A.N. — Today, a week before his birthday, is when Harry's first Hogwarts letter arrives. The next few days don't have much going for them, canon-wise, aside from those letters. So I'm sneaking a student in here, during the summer, and before the month closes with the heavy hitters.
205. Stewart Ackerley
Being the first student Sorted of the year was bound to make one nervous. Poor Stewart Ackerley never grew out of that.
All of his Ravenclaw smarts did not allow him to think his way out of his debilitating twitches and trembles. Indeed, devoting too much brainpower to solving the problem only seemed to exacerbate it. He scoured the library for a magical remedy and came back empty. Madam Pomfrey could only give him a warm smile and a pat on the shoulder.
Learning at Hogwarts was full of wonder, but the inherent dangers were all Stewart could focus on.
