A.N. — To conclude this run of rather anonymous characters, here is my first quidditch-related write in a while (nearly 40 chapters between mentions!). Eventually, I will finally run out of players from the Quidditch World Cup final...

191. Quigley

Quigley was riding a high, and he wasn't just referring to his broom.

It was so satisfying, breaking the nose of Viktor Krum. Getting one over on the best player on the pitch, and to do so on the world stage, all served to make the Irish beater's performance stand out even more. Of course, his side's victory was never in doubt from the opening whistle, so Quigley's last, violent, act in the match could be viewed as petty one-upsmanship. But for Quigley, the win was affirmation that life truly was lived only with danger and glory in the offing.
