A/N: I was having trouble deciding what to do with this chapter until the final result felt satisfactory. I'll explain below.

-Aponi's P.O.V.—

I spent years hearing about our ancestors being driven from a land that was rightfully ours. Kalgara, the chief of the time, became friends with a man from below named Montblac Cricket. Those two had an eternal friendship that would've lasted should our land not have been casted to the skies. I don't know what became of Cricket, but I do know we were driven from our homeland and were sent to live on the clouds while those nefarious fiends treated our land as theirs. They called it a holy land. That's our land, there's nothing holy about it.

We have spent years plotting, planning, and learning how to take it back. Even the previous ruler, Gan Fall, failed in that regard. Truthfully some part of me felt it could've happened if Enel had not shown up. Speaking of that so-called god. Enel is basically worse than Gan Fall. At least the old man wasn't a crazy old righteous jerk. During our plotting we found Seastone that will hopefully cancel his powers acuqired after eating the Devil Fruit.

I trained all my life for this and I rather die in combat to help bring down Enel.

So why am I considering listening to this Blue Sea woman? I don't know. I don't trust her despite have been saved by her. She's treating me like I'm not a threat... no she's guarded so still thinks I can do something. Is she taking pity on me? She better not. She knows the current situations, but all she cares about is finding gold and leaving before some goes wrong. It did go wrong for her and her friends. They didn't pay a fine and they defeated a priest.

There was something else that caught my attention. She told me her brother could defeat Enel and that left me suspicious of her. Her brother is the captain of her crew. Whoever he is she seems to think highly of him and fully believed he is able to beat Enel. I wonder if it is because they are related and spent more time with each other.

Right now, she took the Shooters from the fallen woman, you know the footwear made to traverse the white sea, and showed them to me.

"I've seen many people use these. Are they hard to figure out?"

"Learning to ride them could take years." I said. "It takes coordination, balance, and flexibility."

I thought she would ditch them. Well, she proved me wrong. She promptly put them, activated them and started riding them like an unprofessional monkey. She screamed as she hit a tree and fell on her back. I sighed and walked over to her.

"See?"

"I can still do it!" She was acting like a child

"Why?"

"Because they're fun and I thought it would be cool to use them."

"Then if you want to ride them, train more." I scolded at her. "You'll probably catch on quicker since you've been fighting all your life."

"I'll train again." She pouted like a child.

I'm starting to get a little headache from being near her. Sure, she's a good fighter, but these things take time. I watch her get up after taking the Shooters off. She looked around the forest before looking at me. "South is that way, right?"

"Yes."

"Okay." She walked away, leaving me alone in the woods.

"Hey!" I shouted, realizing she left me alone. I winced as I ran, still feeling the pain from being attack from earlier. I caught up to her and grabbed her shoulder. "Why did you leave me? You said to follow you."

"I did, but that was more along the lines of sticking around for a good fight. I thought you would leave to join your tribe in time for the final battle."

"I'm heading to the final battle." I declared. "I don't know why I listened to you." I activated my Shooters. "I'm going to help fight Enel injured or not."

She gave me disappointed look before sighing. "Fine, but on the way. Look out for a guy wearing a strawhat."

I scoffed at her and took off. I don't need to listen to her, nor do I need something hindering my goal. We will win this war! That's a promise.

-Anya-

I did not expect her to come with me. There's nothing else I can do except find the gold and fight against other bastards. I wonder how the rest of the crew is doing. Are Nami, Sanji, and Usopp doing okay? Is Chopper-kun okay? Did Robin find something interesting? Is Zoro lost? Did Luffy end up somewhere strange?

"Grrr?"

Sounds like something wants to eat me. I looked over my shoulder and… huh? I fully faced the creature with a surprised and confused expression on my face. It was some kind of tiger with black and white fur and long legs. I mean they were three times longer than an average tiger. Must be another animal that had to adapt to the island.

"Aren't you interesting." I said with smile. It did look cute. "What are you?" I snapped my fingers. "I know I'll call him Pandger."

I think it felt insulted, because it started charging right at me. I leapt away as it tried to bite me and ducked under a swipe of the claw.

