A.N. — Today is when the third year time turner adventure happens, but all the players involved in that have their spots reserved elsewhere. So, here is the spouse (loathe though I am to acknowledge it, and The Cursed Child in general) of yesterday's character. Consequently, this drabble owes more to fanon than canon.
157. Astoria Greengrass
Daphne Greengrass was known as Slytherin's ice queen. Her sister Astoria, though, had a quite bubbly personality. It grieved Daphne that Astoria's desire to follow her to the snake den was slowly crushing that bright, carefree spirit.
As the younger sister, Astoria was afforded more freedom than Daphne. She was just expected to mind her manners and uphold the Greengrass name. There was no arranged marriage hanging over Astoria's future, unlike Daphne.
The cutthroat nature of Slytherin was jading Astoria. It killed Daphne inside that she couldn't protect Astoria from her joy and naiveté being held prisoner by Slytherin's dungeon.
