On Alnus Hill.

3rd POV

The scene opens up in one of the bars. There a lone dark elf sat, trying this new exquisite drink that could only be found in Alnus. Tequila it was called. Had a citrusy taste to it but she enjoyed it none the less. As she downs her second glass, her ears begin to twitch as a set of spurs can be heard entering the door. Though she didn't turn around as she knew who came in.

"Sir Eastwood… I assume?" Yao asked as she shrivel around to greet Eastwood. His eyes were cold as he stares into hers. "I assume you got my message."

Eastwood responds by throwing a hard right hook. Yao fell to ground, with her drink crashing down beside her. She slowly pulls herself up, wiping the blood from the corner lip. Smugly she looked up and stated. "Suppose that's a, yes?"

Eastwood didn't respond but proceeded to kick her in the face. Bashing the back of her head before pulling her up to his level. With a cold fury in his voice Eastwood spoke. "What… did you do to Tuka!"

"(Cough, Cough) I told… the truth." Yao said as she spat blood from her lips. "That her father has passed on. Died by the great fire dragon. Heh heh. Something that not even great Eastwood could do."

Eastwood's rage was now on full display. He begins beating Yao within an inch of her life. Yet she did not drop that shit eating grin. Almost as if she knew despite the pain she had won.

When Eastwood got back to Alnus Rory had approached her. Told him everything. How a Dark elf has been tormenting Tuka until she finally snapped. She was about to take the easy way out, had it not been for Rory and a few MP's she would have bled out on her apartment floor. While no evidence could suggest that it was this dark elf. She made it very clear that she wanted Eastwoods attention. Though doubt she wanted the backfoot of his attention. He then tired himself out and takes a few steps back to catch his breath. His fist was bloodied, both his and hers blood dripped from his fingertips. Yao looked like a pumpkin after Halloween. Bruises, cuts, it's a miracle she was able to stand. And despite the loss of a few of her teeth she continued to wear that shit eating grin.

"Nko, heir ih ahway ho hix htis…" Yao struggled to say before pulling out a molar. "Vengeance."

"I might just." Eastwood said as he draws his big Iron.

"Nah… killing me won't do anything. Poor Tuka now knows the truth. No way of unknowing. She must kill the beast that took her father." Yao said with a bloody smile. Eastwood didn't respond. He just cocked his Big Iron and pressed it against her temple. She didn't even flinch as the patrons of the bar went silent. "You can kill me… but that does nothing Eastwood. Only cure, is vengeance against the monster that terrorize my people."

Eastwood looks her dead in the eye. After a few moments he pulls the Sequoia back and decock the pistol. "You are a low-down snake. You know that."

"Maybe… maybe." Yao said as she struggles to her feet. "But I would do… deceive… endure anything. ANYTHING! If it saves my people."

"Well… endure this." Eastwood said before delivering a strong frontal kick that sent her flying out the window. She cut's herself on the glass as she tumbles down a small slope towards two MP's who had heard the commotion and came to investigate.

Eastwood then walks out, passing the two who tried to stop him, but he ignored their order and carried on to the hospital. He then walks into the building, asking to see Tuka. After some paperwork, he was allowed to see her. She was being closely monitored by doctors alike. Anything that could be used to harm herself was removed and she was bandages covering her wrist. As she looked on out the window with hopeless eyes, a nurse called to her but she didn't respond. After a few moments Eastwood was allowed in. He pulled up a chair and sat by Tuka.

"Hey kid. How are you holding up?" Eastwood asked. Tuka didn't respond. Just continue to look out at the bustling town. "(Sigh) Sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I'd knew a few friends of mine who never left the battlefield. Not in mind. Some fancy kraut scientist referred to shellshock as a disease that all soldier face. Not sure what the technicality is for it but I've seen it change a man. I had hoped that you'd grown out of it… but it seems the piper must be paid."

Tuka continues to be unresponsive. Not giving up on her he leans back in his chair. "I'll be with yah should you need me. I ain't going nowhere tonight. Maybe tommorow but not tonight. I'll be here for yah."

