The following is from a blog post by Cheyanne Hart, who at the time of this writing is a twenty-year-old student of journalism at Northwestern University. Ms. Hart began this blog in high school to chronicle her love of writing from a young age, showcasing her diary entries starting at the age of four. This particular entry, posted in 2018, was written a year into her journaling when she was five, living in Washington, DC, as the daughter of then-Senator Dennis Hart (D-ME). Friday, June 17th

Bad news! The maid is leaveing! She told Mommy today is going to be her last day! Mommy is mad at her beacause she sayed that Maryanne is suposed to give her too weeks notice but she did n't. Maryanne sayed that her unckel called her and sayed he has a better job in Notingham for her so shes leaving today. Then she told me that she did n't realy want her unckel's job but she wants to go there beacause her Beyoncé lives there and she wants to go and be with her Beyoncé and I told her I did n't know she new Beyoncé! I love it win they play her songs on Radio Sidney! But then Marianne told me that Beyoncé means some won who sayed yes they want to mary you so shes her Beyoncés Beyoncée too (but theres a extra E when it's a girl!) and I said OH I did n't now that! But she said too that she dos n't want my Mommy to now about her Beyoncé so its a secret so dont tell anywon SHHH! Also she said that her unckel dos n't like her Beyoncé and that her unckel is n't a nice man and her unckel is probaly going to try to trick her in to helping him hurt her Beyoncé but Maryane is going to try to help her Beyoncé in secret by prentending to help her unckel but shes actualy going to be helping her Beyoncé but shes going to prentend that she dos n't now her unckel is trying to trick her so he wont know that shes helping her Beyoncé in secret and thats a secret too so SHHHHH! But she told me too that shes afrayed beacause she does n't now if her Beyoncé wants to still be her Beyoncé beacause they have n't seen eeach other in a real long time. Marryann has n't seen her Beyoncé since I was a baby! She says she wont be mad if her Beyoncé dos n't want to be her Beyoncé any more beacause she some times did n't want to be his Beyoncée any more either. She says its not helthy to wait for some one for that long and that she all ready waited for him wonce for a real long time be for and she was glad then that she waited for him but she dos n't now if she shoud have done that beacause she stoped her own life to wait for him. She says sins the last time she saw her Beyoncé she tried looking for other boys to be boy friend and girl friend with but she did n't like any of them but she wont be mad if her Beyoncé found a nother girl to be boy friend and girl friend with beacause he shoud n't stop his own life waiting for her ether. Mary Ann says her Beyoncé is a really nice boy and she still loves him and shes still going to help him in secret so her unckel cant hurt him but she dos n't now if its helthy to still be Beyoncés with some won she has n't seen in a real long time. She even said that she dos n't now if hes still the same boy beacause some times people chanje and I told her that I did n't now that and I hope that one day I can chanje into a butter fly princess! But she sayed no not that kind of chanje and she looked sad and I felt sad that Mariane was sad. Also she sayed too that she probally chanjed too so may be she wont be the same girl her Beyoncé fell in love with any more ether. She sayed she woud like to still be Beyoncés with him but he needs to still want to be her Beyoncé too and he still needs to be like the boy she remembers and she still needs to be like the girl he remembers. I sayed that all sounds hard and she sayed love is complecated and i woud under stand it more when i was a big girl. The maid said she woud call Mommy when she got a new phfone number in Notingham so I coud tauk her still and I told her I woud like that beacause shes really friendly and she sayed win iam a big girl i coud ask her about big girl things if iam afrayed to tauk to Mommy about them about things like boy friends and I tolled her that I don't like boys I like girls beacause boys are gross and she sayed thats okay too but that i might change my mind won day or i mite not too. JEEZ, growing up sounds confuzing! She sayed it is but that she coud help me be less confuzed one day but now she had to go away now and I wished her good luck and iam going to miss the maid!

P.S. for the last lunch she gave me Mariyan let me have a cheese pizza Kid Cuisine®™ and thats a secret from Mommy too so SSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!

P.S.S. MariAnne also sayed that she has to see her Beyoncé beacause she has a secret to tell him but she cant tell me either beacause its a grown up secret but that she mite tell me one day win iam a big girl and i hope she tells me won day beacause i realy want to now now!
