A.N. — Percy, according to canon, married a Muggle (I might've written her here instead had she been in the books or movies). But most readers (myself included) thought this Ravenclaw had dibs on that while reading the books. But I guess she had the sense her House is famous for and dumped his ass.
235. Penelope Clearwater
Graduating Hogwarts had opened Penelope Clearwater's eyes.
It wasn't just stepping into the "real world" and starting a new job and her adult life. Leaving school (and all its strife) behind allowed Penelope to blossom into a fresh, new woman, unencumbered by any past baggage. She gladly shed the trauma of the basilisk attack, but letting go of Percy Weasley was a gradual process.
Aside from their scholarly pursuits and being Prefects, there was not much to tie them together. With those now removed, their relationship faltered. Percy had been nice, but Penelope was now aiming higher — in all things.