He pats her hand hoping to get a response but it sadly didn't. He leans back and sat by her side throughout the night. As the sun sets, the scene changes to the Imperial capital, in the south palace.

The Imperial capital, that same night

There Prince Zorzal slept silently. Dreaming of his glory. Leading an army over the broken bodies of these barbarians that threaten the kingdom. He had slaid there king and was about to present it to an adoring audience when a bear raced towards him. He drew his sword but the bear kept knocking it out of his hand. Every time he goes to retrieve it the bear would chew and scratch at him violently. He would call for aid but none of his soldiers, nor the civilians cheering for him would respond. They were no more then dust and bones. The imperial city a wasteland. And the bear. The bear was no longer a bear, but a man. a Man with a big iron. He held it to his head and pulled the trigger. This causes the prince to wake up screaming. Screaming that too awakened his personal slave.

"What is it, my prince?" Tyuule asked as she wipes the sand from her eyes.

"Wine…" The prince said in a cold sweat. "GIVE ME WINE!"

Quickly doing what she was ordered, Tyuule hands the prince a jug of wine to which he snatches it and downs the whole jug. As he does, Tyuule noted his behavior of late. He has the same nightmare, over, and over again. He hasn't been eating, he's been drinking stronger wine. Though his body is on its way to recover his mind has suffered a wound that cannot be mended. As he finishes the wine, he laid his head upon her bust and silently cries into them. A devious smile overcame her face. She silently toys and strokes his hair, thinking silently to herself.

'Soon. Soon. These Americans will be unleashed and you will pay for what you have done to my tribe.' She thought as she rubs the back of his head. Prince Zorzal struggles to fall back asleep as Tyuule strokes his head gently, as he struggles the scene pulls to the side. In the ruins of the imperial senate building, two figures meet.

"I'm shock by your stance sister. Was it not five years ago you dreamed of riding off to war? Now here you are fighting to stop one." The stranger said as he leans against a scorched pillar.

"Yes well, I saw first hand of our enemy's capability brother. But unlike other's they not seek to usurp us. Rather to have their people returned and to be left alone." Pina said as she addresses the man, Prince Diablo.

He had returned from the Western Campaigns only a few days ago to learn of the new threat to the south. Admittedly when he heard of how a single man beat the fear of God into his brother and left unharmed, he thought the rumors to be greatly exaggerated. Now that he has seen his brother… he wasn't sure if he should kill or hug this stranger. It was no secret that Diablo hated his older brother for being next in line to the throne. He was a blood thirsty idiot who knew nothing beyond war. Diablo on the other hand has dedicated himself to learning the inside and out of the empire not just only in military leadership but in governing day to day; and what was his reward for his duty to the Empire, shipped off to fight another one of Zorzal's campaigns against the plains people.

"Though truth be told they are being merciful. I've seen how they fight, and at any given time they can easily storm the capital before we could muster any defense. And the citizens would rejoice in the demolition of our empire, for they have been nothing but kind to all who they meet who don't draw their swords." Pina added to which Diablo noted. However, he did not draw her sister over for idol discussion on the peace negotiation.

"Pina, If I may ask. Has father and the Senate made official like of succession?" Diablo asked blatantly.

"They have. I'm sorry to say that it will be brother Zorzal." Pina answers causing Diablo to grimace.

"Damn it." Prince Diablo cursed aloud.

"I'm sorry." Pina said as she put's her hand on his shoulder. "Truth be told I'd think you would make fore a better leader then him."

"Any fool could be better then that oaf." Diablo said as he shrugs off his half sister's hand. "There are two kinds of idiots in this world, sister dearest. The idiots who know they are idiots, and the idiots who know not. Our brother Zorzal is a true idiot. He will plot and scheme and undo everything once he becomes emperor. Please speak to father and the senate. Make them reconsider their option."

"I'm sorry brother but this is final. Tradition calls for the oldest. And the peace deal, it's so close to being secured that I can't risk jeopardizing it. Not even for the line of succession. It could spark a civil war should it come into question on the senate." Pina warns her brother only for his eyes to widen.

