"What are your thoughts on the relationships outside of marriage?" Edward asked me.

"I think I'd be okay with physical infidelity as long as my partner doesn't get caught and I don't have to go through any humiliation." I said.

"Good to know that." He said, "I think we're on the same page."

I mean, that's what I had seen in my family. Nobody gave a damn about physical infidelity and well, it seemed to have been working pretty well for everyone.

I guess when you belong to an affluent family and when you're also trying to marry someone similar, you're already too blessed to demand any loyalty in return.

And, here I was talking about Edward Cullen, the most eligible bachelor in our circuit right now! He could get me everything I wanted from my husband - power, position, success.

Should I expect him to stay loyal to me forever? No! We wouldn't be having this discussion right now if either of us was actually looking for love and loyalty!

"I think things are looking fairly positive," he said.

"I agree."

Things were looking pretty good on all important matters. 'Getting to know each other' was never really our concern! We were pretty clear about that right from the start.

"I think we should meet again to discuss the prenup. How is your calendar looking next week?" he asked as he checked his phone, "I've some time available on Wednesday afternoon."

"I'm busy on Wednesday." I said, "I need to check if I can move any of my meetings."

"Okay, can you please send me the confirmation by tomorrow morning?" he asked.

"Yeah, sure. Actually I want to clarify about one more thing," I said as I remembered something important, "I don't want kids till next three years."

There was no way I wanted to even think about motherhood till I hit thirty. If he wanted it earlier, well, it was going to be a deal breaker for me!

"Three years?" he asked, "Actually, I had four years in mind."

"That's even better!" I said.

Well, that was a big relief! I had seen some of these arranged marriages in business families where the first priority was to get the 'heir'. I didn't think I was ready for that. Even just the thought of having a child gave me shudders unlike anything!

"Cool, so I think we're on the same page." Edward said, "I need to leave now. I've a meeting in ten minutes, and I don't like running late for meetings."

"That's one more similarity, I'd say," I said.

"Good to know," he said.
