179. Dobby

A.N. — This character, perhaps moreso than anyone other than Luna, is hard to write for. It's all down to their unique mindsets. Happy birthday, Dobby.

179. Dobby

Dobby would gladly iron his fingers or bash his head, if Great Master Harry Potter asked him to. But Master Harry Potter never did, and that was what made him Great.

Dobby could wear all the hats, gloves and socks he desired without being told off. He was paid actual wages, and nobody told him how to spend them.

Harry'd freed him from the abusive Malfoys, but Dobby still required a bond. He was currently attached to Hogwarts, but would leave when Harry did.

Technically, Dobby was not free, but he had the most unbound soul of any house elf.
