A.N. — August 7 is the whole blowing up Marge Dursley debacle, but all the main players in that have already been covered. So here is someone who I really should've done back in May, but tackling him in summer gives me a unique perspective to write.

219. Firenze

Summer was a lonely time at Hogwarts.

Firenze didn't think he'd miss the background noise of hundreds of humans, but dwelling in a mostly-empty castle and unable to return to his (former) herd had him reconsidering.

His classroom had been altered to mimic his old stomping grounds as closely as possible, but the rest of Hogwarts had a decided bipedal bias. Firenze could always visit the grounds, but spying eyes from the treeline acted as a deterrent for that.

His original home was denied him, and his new one just didn't fit. Being half-human, half-horse had never hurt Firenze more.
