A.N. — Yesterday, I did a school-age character for the first time in almost a week. Today, it's an obscure member of the Black family for the first time in months (the last three — Regulus, Bella, and Narcissa — were well-known). This one is more than a name on a family tree, for once.
206. Elladora Black
She never married, never had a child of her own. What Elladora did have were the heads of the Black family house elves, mounted for posterity forevermore on the wall. It was a legacy Elladora was proud to have started. It was a sight that, upon entering 12 Grimmauld Place, drove most away. Elladora didn't let them get under her skin. All she had to do was look at the array of faithful servants lining the main stairway and any ills plaguing her mind fled.
Outsiders rather thought it quite the other way around — Elladora's mind would always be sick.