"Civil war… by the gods. He want's one." Prince Diablo mutters to himself with a horrified realization. As Pina explains the importance of showing unity in these trying times, Diablo begins connecting the dots of his father's grand design in his head, 'He want's a civil war. Pina has spoken with the Ameri-cans. They just want to be left alone. Zorzal will be foolhardy and start a war once he's in control. This will split the empire in two, and Zorzal will take full power. However, Pina would secure an alliance with the Ameri-cans. Enlisting the aid of there forces and sure enough would win the war. Not only securing an alliance with the Ameri-cans… but making Pina the next in line.'

He turns and stares at her sister, trying hard to keep a stoic look on his face. 'I was a fool. It is not Zorzal who will be next in line. It will be Pina. No… no, their must be a way. … I know. If Pina can convince a country from the other side, then I shall do the same.'

"Brother? Are you alright? You are being a little to quiet." Pina asked

"I'm fine." Diablo remarks.

"You're doing it again you know." Pina remarks as she crosses her arms.

"What?" Diablo asked.

"Zorzal never thinks before he does, but you over think everything. What are you planning brother?" Pina asked with some concern in her tone.

"Nothing to do with your peace talks. Forget it sister. Just watch your back around Zorzal." Diablo said as he walks away. Pina was tempted to follow but she is needed elsewhere. Unbeknownst to both their conversation was being observed in secret.

Back on alnus hill, hospital.

The scene then returns back to Alnus. The early sunlight came through the window. It slowly crept over a sleeping Eastwood. As soon as the unlight met his closed eyes he begins to stir. He stretches and lets out a small yawn before rubbing his eyes.

"Morning… daddy." Tuka spoke.

"Morning kid…" Eastwood suddenly pauses as his eyes widens in confusion and shock. "Wait, what?"

"Heh did you forgot something daddy? You need to go to bed earlier." Tuka said in a sweetly tone, almost childlike. Eastwood was uncertain to do. On one hand he's glad to hear Tuka speaking. On the other hand. It's fairly off-putting to hear her refer to him as 'daddy' like a child.

"Um right… hey kid is you feeling alright?" Eastwood asked as he pressed his hand against her head.

"Of course, daddy. Now that I have found you again." Tuka said with a smile as she pulls Eastwood in for a hug.

"Again?" Eastwood asked with eye wide and bullets sweating down the back of neck.

"Tee hee, yeah. I was so worried after that dark elf told me all those horrible things. But I knew it wasn't true. You just wandered off. Daddy." Tuka said innocently but it was a waking nightmare for Eastwood.

"Oh… lord almighty." Eastwood remarks with a horrified look on his face.

Days later, with no improvement

Things… have not gotten any better. Eastwood took Tuka to the doctor and after a few tests they found that she had descended into a delusional psychosis where she see's Eastwood as her actual father. This was a severe case and Eastwood was told by the doctors that she must come to terms with her father's death. So, in the meantime. He should act like her father and slowly ease off her delusion. Sadly, this proved easier said then done. For one along with the huge stacks paperwork from nearly starting a war, he also had to play father to Tuka. He had no idea what her father was like and quite frankly was bluffing mostly through the day. Though had he known Tuka didn't seem to notice the massive gaps in her delusion. She bought the same clothes to compensate with his strange attire, always asking about his new job to explain why he isn't village chief, and begging him to find a new job so that he can come home and rest. That last one includes sleeping beside Tuka who like many of the locals do so in the nude. That last one got Eastwood so terrified he sent a letter to his wife explaining his situation and that he would remain faithful. In response he received a package with a single chancla with a letter that reads, 'Y̶̛̱̯͕͙̹̍̈̐͋̀̈́͛̓͂͌͐̔̃͊̇͌͘̚ö̴̧̩̯̹̺̞͉̤͓̪̱̗́̀̾̔̈́̈́̔̈́̓͋͋̉̆̽͆͑͒̈́̏́͐͆̕͝͝ư̴̧̛̻̌̍̓̀͊̾͐̽̈́͌̽̕͘͝͝ ̷̛̛̛͖͚̥̝̝̘̘̻̗̩͓̜͑̀̏́̒͐̃͐̊̈́̆̂͋̒̕b̶̡̺͖̠̞̬̙͓̰̦̦͔̬͇̮̌̀͑́̌̐̈́̚et̴̙̔͑̒͒̒̌̓̂͊̽̂̿̋͋́̓͊̈́͌̊̀̎t̴̢̢̯̙̲̬̟̯͔͚̝̹̱̭͙͚͉̰̜̉͊̂̿̽̏͊̈́̏̆̈́͗͊͗͑̀̏̒̀͒̄̊̌̚͠ẻ̶̛̟̥̜̳͈͕̞̠̤̤̽͑̈̍̐̏̐́͑̏͑͗́͋̿̕̕͠ͅr̠̮͈̃̒͒̏̅͌̾̐̌̚͠ '.

