma'am." Eastwood said with a blank stare.

"Ms. Blanch… have you been following me?" Pina asked with an annoyed look on her face.

"Hardly, it's a small-town Princess. I was simply taking Ms. Lepus to Brunch. Though it's hard not to overhear an argument you two are having." Ms. Blanch explains as she points out that everyone has eyes on them. Much to Pina's embarrassment. Ms. Blanch then turned to Eastwood before pointing to him. "Now lieutenant Eastwood. She is the daughter of the emperor. The same man whose orders has started this war. If we can get the message through the princess head that we didn't start this thing, it might help end this war through more diplomatic means."

Eastwood opens his mouth to complain but held his tongue. As annoying he found Pina to be, he would prefer it that the war ends. So with a sigh he relented. "(Sigh), Fine. But get general White to sign off on this."

"Gladly." Ms. Blanch said before turning to Lepus. "Auxiliary second-class Lepus, do you mind running this recent update to the generals. I promise to make it up to you."

"Certainly, Ma'am." Auxiliary second-class Lepus said with a salute before heading to the main base to inform the generals of what had transpire. Ms. Blanch then turned to Pina and sir Grey.

"Before you are allowed across our boarder, we should get you two prepared. And a basic understanding set." Ms. Blanch said as she eyes Pina's and Greys swords.

"We will not cause any trouble if that's what your looking for Ms. Blanch." Pina vowed.

"Good, however there are some other things, take for instant your clothes. It ain't suited over there." Ms. Blanch pointed out. Before Pina could ask what's wrong with her normal attire, Ms. Blanch pulled her along with Sir Grey. They headed off, getting ready to head on over to the other side. Leaving Eastwood with Myui.

"(Sigh) And when my job can't get any more difficult." Eastwood mutters to himself.

Ten minutes later, baking in the sun

Eastwood and his subordinates stood by the entrance to the gate. A small wall with heavily mounted defenses were set to prevent anyone unrestricted from entering. While he had clearance he still had to wait for the others. Least he was used to the heat. Myui and the two maids however were sweating buckets. To help pass the time Eastwood talked about life in America. Leaving out the details of the war. He described some basic history, ideals, and culture that are held above all else. She was fascinated by the stories of Wild Bill Hickok, Wyatt Earp, Annie Oakley, and Eleanor Dumont. She particular fell in love with the story about Rose Dunn, especially seeing that a movie loosely based off her exploits called 'Rose of Cimarron' came out at the beginning of this year.

As fantasies of gun fights, moral questioning, and native braves from the wild west filled her head, a car drove up before stopping. Out stepped A lot of familiar faces, Rory, Lelei, Tuka, all dressed in winter gowns. Princess Pina and Sir Grey in winterize toga's. Driving the car was Ms. Blanch.

"Ah sorry for the wait. Paperwork was slow, but then again you should know lieutenant Eastwood." Ms. Blanch said mockingly.

"Yeah… still have more to do when I get back." Eastwood grumbled.

"Duly noted, oh before you go on. A gift from the general." Ms. Blanch said as she hands Eastwood an envelope. Eastwood looked inside and to his surprise was a lot of money. A quick count shows to be in the thousands. Before he could ask, Ms. Blanch continues with an explanation. "This will cover the expenses of the V.I.P's. Make sure they have a pleasant trip, and above all else make sure to protect them from any harm."

"Yes, Ma'am." Eastwood replies as he pockets the cash.

"Good, now Princes, Contest, Ladies. Trust in Eastwood. He will be your guide and protector till you get back." Ms. Blanch said gaining a nod from the group.

With that she wished them luck and the door's leading to the gate opened up. Eastwood, Hathale, and O'Hara walked in, followed by Lelei and Rory Leading a nervous Tuka through. Last to follow was Sir Grey and Princess Pina. She had instructed Hamilton to remain at Alnus, till there return. Observe the town and its people to find out any issues. Now with everything in order, she could only wonder. What was the other side like? She and Sir Grey walked through; the long tunnel was dark with the exception of a light at the end of the tunnel. As she walked closer, the nice summer tempter faded and a cool winter one set's in. They moved closer till the light blinded them temporarily. What they saw on the other side, completely astonished the eight.

"By the gods." Pina remarked in absolute astonishment. The buildings surrounding them. They were unlike anything in the capital. Tall buildings made up of brick, adobe, and a strange grey material. In the glass windows she can see multiple people.

