A.N. — I am not using the Fantastic Beasts explanation for this character's backstory. Just no. And she's more than just a means for body disposal, too. She is a character. Here's my take on a snake.
241. Nagini
Nagini didn't think she'd been so bloodthirsty, before.
She was a predator; hunting was in her DNA. Consuming bodies whole was part and parcel of that. But with that last woman she'd eaten, something had changed. It was as if all Nagini's instincts were constantly on overdrive, heightened to the point of uncomfortableness. It was like slithering around with a full, distended belly.
But more than just sustenance lurked in Nagini's system now. A dark madness murmured in her mind, urging her to new levels of depravity. Her innate nature remained, but bound to another, unwillingly.
Improved? Perhaps.
Free? Never.
