Dedalus Diggle heard the news in the dead of night, struck still at the tidings.
The Statute of Secrecy was the furthest thing from his mind at that moment. Little Harry Potter had vanquished Voldemort, and the long war was at an end. It was time for celebration!
He cast upward, lighting the darkness with a trail of shooting stars, uncaring of who saw or the consequences thereof. Peace was finally on the horizon, and Dedalus couldn't help but manifest an outward show of that joyous relief. Staring skyward at his handiwork, Dedalus hoped his spontaneous optimism was not misplaced.
