The newlyweds spent the rest of Hogwarts' winter recess honeymooning at Malfoy Manor.
Draco would have preferred an alternate setting but Harriet had wanted to be near her nest.
Severus and Lily had wanted to stay close to their daughter.
The location didn't matter all that much, Draco and Harriet were happy about merely being together and no longer having to spend their nights in lonely separation.
As much as Harriet's energy levels allowed, the couple would make love whenever their kisses became overheated or their simple touches a bit too yearning.
Draco delighted in his new wife, although the sheer act of their coupling wasn't what brought him the most pleasure.
Every night, as Harriet lay cuddled on Draco's chest, he turned his head and nuzzled softly into her hair.
While Harriet snoozed, Draco would take a deep breath, inhale his mate's scent, and drift off to sleep.

Harriet's school uniform soon became too small for her changing form.
Lily used her wand, a needle, and some thread to adjust her daughter's shirts and skirts until Harriet could comfortably follow Hogwarts' dress code.
Unless the day was particularly warm, Harriet tried to keep her school robes on at all times to cover up her rounded belly.
As the second semester of their seventh year progressed along with his mate's pregnancy, it made Draco frown to see Harriet trying to hide the evidence of their little one.
To her chagrin, he often came up to her and placed his hands lovingly on her swollen abdomen.
Harriet would have slapped his eager palms away, but the soft smile of reverent awe that she saw on her alpha's face filled her with joy and patience.
It was a known but unspoken fact that Draco and Harriet had begun sharing a bed at Hogwarts.
If the teachers had heard the news, they had said nothing to the couple.
After Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy had returned to school as husband and wife, the Room of Requirement had appeared to them every day, complete with a cozy bed, refreshments, and all of the things that Harriet would need in order to build a comfortable, alternate nest.
Draco cracked his eyes open early one morning and blinked at the first rays of sunlight that streamed in through the windows.
He sighed to himself as he attempted to internalize the comforting warmth generated by having Harriet next to him.
"...Draco?" She asked groggily.
He could hear the exhaustion in her voice as he glanced down at her.
"Go back to sleep, love." Draco whispered while he sweetly kissed Harriet's forehead, "We don't have to be up for another half hour."
Harriet sighed to herself and closed her eyes.
Draco felt his bride relax against him a second later as she returned to her restful sleep.
He held Harriet close while a soft smile crossed his lips.
Draco didn't care what anyone said or thought about him, his choices, or his life.
Finally, he had learned what true happiness felt like after years of languishing in tormentful pining.
As he thought, he felt a violent torrent of motion against his ribs and blinked as he moved a hand down to Harriet's belly.
He smirked proudly after he splayed his fingers over the mound and noticed his little one moving as he or she woke to greet the new day.
Draco didn't care that their parents believed they were too young to welcome a pup.
He had made up his mind to be the best father he could possibly be.
What would stop him?
Of course Draco would love his child unconditionally.
His son or daughter would be a precious gift given to him by his darling wife.