"By the craftsman god Duncan. What shock must the officers have felt, upon seeing the land before us." Sir Grey remarks with complete shock.

"Why build upwards? Why not expand out?" Tuka asked as she adjust her sweater sleaves.

"To save on space I suppose." Lelei suggested.

"So… does that mean America is a small country?" Rory asked.

"Heh, Hardly, just that majority of land surrounding the city is farm land." O'Hara explains to them.

"Oh, like Italica." Myui remarks.

"Yeah like Italica." O'Hara said in agreement.

"Fascinating. Ms. Delilah, can you remind me to present this to the workers guild. This might fix our homeless population." Myui asked.

"But of course, Countess." Delilah said, as she takes in the full detail of the city. As they looked around, Eastwood was submitting the papers to the station when someone came from the side.

"Ah, so the guest from the other world have arrived. How wonderful." The voice said. Eastwood looked on over to see three men dressed in suits approach. The two to the side looked like any other body guard while the one in the center caught his attention. Blond hair, a toothy smile and a familiarity about him made Eastwood untrustworthy about him. The man approached Eastwood before speaking.

"I am William Connors. Pleasure to make your acquaintance Lieutenant Eastwood." The man known as William said with a smile.

"Oh am I famous back here or is it the CIA's job to know who I am?" Eastwood remarks as he crosses his arms.

"Ah, so you know who I work for." Connors said with a smile.

"Yeah, Agent William Connors. CIA and former Federalist intelligence gather. The grin kind of gave you away." Eastwood remarks.

"Ah, well. Guess my own reputation proceeds me as well." Connors said without dropping his grin. "Regardless welcome home. I'll be conducting security from here on out."

"So are we expecting an attack?" Eastwood asked.

"Perhaps. A few agents have gathered enough intel to see that a few countries namely the Australian Union are very keen in seeing what's on the other side." Connors replies before pulling out a small black book. "Actually, a lot of major countries are interested. Though most are busy with something else."

"I see…" Eastwood said as he wondered. Will he, be sent here. He made peace with the past but there is one son of a bitch he would jump at the chance to kill. He shook his head before remarking. "Regardless, did you get the rout planned out for us?"

"Yes, admittedly I am perplexed by your choice; But seeing the guest, I think I understand your reasoning." Conner said as he see's the foreign guest look up in shock at the sights of an airplane flying overhead.

"Yeah, figure we give eh a look around the town before we take a train to Denver." Eastwood remarks.

"Fair. Suppose we should get going then." Conner said as the gate open up allowing them to head for a nearby bus.

The group head for the bus and boarded it. The bus started up and it joined in on the traffic. As they did the guest all stared out into the crowed of people. Seeing the groups of people moving about there lives. All while very noticeable decorations were adorned on the walls and street signs. Some signs were saying something but the one word that came up was the word, Christmas.

"It's rather crowded here… is this a market?" Tuka asked as she see's a shop selling those strange hats.

"Maybe, but I'm more curious about those tree's set up around us." Persia asked pointing to one large tree near the park.

"Are they lucky charms or something?" Rory asked.

"Or is it part of their religion?" Delia asked as she spotted a mural of a man in the setting sun.

"Celebration, though we'll talk about it later. Once we're on the train to Denver." Hathale explains. "But for now, we'll have lunch first."

"Good, I haven't had anything to eat today." Sir Grey said as his stomach growled.

"Um, Sir Eastwood. What shall we be eating?" Myui asked.

"A Japanese meal called Ramon. Should be a store nearby." Eastwood answered as the bus comes to a stop nearby the restaurant.

"Ram-on? What is that?" Princess Pina asked.

"You'll see soon enough." Eastwood said as he exits the bus with the rest following soon.

The restaurant had an eastern feeling compared to the traditional western tone that was outside. The man gave a greeting in an unfamiliar language before they were seated at the large counter. They then watched the man prepare some strange meal using a stock, various vegetables and meats, before adding a strange long tan object to the soup. He then served them with a wide spoon and two pairs of sticks.

"Um, sir Eastwood. How does one use these things?" Myui asked as she held up the chop sticks.

"Oh, um like this." Eastwood showed before realizing she still wouldn't get it. Actually, all but Lelei seemed to understand how to use them. So he requested the chef for training sticks. After a few fixes the group began to eat, enjoying every bite. Pina and sir grey however were a bit hesitant

"So, this is… Ram-on." Pina said as she looked down at her meal.