Strangely Rory had flinched the exact moment he opened that package. She spent the rest of the day covering the back of her head as if she was about to be swatted. Other then the stressful day of keeping up this delusional facade, it was some of the best days Tuka had since her actual fathers passing. She has become rather close with 3rd Recon. Hathale was seen like an old uncle figure. Giving wise words but also having a filthy habit of smoking that strange incense. Scott was a bit of jester but always spoke honestly. Brook… he was an idiot but one with a heart of gold. Though at times his accent was hard to understand. Jones and Zimmerman were like the twins, always together and fighting. Though most times it was against others not themselves. O'Hara was so cool and was surprisingly strong for her size. Pérez was a bit sinister but he would slip her a few treats when nobody was looking. Then there was Fujita. Admittedly she was second only to her father when she was around her. She had a bit of a crush on her and she wasn't sure how to express that.

Eastwood was glad to see her smiling for a change. But he knew he can't keep this up for long. He talked with multiple doctors at the facility when he had the chance but they all gave the same answers. It was on one night that he sat outside the facility staring up at the night sky when he heard the steps of someone approaching from beside. An old man with two prosthetic limbs slowly moved towards Eastwood.

"Pardoned me, mind if I take a seat? I aways come out here this time of night to look up at the night sky." The old man asked.

"Sure." Eastwood said as he slides over allowing for the old man to take a seat. He offered him a cigarette to which he accepted. The two smoked for a bit before the old man begins coughing and hacking.

"(Cough, cough) Sorry, (Cough, cough) not use to these things. (Cough, cough)" The old man said as he struggles to inhale the smoke.

"It's fine. First time I smoked one not only did I vomit but almost burned down the family barn. Heh, pa was so mad." Eastwood said reminiscing.

"So, you're a farmer huh?" The old man asked.

"Yep, four generation. 1st Soldier in… well, a really long time." Eastwood remarks before taking a drag.

"Hmm, it shouldn't surprise me, yet every time I hear it; it always does. When I first came here not only were you Ameri-cans so polite, but how there is no royalty in your land. Everyone from different backgrounds free to pursue their own lives. Something remarkable." The old man said with a smile.

"Yep, everyone's different. What about your old timer? You've look like you've been through some hard times." Eastwood asked about the missing limbs.

"Road bandits injured me good arm and back leg. Had to be removed due the green growth." The old man said despite being a complete lie.

"Hmm, I know that. Got a few friends who lost their limbs in such a way. Some are still adjusting but others… well kind of the reason why I'm out here." Eastwood said as he leans back into his seat.

"Oh? Do go on." The old man said before quickly adding, "I got family in the army. Not the Imperial bastards but in the local kingdom of Alguna. I'd hate to think that he could have been one of the many poor souls to die on this hill."

"Yeah. That was some shit show." Eastwood said in a regretful tone. "Well, if you have to know. Theirs a girl in town. An elf. She lost her entire village to the flame dragon. She couldn't handle the stress and held out hope that somehow alive. But recently she was forced to confront these truths and now her condition has worsened. We have a term for this back in the states. Shell shock."

"Shell shock?" The old man asked.

