A.N. — I wanted some flashy names to add to my character tags, after the last two didn't afford me the chance. So, I went with one that transcends Harry Potter canon.
160. Merlin
Merlin would be horrified to find out all the things wizards swore by in his name. "Merlin's beard!" was merely the tamest.
In reality, he'd been a gangly youth blessed with bountiful power. Physically and socially awkward, it took him most of his lifetime to grow into the magical behemoth he became. History would remember Merlin's triumphs and tragedies, consigning his true self to history's forgotten pages. That fuzz, brought about by the passing centuries, built a myth out of a man.
That sheepish teen would blush at his future notoriety... and certainly at "Merlin's saggy left..." uttered in vain.
