A.N. — This story is one away from 100 reviews. I don't write for the feedback alone, but it sure is nice to see it nonetheless. Now here's that promised centaurs vs. Umbridge drabble. I am really excited for the insanity of tomorrow.
168. Magorian
A leader needed to be able to discern and carry out the will of his people. When Umbridge stumbled into his herd, Magorian had never had an easier decision on what to do.
A leader also needed to inspire those who followed him. It heartened Magorian that, even while magically bound, the other centaurs were carrying the offending witch off to mete out justice.
Lastly, a leader needed to be unquestioned in their role as the group's head. By allowing popular sentiment to win out, Magorian consolidated the herd's trust in him, letting his hatred of humans benefit them all.