"Doesn't look to bad." Sir Grey remarks.

"No… guess it doesn't." Pina said as she gave a nervous gulp and applied her chopstick trainers to it. Nervously she pulled a bit of the strange food before biting into it. What she got was nothing that she ever expected. It was savory beef flavor with a chewy taste.

"By the gods… this… this…" Pina couldn't even finish her sentence, she proceeded to stuff her face with the delicacy called Ramen. Sir Grey quickly joined in and found himself infatuated by the complex flavors of the delicacy.

"By the gods, this meal must have been made for them. No other way to describe it. It's beyond delicious." Sir Grey said with a smile as he gulped it down.

"Forget learning about our enemy, we need to learn about there cooks." Pina said in agreement.

Sir Grey gave a nod and proceeded to gulp down more and more. By the end of the meal everyone left the Restaurant happier then when they came in. They soon boarded the bus and drove around town stopping by a large shop with different clothes in the windows. Quickly stopping Eastwood turned to the crowed.

"So, before we appear before we go any further. We will be meeting before a world council. Representatives of every country abroad. Question is, does anyone want to get a pair of formal clothes to wear before the countries of the world?" Eastwood asked.

"No, these clothes are fine." Lelei responds.

"Yes, these clothes are these clothes are the Priestesses most formal of attires." Rory declined.

"Do we get to keep them Sir Eastwood?" Myui asked.

"Yes, just. Don't go crazy. They ain't the cheapest thing here." Eastwood said.

"Alright, I'd wish to purchase one of these clothes. As well as for my two servants if it's possible." Myui responds.

"I-I w-would also like a pair." Tuka said nervously as well.

"Alright, kindly follow me off the bus. Rest follow us inside." Eastwood states as they enter the shop.

Inside the guest marveled at the strange yet beautiful clothes surrounding them. It was something out of a dream. After thirty or so minutes the four had picked out a few medium price dresses. After learning about the wonders known as a braw, they emerged looking like they were running for governor or something.

"This, is so amazing." Myui said as she takes a spin in her new dress.

"You look amazing Countess." Persia said with a smile as she adjusts her new glasses.

"Don't sell yourself too Persia. You would make those in the capital green with envy." Delilah said as she points to the red cocktail dress she was wearing. Similar to the one black one she was wearing. As the three admired there outfits, Tuka walked out wearing a business outfit. The three stared at her making her feel uncomfortable.

"W-What? Is it bad?" Tuka asked feeling slightly self-confident.

"No, you look amazing in those clothes." Myui replies.

"Oh, T-Thanks." Tuka replies nervously. As the girls marveled over Tuka's apparel Sir Grey and Pina looked over the wears being sold around them.

"This craftmanship. It's amazing." Pina said as she inspects a summer dress.

"Huh, I know a few lads in the Wyvern division who would kill for something like that." Sir Grey said as he held up a Bomber jacket.

As they inspect there new found clothes Eastwood went up to the girl working the register. "Mind billing the U.S Military? Sort of an unexpected purchase but necessary."

"Um… sure." The women said as she looked on in confusion about the strange girls here.

After purchasing there clothes the group headed to the train station. Thanks to a snow storm out east, the train was slightly late. So to pass the time, Hathale took Myui and her maids as well as Pina and Sir Grey to a local store that sold a few gift items, while Eastwood made a quick stop at the Mary Fields Postal and delivery stand. The rest waited by the tracks, looking on at a beautiful mural of a lone Indian Brave, riding his hoarse through the desert. Looking on, Lelei couldn't help but ask O'Hara about something she has noticed a lot.

"Ms. O'Hara. Why are people obsesses with the setting sun?" Lelei asked.

"Uh, I don't really know. Guess when a long day ends and the reword for it is seeing the sun set?" O'Hara guessed.

"Really, cause it means when one's reins end." Rory replies.

"Well I don't know everything alright. Go ask Eastwood. He would likely know." O'Hara replies.

"Yeah. I would. It's legacy." Eastwood replies as he sits down next to Tuka.