"I can't play with you!" I took out my shield. "Leave me alone!" I slammed my shield across the face at the beast, knocking it out. I grimaced at it being knocked out completely and walked up to it. "Hmm." I looked behind me toward my destination. "I wonder what I can do?"

-Aponi-

I made my way across the forest while not thinking about tha… no let me rephrase that. I maneuvered across the forest while thinking about my family. I wondered how the rest of the tribe was. Is everyone okay? Did Enel find them? Damn, the pain is catching up to me.

I stopped and sat on a tree while trying to nurse my wound. It still hurts, but I need to keep going. To be of use to the others. That's what I'm going to do.

"Aponi!"

Hearing my name and the familiarly of the voice made me smile. I stood up just as Wyper landed on the branch beside me. I can see he was in a battle and obviously won.

"Wyper, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, my opponent seemed to have ran off, but it's not important." He looked at his hand. "I need to preserve my strength. Are you well?"

"Only bruised, but I'll manage."

"Come on,"

I nodded and two of us moved along the jungle. It won't be long now, soon we will face Enel and finish this.

-Anya-

"WEEEEEE!" I cheered as I rode Pandger across the forest. She was much faster than I was aware of. I'll be able to get there before anyone else. Yeah! My animal companion and I continued our journey across the forest.

Then again... I think I'm going in a different direction again. I am going south, but is this really the right way? Did the girl really point me in the right direction? Am I going to end up somewhere not right?

I could hear skirmishes left and right, but I commanded Pandger to avoid them as much as possible. As much as I like to fight, I need to find my friends.

After a while I spotted someone further away. The closer I got the more familiar she was. Even if it's her, she is still a familiar face.

"ROBIN!"

She turned around just as I stopped my companion. I got off, petted the girl and told her to leave. She obliged and ran away.

"Miss Dragoon." She greeted with a smile. I can tel she has been through a fight with the scratche on her body and torn clothes. "I don't doubt you were in a fight."

"I brought a prize." I held up the Shooters. "I'm calling them 'Dragoons'."

"Dragoons?"

"You saw how they work." I explained. "They held you jump higher, move faster and do all sorts of tricks."

"Hmm." She looked to be in deep thought, probably thinking of some way to turn into a dark humor smarty pants.

"What?"

"I didn't think you were the type to rely on anything, but your own strength."

My eyebrow twitched at that. I looked down at the skates and back at her. My eyes widen as a I remembered both Gramps and my Master swimming across the sea at speeds most people would baffle at.

"I just want to have fun in them." I sighed. "It did give my more inspiration for training." I patted my legs. "I'm lighter and faster on my feet than my brother, but these guys showed me I have a lot to learn. These are for training than relying on them."

"Oh." She smiled. "Here I was worried you wouldn't show me women are stronger than they look."

"I know you're being a smartass."

"I am older."

I frowned. I thought about something witty about her age, youth, and other things, but decided against. Master told me women don't like it when asked me about their youth and the number of years they live.

"Whatever." I scoffed. "What are you doing?"

"Would you like to come with me?"

"Sure, I found you and… my brother and Zoro would come out of nowhere eventually."

"They do seem like the types to be where they are truly needed."

"Yeah, for all I know they're right in the thick of whatever pinch they are in. So, let's go."

-later-

Sometime later, Robin and I came across a beanstalk and bunch of ruins. I was more marveled at the beanstalk than the ruins that Robin adored… no she's a ruins maniac. She looked around them, took notes while I waited around for something interesting. I followed her inside the ruin where she looked at me and smiled.

"Can you help me dig?"

I nodded at her. "Is it safe?"

"If the cloud collapses, we'll fall to our deaths."

A pregnant pause later, and calling her a jackass, I dug all the way to the bottom. What good is adventure if it's not dangerous. During the dig I was making sure to poke a hole in the cloud to see if there was surface or air. Robin was with me so we can fall to our deaths or use her powers to stop us from falling.

Fortunately, we discovered another room within the ruins. We jumped down and walked through the newly discovered ruins. The top portion was laid bare while the rest was covered in cloud. It's cool and mysterious. We traveled through interior until we came across a magnificent city. A golden city of the ancients. Seeing this brought goosebumps, it was as if we're visiting another world entirely inside another world. Despite it being covered with vegetation, it was still a magnificent site.

