231. Mr Roberts

A.N. — I'd say it's discriminatory, that this Muggle is not in the site's character list, but the tags leave a lot of people out. He's another guy in the top 200 in name mentions in the books to not be in the list.

231. Mr. Roberts

Mr. Roberts had been memory charmed so many times, he was lucky he recalled his own name.

It'd been a nuisance for the Ministry obliviators, each time Mr. Roberts noticed some discrepancy in money or dress. The magicals were none too careful in safeguarding their secret, and the quick zaps to the muggle were much the same. As long as Mr. Roberts and his family remained unaware of the true nature of the event on his property, it was all okay.

After his harrowing experience with the Death Eaters, the obliviators finally took care to gently modify Mr. Roberts' memories.