"See, that Native Brave. Wasn't always loved and endeared. For most of our history they were seen as savages. Yet if truth were to be honest, we were more savage then them. Yet, despite the horrible things that happen we have come to peace with them. Even admire them. They are without a doubt the first frontiers men." Eastwood states as he continue looked on at the Mural of the native brave. He then looked down at his shadow that he casted bellow a shadow of an American Frontiersman. "Hence why we admire the sun set. The beautiful colors that can only be experienced once, but how it leaves our shadows of our legacy upon the land."

"Hmm, the legacy of the west eh? How interesting." Rory remarks. She has been walking the world for nearly nine hundred and sixty one years. She has seen the effects of legacy. Hero's and villains alike, there deeds transpire after death. But she never thought about the shadow lying upon the ground.

"So that's why the west love the setting sun." Tuko said as she snapped her fingers. This caused the three to look at her with a confused look. Nervously she continued. "B-Because t-the sun set's in the west… so wouldn't that mean the legacy of the w-west stand the longest… because it's next to the sun?"

Everyone remained quiet for a few moments before Eastwood gave a small chuckle. "Heh, heh. Yeah, something like that. Heh, maybe Arthur Chapman should have added that part to his poem."

Lelei and Rory gave a bizarre look while Tuka brighten up with excitement at the prospect that Eastwood agreed. The two turned to O'Hara who simply gave a shrug to it. As Eastwood continues to chuckle the sound of the train had caught everyone's attention. It soon pulled into the station before coming to a complete stop. Passengers got off with massive baggage and left, once the train had cleared out Hathale returned with the V.I.P's. Myui enjoying a cola for the first time in her life. Her maids were enjoying the sweat and bitter taste of chocolate, meanwhile Grey was trying hard to hide a playboy magazine he bought. As for Pina, she had found a travelers guide to America. She was studying it frantically, hoping it would reveal any crucial weakness or anything she can from the land and it's resources. After a few minutes the train was ready for boarding. Eastwood, O'Hara, Hathale, Tuka, Rory, and Lelei boarded the train without a problem. Myui, the maids, Pina, and Grey were more hesitant. After a few moments they slowly boarded with Pina being the last to board. The moment she did, the doors close behind her and the train started to move. East bound, to Denver Colorado.

Back on the other side, North Italica.

A group of Imperial soldiers, 100,000 strong make there way to Italica. For some time they knew it was no longer in the hands of the empire. The traitors and cowardly Formal Family gave it away, without spilling any blood. Enraged The empire sent a massive force to lay claim to the land. They will finally put an end to the Formal family, just as Emperor Tully should have done long ago. Problem was the massive defenses. Italica can withhold a siege of 400,000, it has in the past and will probably do so in the future. Though this time they have a strategy to overcome this. The view had open up within the General's tent, General Quintus Caepio, and his underlings discuss there plan's for battle.

"Our scouts told us that the treacherous Italica citizens have given land ownership to the west here. They are currently storing multiple metallic crosses here." General Caepio said as he points to a map of the nearby land. "We shall send the goblins in to cause chaos. Then over ten thousand of our troops shall siege them when there backs are turned. As these men face the Ameri-can savage's, our remaining forces will attack the city gates."

"But my league. That be suicide. Not even an army of five hundred thousand can break through." One high ranking soldier states.

"Ah, that is true, however I received word that our Wyvern Corp will arrive from the east. They are armed with oil flask's, stones, and recently created poison bombs." General Caepio said with a smug look on his face.

"Poison bombs?" Another high ranking soldier asked.

"Yes, see a magician from Rondel recently uncovered that by mixing certain dangerous poisons with water and heating it, the poison water transform into a green gas. Those who inhale to much will become violently ill, to which will die… painfully." General Caepio said as he produces on container from under the table. "We will drop these in and around the wall. Maybe if we have any left over we drop it on the Formals as well. Just as long as our soldiers hold there ground we shall enter unchallenged."

The High-ranking soldiers awed at the general's plan, and began to applaud him for his tactical genius. After soaking in the fan fair he calmed them down with the wave of his hand before remarking with a shit eating grin as he raised a goblet of wine. "We attack at dawn. Sleep well tonight, for tomorrow we shall be remembered as the hero's who pushed the otherwordly savages back!"

The high ranking soldiers grabbed theirs and raised a toast to victory. They chugged before leaving the tent to sleep. There dreams will be filled with victory. General Caepio was the last to leave. He grabbed a bottle of wine and chugged it from the bottle. Picturing the ceremony he shall receive for bringing in the Countess head. Unaware of her absences… and that two people were under the table.

