Reno's clothes were splattered in crimson and as the door creaked open, he saw the last person he wanted to see—her. Yuffie's curious gaze flittered past his face and down his chest before flickering back up.
"Long day?" she asked, an eyebrow raised.
"Like you wouldn't fuckin' believe," he responded, his voice raspy—tired.
Part of him was sure she would turn around and run.
Instead, she crossed her arms in front of her with a scoff. "I'm not doing your stupid laundry."
He felt his lips quirk upwards, warmth blooming in his chest.
"Didn't expect you to, dipshit."
