Reading Tea Leaves
a collection of avatar haiku
. helium lost .
Author's Notes: So Vicki So prompted Avatar haiku in the Zutara Chatroom, and I spewed out these ten. There are many different genres mixed in; they're not all confined to, say, angst. Anyway, enjoy—there'll be more to come, I'm sure, as I love writing haiku.
Oh, and the plural of haiku is haiku. Keep that in mind if reviewing :P
Chaki #1
sweetly the cabbage
touches my yearning hands, and
I feel loved again
∙
I don't know why, but
I find Aang quite attractive.
And thus, me—foaming.
∙
scars on the surface
can't even begin to show
the scars inside me…
∙
the soft smell of tea,
dotted with the drops of rain,
tastes of memories…
∙
perfection:
something that hinders
more than helps
∙
with a rush of wind
my fear of flying is gone
and I am free
∙
You may think I'm just
a silly animal, but
I'll take over the world!
∙
Sokka weird.
I sneeze on Sokka.
Sokka green now!
∙
I have only one regret:
Not the killing, none of my actions
but rather, seeing her leave…
∙
I met a demon today
who played a game of hard-to-get with me.
Name's Foofoocuddlypoops.
Author's Notes: As always, any feedback is appreciated :) Constructive criticism is great, too.
