Reno scowled at the thing in her arms. "For fuck's sake. I've said no—"
"Like, a gazillion times, yep." Yuffie grinned sheepishly. "So—"
"Fuck no!"
"Give him a chance!"
He gestured at the cat tree in the corner of his apartment. "That's what you said with the other two—"
"And they're still here, so what's the problem?"
His scowl darkened. "I don't fuckin' want a cat."
Without warning, she dumped the sleeping furball on his lap, and he froze as she danced away with a victorious grin. "Well, now you've got three."
He glared, unimpressed. "Last damn one, alright?"
"Mhmm."
Author's Notes: My headcanon is that the cat house in Wutai is of all the strays Yuffie finds in the village, and she dumps them all there and feeds them cause she likes to collect things :3
