Reno felt his anger drain away at the unexpected sight of her dancing on his balcony.
Her dress was drenched from the torrential rain and plastered to her skin—the sight was mesmerising. Suddenly, her eyes flickered towards him, brightening as she caught his gaze.
He slid the door open.
"C'mon, Turkey!" she exclaimed giddily, laughing with reckless abandon.
"Aren't you lookin' for a husband?" he asked gruffly.
An unusually sombre expression flashed across her face for a split second. "Told 'im to go fuck himself."
A chuckle burst low in his throat.
She pulled him into the pouring rain.