"Anya."

I blinked at my name being called. I looked at her, noticing a serious look on her face. There's no humor, nothing indicating that she was hiding something. She must've noticed her slip and shook her head.

"What do you know about the Void Century?"

"It's a blank period." I never really delved into it. I'm not much of a history person, but I wondered why that is.

"This is the Golden City, Shandora. An ancient city lost to time for 800 years."

"800 years…"

"It fell right around the time of the void century." She started walking. "Then the formation of the World Government."

"I've heard of the twenty kings." I followed after her. "They were the losers who started the World Government."

"Did you know Miss Wednesday's ancestors were among the twenty kings?"

"What?" No way, Vivi's family were one of the so called 'creators' of the world? Did she know? Of course, she did.

"Her family declined to go to Mariejois and stayed in Alabasta."

"That's a relief, if they went, we wouldn't have Vivi and I would have despised her."

"That's if she would be physically the same."

"True." That's a bombshell, I didn't know about that. Vivi, I respect you more."

She did not say more, she continued to observe the ruins. I stayed silent and just followed her. When she's like this she seemed more focus and not as distant. It's like I'm seeing the real her more and more. We eventually came across a large stone tablet. Robin called it a poneglyph, something she's been searching for all her life in order to find out the truth of the world. Apparently, there are more of these all over the world.

"The people of this city fought against an enemy to protect this poneglpyh." She turned moved away from the large stone.

"You're saying most of the people perished to protect this?" I followed after her.

"Yes, this tells the truth."

"Shouldn't there be books or something with history?"

"They would be burned up by now. All of it. That's what the Government does."

I guess that makes sense. You don't want everybody knowing the dirty truth.

"The poneglyph informs about the belfry. The Golden Bell should be around here."

"Right, then we can ring it and let old Diamond Head know."

We walked through the deserted city, that once upon a time was active. Thanks again World Government. Need a people to eradicate, call your local office to annihilate people you don't like. Stuff like this is not for me to think about. Even if I have a very low opinion of the current bosses.

"Look cart rails."

I stopped and looked down at the tracks before me."

"Huh? Interesting. Are they ancient too?"

"No." Robin eyed it. "They have been added recently, possibly to move something."

"Yahahahaha, correct."

I reached for my spear as we both whipped around to face against a strange looking man with some strange symbol drums attached to his back somehow. He was shirtless, not hot because of his long stupid dangling ears. He had strange ceremonial pants and was barefoot. His face looked like… great he's acting so dignified that he thinks so highly of himself. Did I mention his stupid long dangling ears? He's just sitting there juggling an apple like he doesn't care at all.

"Isn't it amazing?" He spoke all proper and annoying like. "The city has kept its uniqueness after being sent to the sky." He took a bite of his apple. "This unfortunate city was hidden in the clouds and not admired by a single soul. It was me who discovered them." Congratulations. "The ones before me had no idea it existed."

"Don't you look happy? Another priest?" I asked while getting ready to attack.

"No…" He smiled sinisterly. "You've heard of me spear woman. You fought one of my priests. I am God Enel."

I froze and my mouth started to go dry. This was… this is him? "Di..did you send ray of…"

"Yes, I sent that thunder blast earlier in the town."

Lightning... I can't beat him. This is a poor matchup because he is a logia. I am not prepared to fight one of the elements. Smoker was one thing, Ace is another and Croco you could get water, but lightning. Ugh, now that I fully see his face, there is something unnerving. Just like those haughty nobles. He really thinks he is better than us. H-he's not. No I can't be afraid of him, but I need to be cautious against his type.

"Congratulations spear woman for facing the trial and living. At the moment you're safe, but right now… I'll get to that in a moment."

He talked about finding the gold and how many months it took him and his followers. He congratulated Robin in her ability to read the writings. He also said the gold was gone, used it for his own plans.

"Did you take the Golden Bell?" asked Robin while maintaining her composure.

He did not answer right away, probably doesn't know about it. Interesting. Was it moved?