"Yep. Was a popular phrase during the Weltkrieg and is still used today." Eastwood said before pausing to take a drag. "As my brother once put it, just cause you are back don't mean your back. We soldiers see the worst of everything on those fields. It haunts us. We find our own ways of dealing with it… but often it requires a lot of help. Help that don't come cheap or endlessly. At wit's end some soldiers take their own lives."

"Hmm, I think I am beginning to understand what you're saying." The old man said as he clings to arm. "Is there any way that you could help her carry such a toll?"

"Well, one idea is pretty damn stupid. And the sole reason she's in this mess in the first place." Eastwood pauses to take a drag. What he said next nearly caused the old man to choke on the cigarette. "Kill the Flame Dragon."

"The Flame Dragon?!" The old man said as he nearly spat out the cigarette.

"Yep. And that ain't the kicker. See it's nesting out in the Elbe kingdom. We are not at war with them and to move a significant force thought would be an act of war. Not sure your aware but us Americans. Don't like war." Eastwood explains.

"Yet you are armed to the teeth with weapons nobody would dare think of." The old man pointed out.

"Having a weapon is different then using one." Eastwood rebuttals. "It's not foolish wishing for peace, but it is foolish to not prepare for war."

"Fair. War comes for all." The old man said as he sits back and takes a drag from his cigarette. "But you do make a valid point. The empire has spent weeks propagating the Ameri-cans to all foreign kingdoms. And with the deaths of their kings at the battle of Alnus has done nothing but confirm the case."

Eastwood then takes one last drag from his cigarette before standing up. "That's why we can't just kill it."

"That is fair. Though I'd thought the same when I… er I heard the ailed armies were marching on the hill, they would overtake the small forces that laid on the land. But it seems you Americans specialize in small forces." The old man said quickly retracting his words. "Heh and that detonation magic. Why I'm surprising such a thing existed. I'd thought he ground would blast out from underneath us… er me."

Eastwood gives a nod before discarding the cigarette. "Thanks for the conversation. Helped tilt my hat on right."

"Your what?" The old man asked.

"An old saying. Have a lovely evening." Eastwood said before walking off into the night.

The old man gives a nod before returning to star gazing. On nights like this he can't help but think of his home. And hearing how such a destructive creature is being housed within his kingdom made him even more homesick. "(Sigh) Gods be damned. Must I remain quiet?"

The following day, on the airstrip.

The scene then cuts to the following day. Third Recon was called into action again at the capital. They were to act as support to the rolling 3rd Marine's in peace keeping, reconnaissance, and being an honorary guard during the peace signing. Tuka was not permitted to go and Eastwood couldn't stay. Much to her sadness.

"Papa, why must you leave. Is it something I did?" Tuka pleaded.

"It's not that kid. I just have a job to do. And I can't take you." Eastwood said trying to comfort Tuka. Though to little effort.

"It's not fair." Tuka moaned as she begins to tear up.

"I know kid." Eastwood said as he pats her on the head.

"Sir, Helo is taking off, get your gear onboard!" Hathale calls from inside the copper. Eastwood quickly places on his helmet. He waved goodbye as he boards the Helicopter. There he stands quietly as the Helicopter slowly begins to take off. As he stands their gazing at Tuka, the rest of 3rd Recon noticed his silent demeanor. For a moment they knew what their commander was thinking. They were all thinking it. Suddenly Hathale puts his hand on Eastwood shoulder.

"Sir." Hathale said. "Go."

"Hmm?" Eastwood asked unsure if he had heard his second in command correctly.

"Por el amor de Dios, just go!" Pérez shouted out.

"For once I agree. Just get the feck out and do what you got you miserable bastard!" O'Hara called out.

"Yeah… what was it again?" Brooks whispered.

"Killing the dragon, that traumatized Tuka." Scott explains.

"Oh… you mean the angry bird?" Brooks asked only for Scoot to slap his hand to his face in annoyance.

"Thanks. Really, you're the best team I could have served with." Eastwood said with a proud smile practically glowing on his face.

"It's fine sir. Just give that damn lizard hell!" Zimmerman called out.

"And then some more!" Jones added.

"For Tuka!" Fujita finished.

