Sorry for the lack of updates last week, but hopefully everything will be back to normal. Enjoy this one-shot.
Tsuyu croaked as she stepped onto the roof of the school to see Izuku staring up at the night sky, "Midoriya? What are you doing up here?"
"Came up here to be alone," Izuku sighed and shook his head, "Aren't you worried people might think you're friends with someone who's supposedly working for All for One?"
"Bakugou doesn't think that, and most of the teachers don't think that either. Ribbit, what's wrong, Midoriya?" Tsuyu stepped closer to him, "What was that power earlier?" Izuku took a deep breath, "I want to help," Izuku gestured towards a bench and the two of them sat down.
Inhaling slowly, Izuku frowned, "Kacchan knows about this, so…I was born Quirkless," Tsuyu croaked in confusion, "My Quirk's name is One for All, and it's passed down from user to user but the current user has to pass it on willingly, it can't be taken. Anyway, one day, I met All Might, and you can probably guess my excitement." Tsuyu croaked and nodded, "Anyway, Kacchan was being attacked by a sludge monster and I dove in to save him. All Might saw me, explained One for All to me, trained me and then passed on his Quirk by making me eat a piece of his hair. I'm the ninth user and the past users all had Quirks and their Quirks fused with the power of One for All, and I guess I inherited them as well,"
"You…you were that Quirkless kid!" Tsuyu croaked in anger, "You could've died, Midoriya! What the hell were you thinking an-"
"I wanted to be a hero, Tsu," Tsuyu's eyes widened, "I wanted to show everyone who bullied me that I'm not a useless punching bag, and I thought that if I rescued Kacchan, it would show them, and it sort of did…so…you can't tell anyone. All Might, Mr. Aizawa, Recovery Girl, I think Principal Nezu and Kacchan know, as well as Grand Torino, but you can't tell anyone else, okay?"
"Okay, ribbit,"
"Right," Izuku sighed and stood up before offering Tsuyu his hand, "Let's head inside," Tsuyu nodded before taking his hand and the two of them walked back inside.
