154. Caractacus Burke

Given his business specialized in Dark artefacts, it didn't surprise Borgin when his co-owner dropped dead at work. But it did create some issues.

For one, Burke handled procuring the items; Borgin dealt mostly with the logistics. Burke had said he didn't trust himself to hire anyone after Tom Riddle had gained employment there.

But the most immediate concern was hiding the body.

Burke's death would, unfortunately, have to be kept quiet. It was a 50-50 shot that something they sold had inadvertently killed Burke, and that had to be buried (like poor Burke) so their doors could remain open.