Eastwood gives a nod before he grab's his things. Now standing at the door, clutching the sides. He was about to jump when he shouted to his Corporal, "Hathale. You're in charge of third Recon till I get back!"

"Sir." Hathale said with a salute.

Eastwood responded before jumping off the Helicopter. He landed with a thud and nearly fell. He may be a soldier but age is not treating him well. Quickly finding his balance, he marches towards the now Surprise Tuka.

"Father… what did you do that for?" Tuka asked as she raced up to him.

"I… decided not to go to the capital." Eastwood said before stumbling. Tuka grabbed ahold of him and tears ran down her face.

"Oh father. I knew you wouldn't leave me." Tuka said with tears running down her eyes.

"Yeah…" Eastwood said as he rubs her head. "… Hey, why don't you and I take a trip."

"A trip? Where?" Tuka asked.

"South. We got some unfinished business down there." Eastwood said before suddenly feeling a sudden agonizing pinch in his leg. "After, we see the doc."

Tuka then assisted Eastwood to the medical facility. After a quick ice dip, the two gather supplies. Tuka packed food from the cantina while Eastwood gather's supplies from the weapon depo. They then meet at the garage where Eastwood commandeered a Scout car. As the two loaded up, they were interrupted.

"To what do you two think your doing?" Rory demands.

"Nothing, just a camping trip." Eastwood said as he tried to brush her off. Course as soon as he turns his back to her, she used her halberd to trip Eastwood.

"I've spent enough time to get to know you, old man. You're going after the Flame dragon. Aren't you. And you didn't even invite me." Rory said disappointed.

"Ugh, seriously? That's what you're bellyaching about?" Eastwood said as he slowly pulls himself to his feet. "You pissed that I didn't invite you on a fubar job?"

"Yes! Though I don't know what that means, I know a warrior reading himself for war when I see one." Rory chastised before walking over. "That is why. I'm coming with you."

"You can't be serious." Eastwood said as he pinches the bridge of his nose.

"I'm the apostle to the god Emory. A dragon no matter how young is no laughing matter. You'll be needing all the help you can get." Rory declares.

"She has a point." A voice called out. Looking right behind him, Eastwood spots Lelei walking over with a duffle bag of supplies. "It would be highly foolish to go after it alone."

"You can't be serious as well kid." Eastwood protest.

"Yes, it's a long journey and I can assist in local customs of the kingdom of Elbe. I can provide assistance." Lelei explains as she sets her things inside the car.

"Kid, I'm old. My pension and the money I'd set up for my family will ensure their safety. I ain't looking to let you throw your wife away." Eastwood continue to protest.

"I appreciate the sentiment. But was it not for you. We would all be dead. Life is cruel here and It's a blessing to live to your age." Lelei explains before adding. "Tuka, is my friend. I would be doing the same thing with or without you."

"Same. I may be immortal but even I like my friends." Rory added.

"That and Mrs. Eastwood would attack you with her sandal again." Lelei added.

"Phss… She can try but she couldn't even get within striking distance of me." Rory counters only to feel a cold chill down her spine as she swore, she could have heard her voice in her ear. "Ţ̷̧̧̢̜̰̪̼̩̰̬͎̮̠̘̉͌̐͘r̶̢̡̧͚̯̯̣̣̥͉̯̩̖̊̆̾̊͗̇͗̄̿͐͊͋̀͘̕͜y̵̛̻̭͚͍̿̒̐̀̔̆̒̒͜ͅ ̴̡̢̛̖͚͎̥͓̼̣̦͙̒̊̊̐͆͑̈́̾͛͝m̷̩̜̗͖͍̄̓̄̋̚͘e̵̳̗̲̟̥̮̗̩̳̤̠͗̀̅́͊̚ ̵̧̡̫̭̳̬͉̱̥̆̈́p̵̖͙̦̯̟̗̠͖͚̳̮͔̓̀ẽ̡̨͓̩̱̦͉̞͜q̷̩̙͔̮̳͙͐̑͗̊̍̐̐̂̊̀͑ų̶͉͖̪̟̙̩̥̖̬͉̲̗̗͈̄̄͋̊́̈́͂͆̿͌̏͌̚ḙ̜̪͈̪͕̘̺͍͎̮̟͚͖̃̽́͗̄͗̓̔̉͗̽̕͘ñ̳̜̱͕͉̙̭͎ͅͅą̃ ̵̬̌̑̆̓̐p̷̟̙̣̘̜̦̞̼̣̲̰̄́͒̐̀̏͒̎̆͂̆͗̕͜͝ę̴͎̠͙̤̘̬̾̆̊͒͂̽͐rṟ̶͎̞͇́̒́͋̈́̉̚͝͝ḁ̡̛̩̯̩̬͎̌̈́͌́̿͊̀͛̀̒͛ "

