A.N. — I feel it's good to get these quidditch drabbles out of the way in bunches. This one, I stuck in a dead space in the HP calendar known as Final Exams time. It also thins the disproportionate Gryffindor herd somewhat.
153. Demelza Robins
It was a point of pride for Demelza that, even though Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet had graduated, Gryffindor's Chaser line was still all female the following year.
Katie Bell was still there, anchoring the position, mentoring Demelza and fellow Lions newbie Ginny Weasley. And sure, they weren't as cohesive a unit yet as the trio that came before, but that's what practice was for.
Demelza had patiently waited her turn to play, as the Lions had fielded particularly strong teams since she got to Hogwarts. Now, it was her time to prove her mettle and uphold the House's reputation.
