A.N. — There's three big names in a row (literally large, for the first two) starting tomorrow, to balance out the three lesser-known folks that wrap up today. Somehow, this one's on the character list, unlike the last two. Of course, the video game character's in the tags, not Marcus Belby (he's in the top 200 names by mention in the books, c'mon!).
172. Maxine O'Flaherty
A closed-cropped haircut gave Maxine a stereotype around the castle, not that she minded — it fit her to a T. Perhaps she'd don a flannel shirt under her Hogwarts robes to fully live up to the butch lesbian image.
Maxine was fearsome with a beater bat, so she rarely heard crass comments about her appearance, or love life. If she didn't drive prospective girlfriends off with her gruff personality or quidditch practice conflicting with date time, she'd actually have a love life to gossip about.
Thankfully, her bat was damn handy to work through the frustrations of still being single.