Eastwood thought about it for a moment. He didn't like the idea of bringing these two along. But they both made surprisingly decent points. So, with a hard sigh he relents. "(Sigh) Fine… you can come."

"Good, cause I was going with you anyways." Rory said as she breaks free from that moment of terror. "But I don't mind the ride old man."

"Uh huh. Sure." Eastwood said as he rolls his eyes and gets into the driver seat. "Just, do me a favor the both of you. Don't get yourself killed over me. I've lost enough friends as is. Don't want to add your names to that ever-growing list."

"I'm immortal old man. I'll sooner die of old age before the dragon could digest me." Rory said with a confident smirk.

Eastwood again rolled his eyes. He started up the car and begins driving to the entrance, only to stop just outside when Ms. Blanch and a dozen MPs blocked the road. If looks could kill, her glair would have blown up the scout car.

"Lieutenant Eastwood. What are you doing?!" Ms. Blanch shouted in fury. "She then approached the side of the car and begin giving Eastwood an earful. "You and your team were to take off at 1100 hours for the capital. So, tell me, why are they on their way while their commanding Lieutenant is here in an unauthorized requisition vehicle and dozens of military surpluses!"

"Ma'am I'm taking this to kill the flame dragon in the kingdom of Elbe." Eastwood answers honestly. "Please tell, the MPs to move aside."

"Lieutenant. Have you lost your mind or are you a sucker for paperwork!?" Ms. Blanch snapped in rage. "You just admitted for plans of going AWOL. Desertion is a serious crime."

"I'm well aware of it. Yet I still plan on going." Eastwood continued before in a less professional but more personal tone he said, "I'm well aware we are not permitted to head into Elbe country. But as a solo combatant I will draw no attention. If I die, write me off as a deserter. But If I come back. You can dishonorably discharge me. But I'll be damned before Tuka here goes mad from what that damned oversize reptilian son of a bitch did to her. Do you understand."

Ms. Blanch looked at Eastwood in a fury. But she then pauses and takes a deep breath. "If you were any other soldier. I would have you in the hole and flaying potatoes till your fingers become starch. Very well. You will be given three days before you will be punished more severely."

"I understood. Thank you. Ms. Blanch." Eastwood said with a nod.

"Don't you will be punished severely upon your arrival." Ms. Blanch said before signaling for the MPs to let the scout car pass. "Oh, and Lieutenant. You cannot be seen in that You are not acting on behalf of the Us. Government. Thus, you can't be allowed to wear the uniform of an American soldier."

"Can't exactly go climb over the mountains bear naked. Despite my old Californian pride." Eastwood said half-jokingly.

"Agreed therefor you will remove your uniform and leave it upon your bed. In the meantime, you may use this." Ms. Blanch said before snapping her fingers. The two MP's then present a foot locker. Leaving it by the side of car they then left with Ms. Blanch following after. Curious he gets out and inspects the foot locker. The clothes inside caused him to smile, as if he ran into an old friend.

Taking the foot locker he went inside the garage to change. A few moments later he returned. Wearing an old Mountaineer Uniform. A blue undershirt under a brown fur jacket. Outlining the sides Suspender pouches over his jacket and belt. On the belt is strapped a loaned tetsubo helmet with a camouflage mesh added. Eastwood stretched out the uniform a bit before rubbing his right arm. Their a patch depicting the bear of the 10th Mountaineer division can be seen. He made his way to the car with a skip in his step.