"The Shandia people were proud of the bell and the belfry, but the belfry was all I'm interested in. It's here." He smiled in a twisted sort of way. Yes, I'm being biased. He thinks he's so high and mighty. He talked about when the island was blown to the Upper Yard 400 years ago the bell rang throughout the island. Apparently, the elders called it the Song of the Island. Oh, and he is fascinated about the bell made of gold. I bet he' is going use it buy a giant throne for his ego and laugh like a moron.

"Well then… as soon as this game is over, I will look around the bell. That's in eight minutes."

"A game?"

"Yes." He glanced at me. "You fought against a priest in training and let a Shandia go."

My eyes widen in shock. How? "How do you know?"

"I know everything. I am God."

No… he's just… using something to do something. I looked toward Robin who seemed a little unnerved by his declaration.

"In less than 8 minutes it will be over and the ones remaining will join me." He perked up. "Oh? An insect reached the edge of the island."

The hairs on my neck started to rise up as lightning crackled around him. This the power of fruit users who wield the elements. The fourth time I've seen some with a logia and this one is the most terrifying. He raised his hand and blast of lightning shot up from him. The blast enveloped him like a spotlight as it carved a hole through the cloud above and struck something above. The blast then flew elsewhere as if it was finding a target.

"That was!" Robin shouted.

"You bastard!" I roared at him. "Who are aiming for?"

"As I said, an insect at the edge." He said as if was just an average thing and nothing terrifying. Also, I invited your friends fighting above. They're coming here to Shandora!" He finished with his disgusting laughter.

Friends? Who was fighting above? People were fighting above the beanstalk.

"TSLAHAHAHA!" That snake was there? I grabbed Robin's hand and we ran to avoid falling debris.

"THE FINAL ACT WILL NOW COMMENCE!" He laughed a general jackass

Robin and I got away far enough to watch a ton of debris and a giant snake fall to the clouds in front of us. It was like some knocked over one big jenga. As soon as everything was finished falling, we walked over to see the piece of large stones and other junk. Man, all he did was carve a hole and damage the cloud to cause this.

"If I had known I would've gone." Robin said. "I hope they aren't damaged too much."

"First we have to see who was here. Last I check Zoro, Luffy, and Chopper-kun were with us."

"Or the other three were abducted to use as bait."

"I'm going to have to get use to you."

The large chuck of debris in front of us started moving. We heard a grunt as well… that grunt sounded familiar too. Then the chunk was thrown off easily and out popped Zoro and Chopper-kun. Wait Chopper is injured?

"I ALMOST DIED!" He shouted as he threw the rock away. "Damn rock."

"A… a normal person would've died." Robin stared at him with shock.

"Nobody on this crew is normal." I chuckled. "Zoro!"

He finally noticed us. "Oh… it's you two."

"Don't act like I'm a stranger moss head." I scolded him.

"Don't act like the love cook." Zoro scoffed. "Where am I?"

"The city of Gold." Said Robin. "But there is no gold. It's gone."

"Forget that." I rushed over to Chopper and gasped at his wound. "What happened to him." I knelt down to observe him. Damn who did this?

"Don't worry I took out the one who got him."

"If you didn't then I would and he's doctor." I wasn't sure how deep the wound was. "I know basic first aid, we need a lot of tape."

"Then he'll be better." Said Zoro.

"I don't think that's how it works." Commented Robin.

"TSULALALALALALA!" The giant snake caught our attention when it raised its head from the ground and looked around.

"What's it doing?" Robin asked.

"It better not attack." Grumbled Zoro.

I watched the snake look around the area like if it's searching for something. Then it started to... cry?

"TSULALALALALA!" The cry was… it sounded passionate. It was like the snake found something it was searching for all its life. The snake found… was it home?

I gasped when lightning dance above it and then struck it with prejudice!

"NAMI!" shouted Zoro.

"Nami?" I gasped, then realization struck. "WAS SHE IN THERE?!"

"Zoro! Robin! Anya!" I stumbled forward and looked right next to me, standing in my blind spot, was that orange haired rascal. Nami was right there all along.

"Nami?" I gasped

"HOW DID YOU GET OUT!?" Zoro shouted in anger.

"She's fine, there's no need to be rude."

"How did you get there Miss Navigator?"