"Phew. You know, for a general. He sure likes the sound of his own voice." Zeke said to the male elf companion.

"(Sigh) I still have no idea what your saying." The elf replies in his own language. As the two silently crept out from under the table the elf continued. "I still don't know why Vic asked me to come with you. Far as I can see you can handle yourself fine with your first stone wheel."

"Whatever you say, elf. It can't be good." Zeke said as he gave the reader a clean look at his face. His patch has seen better days, and an uneven beard as grown in. His clothes were covered in mud and filled with holes.

For the past two months he and Vic as well as their band of misfits had made their way southwest. It was a struggle, surviving off the land foreign to them. Running into wild animals, both normal and fantasy alike. They for the most part remained off the road, avoiding major town and simply following the star's and a hand craft sextant. A few times they had to rob a few carts. Though all of them were supplies for the empire so they didn't feel to bad. Zeke had only 2 shot's left in his 32. Special used one on the first robbery and three when chased by feral spiders, the size of cars. As they came close to a city Known as Italica they noticed a lot of American air travel and decided to get a closer look. Sure enough, they found this camp. Curiosity got the better of Zeke and Vic and they decided to find out any information about what this force was doing here. After sneaking around, Zeke and the elf who's name eludes him now found the generals war tent. Sneaking inside without a hitch, however before they could find out what's going on. The general nearly walked in on them. Quickly they hid under the table. Nearly had a close call when the general reached underneath for the bottle. Now that they are gone, the two could quickly and quietly search the room.

"This looks important." The elf said as he grabs the plans for the siege. But much to his annoyance Zeke was too busy helping himself to a chest of jewels. Annoyed the elf hissed. "Idiot!"

"Hmm, what? Oh, what do you have their, my elvish friend?" Zeke asked as he stuffed his pockets with rare jewels and gold.

He quickly snatches the map and looked at it. His eye scans the papers carefully. Noticing a few things with the word, 'Venenum'. Coming up over and over again. He can tell by the layout this was a battle strategy of some sort. Course what caught his attention the most was the field to the west of the city. Multiple sets of drawing were made. They looked familiar to him.

"Hmm, if I had to guess. Them cowpoke soldier built an airfield. Neat. Might be nice to catch a ride in one of them p-51 mustang. Still best we take this with us." Zeke said to the elf.

"I still don't know what your saying. But we should go. We overstayed our welcome already." The elf said before motioning Zeke to follow out the small hole they had cut in the back. Quickly and quietly they sneaked through the campsite of sleeping and drunk soldiers.

Up on a hill not to far from the camp was Vic. Looking down from the hill with the female elf and dwarf. They watched from afar, waiting silently for Zeke and the other elf to return. As they did, the dwarf started to become impatient.

"… Baw, what's taking so long. It's been hours." The dwarf groaned in impatient.

"It's only been thirty minutes dwarf. The alarms have yet to ring, they will be back soon by now." The female elf hissed back.

"Yeah, maybe in another hour. Seriously. The sun will rise two times before either of those fools return." The dwarf grumbles.

"What is wrong with you. Are you so impatient that you can't wait for five minutes without doing anything!" The female elf hissed in response.

"She elf, I'll let you know that I have the patience of a serpent." The dwarf retorts.

"You have the patience of a rabbit in mating season." The she elf sneered back. The two then began to bicker like two school children. After a few moments Vic snaps.

"Enough!" Vic snapped. "Will you two please be quiet. I swear the soldier bellow can hear you fighting over the moon by now."

"He/She started it!" Both the she elf and dwarf said at the same time. The two looked at each other before giving each other a dirty look. Before this argument could continue Vic shushed them as he spotted the two sneakily making their way up the hill.

"About damn time you return. Been hours." The dwarf complained.

"We've been only gone for thirty minutes." The elf replies.

"That's what I have been saying brother. But he is as patient as a new born babe." The she elf explained to the other elf.

"Are you calling me a baby she elf?" The dwarf asked insulted.

As the three began to argue, Vic ignored them entirely and turned to Zeke. Asking him, "Did you managed to find any important documents?"

"Not much, though look at what long ears got us." Zeke said as he hand Vic the map. Vic took the map, as he studied it Zeke then pulled out a large ruby medallion. "Though I managed to score myself a nice little trinket of my own."