"Hmm, looking good old man." Rory comments.

"Feeling good, hag." Eastwood said before starting up the scout car. With a small stutter, the car roared alive and Eastwood drove it to the front gate. As he drives forward, the old man from before rolls his wheel chair over to where the scout car was. He stares on as the car disappears in the distance.

"Hmmm. I wish you well. Man of four wars." The old man said to himself before being approach by a patrolling soldier.

"Excuse me, old man. This is a restricted area. Please return back to town." The soldier said to the old man.

"No, it's alright." The old man said as he turns the wheel chair around. "I'd like to meet your general. I'd like to discuss some important matters involving a flame dragon within my kingdom."

Hello everybody, Wombag1786 here. Sorry for the slow respond. Those who know me, know that my ability to produce chapters slow extensively during the Summer. (It's the heat or something because I'm always hit with Mental blocks and constant urges to procrastinate.) And now that I'd graduated and looking to get my foot into my dream Career as well as settling my own personal affairs the story has slowed down to a crawl. I do apologies for that and I'm sad to say that it will continue to be like this for a while. Rest assure I am not giving up on the story. It will just take me awhile.

Now, onto questions and comments.

From Perseus12: Johnny Gat approves. Oh god no. You ever saw the south park about Japanese believing that a Dolphin and whale nuked them in WW2? Imagine that but with the world and the sole reason they haven't is because America promises to handle it. Which they have… ish. Well. God help him against the dragon. Cause if that beast doesn't kill him, then his wife will.

Thanks for writing Perseus12.

From Supreme Supra: Already have something Diabolic planned. (Was tempted to sword of Damocles him with a shark while he was taking a shit. But I got an idea from the anime Durarara.)

Thanks for writing Supreme Supra.

From Eddie199: More or less they are trying their hardest to keep them out of their borders. They are sick of war and they hope by ending this as quick as possible they could get the world off their back. With a bonus of being seen less as a reluctant super power and more of a symbol of restraint and fairness in the world community. (That said Shit has a way of turning on it self so expect hell to break loose in upcoming chapters.)

Thanks for writing Eddie19.

From Endragora: Peace is relative. It's more or less a ceasefire. Something similar to 1914 Christmas. They are still at war but due to Pina they agreed to hold off hostilities. And this peace turned into a debate of whether the war should continue or not.

Also, a bit cliché. (No offense but I opened on that phrase in the first chapter) I got something… more diabolical planned.

Thanks for writing Endragora.

From Crimson Weresloth: Give me a rusty spork and I'll have him begging for death in less.

Thanks for writing Crimson Weresloth.

From Avro 683 Lancaster: Yep. Got to say, the beginning part was hard to do and sadly it ended up following the storyline exactly. But At least I ended on a John Marston moment. (Props to Hawtdawg65 for the design)

Heh… funny how you mentioned Nuke's. Spoilers Zorzal should have worn the brown trousers.

Thanks for writing Avro 683 Lancaster.

From Pastymasty123: Thanks. And no. Those who were less problematic were allowed to go. It wasn't till Pina ordered them to stop did they gain their freedom. (I mean they were basically a bunch of children playing at war. And a few months of cleaning the shitter broke them really quick of their façade of war.)

Thanks for writing Pastymasty123.

From Savior16: Yep. Not a lot of Kaiserreich stories which is a shame since it's an amazing concept.

Thanks for writing Savior16.

From Octavio Sumarkho: I am. I find that during the summer I slow down in production of chapters. And now that I have graduated college, I am forced to focus more on getting myself on my own two feet. But rest assure that I am fully intending to finish this story so it may take me awhile but I'll try to post as regularly as possible.

Thanks for writing Octavio Sumarkho.

I do again, apologies for the slow response and quick chapter. It's sad that I can't finish as quickly as I wish, but please do bare with me. Till then please Fav and Fol the story. Leave a comment down bellow and I'll respond in the next chapter.

Till next time, this is Wombag1786 signing off.