"Never mind that, Luffy is…" She facepalmed. "Is still in there."

I blinked and looked at the fallen snake. I stared at it for a hard second before laughing. "He got himself in there?! That's funny."

"HOW DID HE GET IN THERE!?" Zoro yelled for the second time. "And why are you okay with that?" He asked me.

"He is my brother." I said as if it was the only answer to life."

He glared hard at me and I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Even he didn't know how he got there."

"You!" I blinked, looked around and saw… Aponi? She looked even worse than usual. All burnt and cut in different places. She's standing there holding her arm.

"Hi." I waved at her.

-Aponi-

It's her again and she found her friends. I guess I should've known I would see her again.

You see. After I left, I met up with Wyper where we discussed what to do next. After getting a new weapon, we rushed over to the top of the beanstalk where we fought against many of Enel's minions. There were others there such as the King of the Sky, Anya's green haired friend, and Gan Fall. Many fell and I managed to take down a few people before a giant burst of lightning erupted and destroyed the battlefield.

I somehow lived and we ended up in a place I only heard in stories. Our home. The place that was take from us. I walked around, observed the new scene, before seeing that lightning struck the giant snake. Then I came across her and her friends.

"Hi." She waved at me.

"Hn." I scoffed at her. "You're here?"

"Yes."

"You know this woman?" the green haired swordsman questioned her. "She was just as annoying as the others."

"She's cool."

"You don't even know me!" I shouted. "I attacked your friend."

"And he still here!" She patted him on the back. He grumbled at her as he didn't take his eyes off me.

"ENEL!" That was Wyper! Our attention turned to Enel dodging Wyper's Burn Bazooka, then summoned a ball shaped cloud as he laughed at his attempts to strike him.

"What was that for? Is that anyway to return the favor of bringing you back to your homeland."

That bastard. He thinks he's doing us a service by bring us back to the place where our ancestors were forced from.

"Besides, the game is not over." Game? He thinks this is a game? "You and the others are contestants of my game." Every word he says is disgusting. "The goal is simple. It's a survivor game. Not to worry I am also a contestant. I allowed others to join. My prediction is there will be five survivors." Five? There are more than five. What is he up to? "3 hours after the Shandia entered the island there were 82 people. Now there are… hmm… eight survivors. As a god my prediction is never wrong."

Eight… so he wants us to fight each other for his sick twisted game?

"So…" He stared at us. "Who will be eliminated. Will you do it yourselves or should I."

I winced as I got down on one knee. I'm too injured to keep fighting.

What's going to happen? What are we going to do?

"Hey." That was green haired swordsman. I looked at him expecting something, but his attention was on the black-haired woman and Anya. The three of them were close and they seem to understand each other. "You want to?"

"No, thank you." said the black-haired woman.

"I decline." Anya took out her spear and shield.

The man nodded and looked forward. "Me neither."

"Not me." Wyper said.

"I refuse." Even Ganfall? That made me want to say something, I gathered up the courage to say it.

"I won't."

Wyper looked me and his look told me to stay down. I did so and I don't know what would happen next. They all looked toward the orange haired who looked insulted and scared they looked at her.

"I'm not doing anything!" She shouted in indignation. It almost scared me. I looked at each of them as they stared at Enel with a look of contempt. They raised their hand/bazooka/lance/spear/sword at Enel and in unison said.

"You will."

That brought a smile to me, it seemed to be something Enel never predicted. He looked at them with annoyance and said.

"Impudence." Then he laughed a for bit before stopping. "You're going to eliminate me? I wouldn't expect less from survivors, but." He leered at everyone. "Do you have any idea who I am? What a god is?

Sure, I know what you are. Someone who takes lives. Someone who carried on the atrocities against my people.

"An old man who seeks happiness for the land, warriors whose fight for lives to reclaim their 'homeland', and outsiders from below seeking gold. There are too many lambs in this world, including this country that have sinned."

"You are speaking nonsense!" the old man shouted angrily. "What are trying to accomplish and where are you keep the militia?"

"I wish to return." Return? What does Enel mean. "There is a place I wish to go, somewhere here. A place where people say God lives. People call it Fairy Vearth, the amount of Earth is unlimited."

