A.N. — I like coinciding with canon when positing drabbles. Today, I am breaking one of my personal rules to do so. This guy has no official name, despite being in two of the books, so he's obviously not in the site's tags (one-book Derek was yesterday, though...). But he did figure prominently in Lockhart's book signing.
217. The manager of Flourish and Blotts
He should've learned his lesson from the Lockhart signing. He'd had to shutter the shop and sell exclusively by owl order through the holiday season to repair the damage.
But here he was, owner/manager of Diagon Alley's preeminent bookstore, surrounded by tomes of knowledge... making the same stupid mistakes again.
As if losing his whole shipment of The Invisible Book of Invisibility wasn't bad enough, now he had to contend with a semi-sentient title that bit anything that got too close. It left him mentally and physically scarred, with both shredded pages and tattered psyche to tidy up.