That same morning, in the early hours of the new day, before Severus's presence would be demanded at the castle, he found himself on his knees behind his mate.
He and Lily were locked in a hungry kiss as she knelt in front of him, with her back against his chest.
Severus cradled one of his beloved's massive breasts in his palm. He used his other hand to spread his fingers possessively over her belly as he rolled his hips and angled himself to let his manhood brush the place inside his mate he knew would make her feel best.
"Ooohhhh, SSSEEVVV!" Lily cried as he increased his pace.
He released her belly from his grasp and allowed his hand to wander down to her dark curls.
Lily bucked her hips when the soft pads of Severus's fingers found the swollen bundle of nerves at the crest of her womanhood.
After Severus began to stroke her in time with his thrusts, he grit his teeth as he felt his wife welcome him into her body further as her peak approached.
He couldn't hold back his own excitement as he felt Lily twitch around his fingers and manhood while she cried out, "S-...SSSSSEEEVVVV!"
Severus closed his eyes as Lily threw her head back.
Her scream turned into a shriek as his own release began.
At the height of their passion, he clamped down on her collarbone to nibble his flower through her blinding peak.
Lily gasped as she opened her emerald eyes wide.
The aftershocks coursed through her body while she felt Severus empty himself inside of her.
As his incredible bliss ended, Severus apologetically licked at the mark his teeth had made on Lily's delicate flesh.
"That felt lovely, Sev," Lily sighed as she started to sink down onto the mattress of her nest.
"Will you forgive the roughness, my love? You nearly drove me mad." Severus asked as he eased himself from his mate and helped Lily onto her cushion of comfy pillows and soft covers.
"Are you talking about the bite?" Lily asked her mate with a laugh.
Severus's dark eyes softened with remorse as he frowned down at his lover.
"Oh, Sev, you know I'm not that delicate!" Lily chuckled, "I actually rather enjoyed it, I must say………perhaps you can give me another sometime."
A glimmer of excitement flashed through Severus's dark eyes for a moment.
Lily giggled as she watched him lay down next to her and make himself comfortable.
"Perhaps I should stay with you today, my love." Severus whispered as he curled close to Lily, "Or take you with me, you can rest in my unused chambers."
"No, you need to go and teach the children." Lily said as she yawned, "And I need to stay here with the boys. Your mother can't come over constantly. Besides, this is my home, Sev, it's where I feel most at ease."
"Then why have you agreed for us to be guests at Malfoy Manor when our grandchild arrives?" Severus scowled.
Lily blinked at her alpha for a moment.
It had been an unfortunate fact that the Snapes' humble cottage had become too small for the amount of children preparing to enter the family.
After Harriet and Draco's marriage, Lucius and Narcissa had insisted that their daughter-in-law move into the spacious, grand manor and prepare a nursery for the next Malfoy there, in their family home.
Harriet had become distraught at the thought of facing motherhood away from her parents, but Lily had quickly assured her they would come and stay around the time of the birth.
The notion had upset Severus, who knew that his own pup was scheduled to arrive nearly simultaneously.
"Because our daughter needs her mother." Lily frowned at Severus.
As he gazed at Lily, the chill of the early morning air hardened her sensitive nipples.
It was all Severus could do to keep his eyes focused on his wife's face instead of her delicious little nubs.
"I've been through this a few times before, Sev." Lily chuckled, "Harriet hasn't."
Severus could smell his mate's milk while she spoke.
The tantalizing scent made his stomach growl as they laid there.
Lily's green eyes brightened at the sound.
Slowly, she raised her hands.
Severus noticed the arousal that shot through his groin when he noticed his wife guided him to her heavy breasts.
Wordlessly, he gladly latched on and began to suckle his darling fiercely as Lily laid her head back and sighed.
"Hopefully our little one will hasten or delay their arrival." Lily cooed as she felt Severus empty her.
Her hands snaked into his raven-black hair as he took his first bit of breakfast for the day while Lily added, "I have no intention of letting Harriet feel alone."
Severus didn't answer his wife, but he agreed completely.
Of course he wanted to support their daughter.
Regardless, he wanted Lily to be comfortable when her time came to deliver as well.

Lucius and Narcissa had treated Harriet extremely well.
They spared no expense when it came to Draco and his expectant mate.
The wealthy family had purchased every available luxury for Harriet and every lavish detail that money could buy for their grandchild's nursery.
Harriet spent her time on the weekends divided between her parents' house and Malfoy Manor.
One Saturday afternoon, Harriet stood in the baby's nursery and held one of her child's plush toys while she looked around.
"Something missing, love?" Draco called from the doorway.
He wore a pleased, arrogant smirk on his face as he stared at Harriet and admired her beauty.
She turned quickly in the direction of his voice.
Harriet pouted as she noticed her husband and replied, "I think we should go to the shops today."
"Oh?" Draco chuckled with an amused grin, "And why is that?"
"There seems to be a startling lack of Gryffindor-themed items here." Harriet said as she laid a hand on her belly and looked around the damask room.
Harriet had a valid point.
The entire nursery had been biasedly decorated in black, white, and green.
Draco felt his heart clench as he looked at his pregnant mate.
For a moment, he worried the organ would explode in his chest as he walked over to his adorable lover, took her belly into his hands, and looked into her eyes as he nodded, "Then we'll go to the shops today…..You can choose whatever you'd like, my darling."
His words soothed Harriet as she reached up and placed a loving kiss on his lips.
"...Harriet?" Draco asked as he pulled away once their kiss ended.
"...Yeah?" Harriet whispered.
"You do know that buying certain items doesn't mean our baby will grow up to be sorted into Gryffindor, right?" Draco goaded with a haughty smirk.
"...And none of this green and white," Harriet said as she gestured around the room, "...Means that they'll be placed into Slytherin either, Draco."
They looked at each other for a moment before Draco's face fell as he asked, "...What if they get sorted into Ravenclaw one day?"
"Ravenclaw?" Harriet blinked, "What about Hufflepuff?"
Draco and Harriet stared at each other in terrified apprehension for a moment before Draco nodded and said, "I draw the line at blue and yellow. No blue or yellow today, alright?"
"I agree." Harriet nodded very seriously.
Draco offered her his arm, which she gladly accepted.
Together, the couple walked out of the nursery and headed towards the shops to pick out more items for their unborn, although nothing in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff house colours would be purchased by the youngest Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy.