As he admired the treasure he nabbed for himself, Vic went over the plans carefully. She translated the language with some difficulty due to the sloppy handwriting. However upon completely translating it, the words in passage greatly shocked Vic.

"My god." Vic said as he put's down the map. Quickly turning to Zeke he then continued. "Zeke, we need to get to Italica before morning."

"What? Why? What them papers say Vic?" Zeke asked, slightly concern about Vic's reaction.

"They are going to gas an entire city." Vic explains pointing out to gate that they intended to detonate.

Hello everybody, I hope you enjoyed your Christmas break. But it's that time of year again and I'm back again. So, we just started the tour of America Arc. I'll admit. This was a bit difficult to write. Maybe because I was on vacation for a bit. That or it felt a bit bland to write this segment. Regardless I got this done, next arc will be much easier and we got to meet the Federalist character. Question now who will step up to be the New England architect? (Unless… she's already here?) Along with that we get a sneak peak for an upcoming battle. The Second siege of Italica. And by the looks of it. We will be getting an arial one. Oh and before we get on the questions, due to the length of the chapter, there will be an extension to the last chapter request for suggestions. (Again, your suggestions for propaganda art will be put in the National mall.) Right so with that out of the way, onto reviews.

From dovah-keen01: Eh, agree to disagree I suppose. Wanted to have a different empire compared to other stories and add a feeling that this is not your ordinary lattin like in the other stories. Also yes, I've seen both dub and sub anime. (Was a bit difficult seeing that most anime I find are bootlegged but hey. I don't mind the challenge.)

Thanks for writing dovah-keen01

From wwgaming: Hmmm, that's a good question. Truth is I don't know. I have the main story and then the side stories. So it's possible we will see the Invasion of Australia in the story though I can't guarantee it. (Least not in this story. Another story I'm writing, RWBY Noir. That will happen.)

Thanks for writing wwgaming.

From ChoytheUSChamp: Yeah. Never fuck with the Mountaineer. Especially one with a kid on the way.

Thanks for writing ChoytheUSChamp

From Perseus12: Heh, yeah. Reminds me of this video essay I saw. On how at time's Cowboy's and Samurai are two sides of the same coin. (*Stop me if you heard this before. A stranger walk into a strange land. Adorned in simple clothes at the time he silently strolls into a town or settlement. The only thing he carries that catches the eye, is the weapon on his hip. Is he a Gunslinger or a Ronin?)

Thanks for writing Perseus12

From Eddie119: Oh she will. Granted it will have to be drilled into her head. With a fucking jackhammer. Girl's Imperial pride has blinded her so much that she can't recognize the stupidity of war. Also, Heh, sorry but the way you say it reminds me of a song. "war is horrible because of how many lives it can take" (War. I despise. It means destruction to innocent lives. War means tears. To thousands of mothers' eyes. When their sons go out to fight. And lose their lives)

Nothing say's War is Hell then the Denver graveyard. That and the National Mall.

Thanks for writing Eddie119

From Blazeblade: Well, for the most part I like to keep some things close to history. However the few weapons that I made up are far and in between. But I suppose I can fit that into the Museum scene.

Thanks for writing Blazeblade

From Crimson Weresloth: Alright, what's your idea.

Thanks for writing Crimson Weresloth

From EvilTheLast: Yep, maybe instead of scheming she should listen to Sir Grey's words and just play nice.

Thanks for writing EvilTheLast

From Diesec: Thanks, and I agree. There's a joke about procrastinating in here somewhere.

Thanks for writing Diesec

From Jorin Direfrost: Yeah, I know. Shame too. This story is heavily inspired by his "Gate: Worlds at War". Just before posting I had the privilege to talk to him over P.M… before he left. Sadly, I don't know if he had moved the story to Whattpad or is it forever gone. Regardless by all means I will pay my respects to him.

Thanks for writing Jorin Direfrost

From MarauderPrime12: Thank you.

Thanks for writing MarauderPrime12

From DaskReigsman: Yeah. Best way to describe it, is the equivalency of the Nuremberg trials.

Thanks for writing Daskreigsman

From XXxxxadisxxxXX: Ah. I'm sorry about that. I tend to focus on producing the stories quickly rather then officiantly.

Thanks for writing XXxxxadisxxxXX

Right so with that done, please leave a suggestion for a propaganda poster bellow. But leave a comment or question as well. Fav and Fol the story to show your support. This is Wombag1786 signing.