That what he wants? He continues that it's a world he wishes to live. That what we fought for centuries is nothing compared to what he seeks. He talks about this country shouldn't in the sky and about philosophy. He talks about philosophy. That doesn't matter. He used all of us for his game and all it seems like we fought for nothing. He says what he wants to destroy this county.

No, but… what about my people. I don't care about the others, but those are his people. He's sacrificing his people, our people just so he can send this entire island to the seas as if it's the law of nature. But what if the law says it's okay for this island to be here?

"DON'T THINK SO HIGHLY OF YOURSELF! God is nothing, but a title for this country." Gan Fall was just as angry

Enel looked on smugly. "That's before I came."

"A god doesn't live in this mortal plane; he lives beyond that."

"I too will do such a thing." This man is… terrible, crazy. "Gan Fall, previous god. You're wondering where the militia who lost to my men six years ago are? All 650 follows?"

I swallowed spit. He'll say something terrible, something that I know I don't want to hear.

"This morning they finished their job. Remember what I said earlier. There are only eight of us."

My eyes widen and I looked toward Gan fall. He was startled, shocked and dismayed. Gan Fall had learned his followers may have been given a tragic end and Enel further mocked that their families needed burials.

"YOU FIEND!" Ganfall shouted and launched himself at him with lance ready to strike. However, it… was meaningless. Enel dodged and simply struck him down with a powerful volt of lightning.

"Gan fall." Enel preached just as the old man fell over. "The only world that deserves to be called god… is me.

"You bastard." Anya growled.

"That's a Devil Fruit." The swordsman said.

"The Goro Goro Fruit." Said the black-haired woman. "One of the invincible powers. The Power of Lightning."

"Impossible." quivered the orange haired woman. "How can we win against that?"

"Don't worry." Anya said. "We need to hold on long enough for Luffy to get here." She looked toward the snake. "He better find his way out."

"You think so?" the black-haired woman asked.

"I've seen him live through one without a scratch." Anya smirked at her. "So, trust me when I say this is one of those times where this is his perfect match.

"Hmm." Enel muttered. "I'm never wrong," He looked toward us. "Though that means I can become truly powerful from this." He chuckled. "Then again, I can use a few extras. Congratulations on making it here. You all shall follow me. Once we are on Fairy Vearth we shall crate a new world."

Is he insane? He still thinks we'll follow him after all this? He goes on about how he'll create new jobs with those chosen and that who previously followed him were unfit and shall remain here. Every part of my being wants to run. Wants to go back before… no wished this never happened. We're being used and at the mercy of this mad man.

"What if we refuse?" Huh? The black-haired woman said something.

Her… rebellious statement seemed to annoyed Enel. "Why? I already decided. If you stay, you'll fall in the abyss."

"It's possible with your power. However, the thing you want will also fall."

"The Golden Bell." Wait what? "YAHAHAHA! You have nothing to worry about. Your early adventures gave me a conclusion. I know just where the bell is."

The woman was shocked. She thought maybe he wouldn't do it just because of the bell. He noticed it too.

"Surprised? You can't trick me. Don't underestimate me." He frowned further and raised his finger. "I hate shallow women."

"ROBIN!" Anya and the orange woman shouted as a bolt of lightning struck… Robin. She never stood a chance. She was falling over before the green haired man caught her. He looked down at her as if looking like he lost a friend and then showed fury at Enel.

"She's a woman."

"Yes? And?"

"Shallow woman." Anya growled. "I'M JUST AS SHALLOW AS THEY COME!" Anya blitzed at him and struck his staff with her spear.

"Shallow." He smirked at her. "No… feisty."

"Shut up! You think you're so strong? You're nothing compared to the idiots below. They are stronger than you, those who counter your power. I can name three. Akainu, Kizaru, and Aokoji. They have weird powers just like you. They can and will make you beg for mercy."

He sounded annoyed. "Are you done?"

"Plus, there is someone that is immune to your lightning. You miscalculated mister supreme dorkel."

"ANYA!" the orange haired woman cried. "Stop."

"Then." Lightning started to emerge. "You go."

Anya looked toward me with a smile on a face. A smile that unnerved me. It was like she thinks she's going to die… no embracing it.

