Augustus felt bad for Arthur, really. But seeing the head of the Weasley family wheeled into the Dai Llewellyn ward was a can't-miss opportunity for him.

Normally, healers received pushback on treatment from their subjects. Arthur, however, hung on the trainee Healer's every word as Augustus outlined the procedure for using muggle stitches on the snake-envenomed wounds.

Now, there was light dancing in Arthur's eyes that was absent when he was first admitted to St. Mungo's. Augustus considered that a better accomplishment than his amateur attempt at sewing flesh. He'd started with a patient; he ended with a lifelong friend.