"Remember what I said okay? Stick around."

Then flash of lightning erupted. The swordsman and the orange haired woman shouted at their friend as she too was struck down. Why the hell did you do that? What were you trying to proof and why am I crying?

"You're starting to piss me off!" The swordsman raced forward with his swords out.

I don't want to watch anymore. I felt helpless against him. I staggered over to where the orange haired woman was and fell on my butt. I- I couldn't do this anymore. I ignored the rest of the battle and just sat there, alone in my thoughts. It's… over. We lost. There is nothing I can do except pray they he would send us off to oblivion quickly. There was no one that can beat him. No one.

-later-

-Luffy—

Finally! After a long time, I'm finally out of that stupid snake. We didn't have to become poop to do it. Just go out through the mouth, simple right? Shishishi. I rushed up the stairs of some building, took a deep breath and shouted.

"FREEDOM! YEAH!" I looked around. "Are these ruins? Amazing! I wonder what kind of interesting things are here. Is the bell here!"

"If that's true." The girl Aisa said. "Then this is our homeland."

Homeland? Don't know, don't care. This is interesting. Oh, is that hole and… are there people there. Looks like a battle… wait… something familiar is there. I got bad feeling about this, so I jumped down the building and rushed to the hole. Something terrible happened here. I got closer and spotted the first downed person was… no… not him. I rushed bent down and shook him.

"Zoro! What happened?!" He's out. How did this happen? Who did this? I searched around for other bodies. Robin! The old man, Chopper and… no Anya! I rushed over to her and quickly scooped her up. "Anya…" She couldn't hear me. She was out cold, burnt and scratched up. What happened? Who did this to you? Who did this to everyone? "You and Zoro wouldn't let this happen. Both of you wouldn't let this jackass cause this much damage." Damn it. I should've been here with you all to help. What kind of brother am I? As captain it is my responsibility to send the jerk flying.

"WYPER!" I looked next to me at the hole nearby. I gently set down my sister and walked over to the hole. I found Aisa crying over Bazooka Guy. Him too? "Who did this?"

"It was Enel! He's the one who did this!" She screamed at me.

Enel, the guy claiming to be God? He did this?

"Ugh." Someone is waking up? I looked around and noticed Robin stirring. I ran and placed her on her back. "Robin what happened?"

"He took…. Miss Navigator an.."

"He took Nami?" He took Nami away? That bastard! "Where too?"

"No… idea. Listen, Enel plans… to sink Skypiea beneath the clouds."

"He wants to destroy this place?" That's not good. He's going to destroy this fun place for no reason… if he does then that's no excuse! Wait. "What about the gold? The bell?"

"He's... planning to come…. back… for it."

"I see." Aisa looked to her left. "I hear three voices."

"Three? Nami and Enel." I growled, but then thought of something. "He took a third person?"

"Another girl was… with us… Nami persuaded Enel to take… her."

"Why? You know what? Who cares!" I stood up. I'm really pissed now. "Aisa, take me there."

-Aponi—

I can't believe I went with them. Enel took them out and was about to take us out until Nami, the orange haired woman, told him we'd join him. At that point I couldn't do anything, so I accepted and went with him. As of now I'm sitting at the front of the ship and looking at him as he talks about nonsense. His plan is dangerous, he is dangerous? I looked up at him and noticed that his happy look was replaced by an annoyed look. He looked to the direction where we came from.

"Who is that?" He walked over to the edge of the ship. "Someone else is here."

Someone else? Maybe... no. I need to do something. I stood up carefully and looked toward him. He was looking down at something.

"My prediction was off earlier, I wasn't happy then, but now I'm furious. Where did you come from?"

"ARE YOU ENEL!"

I have no idea who that is, I looked toward Nami who recognized that voice. She rushed over and shouted. "LUFFY!"

Luffy? Wait I heard them mention it earlier. Anya's brother. He's here? He was in the snake. I wobbled over and leaned against the edge of the railing and saw a boy standing there, glaring up at Enel. He was wearing a strawhat. Yes, that's Anya's brother and according to her only he can defeat Enel. But how? What ability does he have to fight him?

"My friends, what did you do?" He said with authority?

"Are you talking about the other pieces of trash?" He leered at him with that terrifying glance. "Show respect to me, boy. I am God.

"What makes you think you are god?"

This boy is bold, to challenge Enel like that. There is something about him. I don't know what it is, but it kind of reminds of her in a way, but different.

"Luffy beca-." Nami shut herself up as Enel gave her a cold stare. I shivered under his presence.

He turned his attention back to Luffy. "Yahaha! I hear the angels; the citizens now know their fate of Skypiea. No matter where they run it's too late."

"HEY JACKASS!" He shouted. "I SAID WHAT MAKES YOU GOD!?"

Damn, he got Enel to twitch at that, then he started climbing up the boat to fight by… are his arms growing longer? He grown arms helped swing himself onto the propeller. Wait did he eat one of those fruits? Just what is he?

"I see…" Enel smirked. "You're not a normal man. However, are you of someone in higher ranking. No matter what." I gasped as he charged up his lighting. " I AM ABOVE MERE MORTALS!" HE shouted as he launched blast of lightning.

Nami screamed out to him just as I covered my face to avoid the light in my eyes. He seemed to have screamed when being struck. After the lightning faded, I uncovered my eyes slowly. I saw the huge gaping hole in the way and… huh? I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was not seeing things. That's him. He's standing right in front of Enel, completely fine and confused. Did he dodge?

"You're better than I thought." Enel said as he twirled his staff and beat the drums behind him. "NOT THIS TIME!"

He sent dragon made of lightning toward Luffy and this time it hit him, but… it did nothing. He's standing there like nothing happened. What's going on?"

Enel shot toward him, grabbed him and at point black sent a bolt of lightning through him.

"What's going… on."

"So that's what she meant."

"Huh?" I looked toward Nami who smirked.

"Luffy is immune to lightning because his body is made of rubber."

"What's rubber?"

She seemed surprised at my question, but calmed down. "I'll tell you later."

"GET OFF YOU ANNOYING PRICK!" Luffy punched the man away. I looked on as he managed to land on his feet. I snorted as his changed demeanor…. You know what. For the first time in a while, I started to chuckle. I'm so used to his calm and sinister face because the expression he is making right now is one pure, unadulterated shock. I swear I saw boogers hanging from his nose and viewed all his teeth.

Luffy yelled a battle cry and launched himself at Enel. With one kick he sent Enel flying away. Now Enel is the one on the ground while someone else is standing on top.

"Enel's powers have no effect on Luffy." Nami informed me. "Rubber is a substance we have back home and he ate Devil Fruit that gave him that ability."

"This rubber is only thing that's going to help him win?"

"Yes, because Luffy is Enel's natural enemy."

"Natural huh?" I smiled for the first time. This is what she meant huh. "She knew all this time."

"Yep, so now." Nami grasped my shoulder. "Let's watch a good show."

I nodded. Just maybe we can finally be free of this monster and find peace in our home. Was it fate these people from the Blue Sea came here at this time or coincidence? Who knows, but right now I will witness Enel's downfall.

A/N: There you have it. With this chapter I wasn't sure what to do with Anya. Should I have her join Zoro in a free for all, stuck with Luffy or be with Robin. In the end she ended up with Robin. I didn't want to write the fights entirely which is why I switched over to Luffy before Enel beat the rest and ended the chapter before he fights Enel.

Aponi is another OC for the sole fact I didn't want it to be from entirely Anya's perspective. You see her reaction to Luffy striking Enel. After that she's stuck on Skypiea. If Oda decides to bring the sky islanders back for something like a final war for either One Piece or taking down the World Government then she'll return.

We all know war is going to happen. Maybe not for One Piece, but for the world. Whatever Roger and others found on Laugh Tale is something that will send a shockwave through the world. Everyone might get involved... except Gaimon. You know that guy in the treasure chest way back in East Blue. I don't see him getting involved. Where is Gin?

Next chapter they leave the island. Then maybe another chapter before we get to original arc.

Also I'm skipping Davy Back Fight except for when they meet Aokoji. It still occurred, but it will take placed after Luffy beats Foxy. After that a chapter either about Anya and Luffy's past or something else. Then we will get to Water 7.
