As Ryker and Mirajane started a relationship, I tried to imagine what she would be like dating. I hope I haven't left you too OOC. Hope you like it.

Ryker and Mira left early the next day, they were in the wagon heading north to the Village of Larvik, a small town near the mountains, in the northernmost part of Fiore. They were seated across from each other. He was wearing beige military outfits, while she was wearing a gold-colored Chinese-style dress with a slit in the right leg, which Ryker couldn't stop looking at.

"The trip will take all day, maybe even longer. It's better to rest and not waste energy seeing my legs", she teased him with a slight smile, noticing his indiscreet gaze.

Ryker smirked and crossed his arms, looking at her deeply. "They are beautiful, I can't help it. And like you said I have a lot of time to rest, I can use some of that time to enjoy the view", he chuckled, making her blush. But then his expression turned more serious. "Do you know this place we're going, Mira?"

She took on a more serious look. "I've never been this far north. But I did some research before we left. Apparently Larvik is a small town near the mountains, it's not far from the sea, either. It's surrounded by dark and dense forests, it's a rather cold region and few people live there. As it is very remote and isolated, people don't go there very often. I don't think it's very touristy," she smiled at the last part.

"This could be a problem," Ryker was thoughtful. "Being so far away and isolated like this, any help will be hard to get, and we don't know what exactly we're dealing with." He looked at her very seriously. "We'd better be twice as careful," Mira nodded.

Mirajane looked thoughtful with an air of concern, looking down and then out of the carriage that was taking them.

"What's the matter, Mira?" Ryker asked noticing her unease.

She sighed and turned to him. "That description…is bothering me," she huffed.

"Okay, what do you mean?"

"I'm not sure," she said. "It feels weird, like something bad is going to happen and…" she hugged herself shakily, " and it's freaking me out", she hugged herself tighter.

Ryker left where he was, sitting next to Mira. He enveloped her in a strong, heat-filled hug that instantly soothed her. "Hey… it's okay, nothing's going to happen, I promise. I won't let you", he said comfortingly and kissed her forehead as tenderly as possible.

Mira hugged him back, resting her head on his chest, feeling the heat emanating from him. It was so comforting that she fell asleep in his arms. Ryker looked at her fondly and kissed the top of her head, it wasn't long before he fell asleep with her.

The rest of the trip went off without a hitch. It was a long, arduous journey to the village, taking longer than they had planned. It was almost midnight when the carriage arrived, and there was nothing else they could do. There was only one small inn, so they went to it, hoping to find an available room. They would leave what they had to do for the next day, at that moment they just wanted to rest and get a good night's sleep.

The Fairy Tail mages entered the inn and went straight to reception. It was very simple, without major decorations, but it felt comfortable and welcoming. At the reception was a young woman with light green hair, tied in a simple ponytail.

"Good night. How can I help you?", the girl said gently and with a wide smile when she saw them.

"Good night," Mira replied with her welcoming smile. "We are Fairy Tail mages and we are in need of two bedrooms, if possible."

The receptionist looked at them in amazement, pausing without reaction for a few seconds. Ryker and Mira looked at each other, not understanding what had happened to her. After the initial scare, the receptionist returned to the world.

"Oh my God!" she screamed. "Forgive me! Of course, we've been waiting for you," his smile returned, as glorious as ever. "You can call me Helena. I'll take you to your rooms," she came out from behind the counter and motioned for them to follow.

They walked through the corridors and through the floors of the inn looking for the rooms.

Ryker looked at Mira with curiosity and some disappointment. "Why two bedrooms?" he asked, whispering so no one else would hear.

Mira smiled and rested her head on his shoulder looking at him affectionately, taking away any inconvenience from him. "We've been very close to each other these past few days. A distance between us isn't going to kill us, and besides, it's not going to be that easy," she giggled and he turned his face flushed.

"Here they are," Helena pointed to the rooms, facing each other, handing them the keys.

"For a city that doesn't get a lot of visitors, this inn has a lot of occupied rooms," Ryker said nonchalantly.

"Ryker!" Mira scolded him.

Helena gave a shy little laugh. "Actually, we don't have a lot of people around here," she commented.

The other two looked at her in confusion. "But why do we walk so far to get to the rooms?" Mira asked.

"Well…", Helena began shyly. "The mayor asked us to reserve the best rooms for you two," she explained. "Speaking of which, he'll meet you at lunch tomorrow. He will explain everything, it will be here at the landing, in the restaurant", she informed them.

Helena smiled and turned to leave them alone and rest. When she was halfway between them, she stopped and turned to them. She had tears in her eyes and a pleading look. "Please help us," she begged. "Deliver us from this disgrace," she cried.

Mira walked over and placed her spleens on her shoulders, comfortingly. "We will, don't worry," Helena looked at Mira and her determination and strength. She cried harder and hugged her quickly. Mira comforted her, hoping the young attendant would recover from her emotion.

"Thank you", Helena said and ran to her place of work.

Ryker walked over to Mira and gave her a serious look. "Let's get this thing over with," Mira agreed.

They were at the door to their respective rooms, ready to go in when Mira called out to Ryker.

"Good night, My Love", she said in a sexy shy way and looking at him in a seductive way, with those beautiful big blue eyes. Slowly she walked into her room, purposely showing her leg as she closed her bedroom door.

Ryker seethed inside, gulping at the sight of her teasing him. For minutes he stood in the same position looking at her door.

"She's going to kill me," he concluded, before finally entering his room.

The next morning Ryker and Mira woke up at roughly the same time. He was wearing his usual uniform, but with his jacket sleeves rolled up to the elbow and wearing tactical gloves. Mira wore a red dress with straps and long, baggy skirts.

They greeted each other with a discreet kiss on the lips and went to the inn's restaurant. It was still early, the sun had barely risen.

"Good morning, Mira-san, Ryker-san", Helena greeted them when they appeared at the reception.

"Good morning Helena," Ryker greeted cordially, with his usual frown.

"Good morning, Helena", Mira, on the contrary, had a beautiful smile.

"You guys get up early," she said.

Mira chuckled and Ryker just looked at her disinterestedly. " It's the habit. What to do, right!?", the magician Take Over said, Helena laughed in response.

"Well, if they're looking for the restaurant, it'll be over there", the receptionist indicated, showing the way.

"Thank you", thanked the white-haired mage.

"They make an interesting couple", Helena told herself as she watched the two go to their destination.

In the restaurant they looked at the variety they had in front of them. It wasn't much and they expected it, considering the size and isolation of the city. However, it seemed that the products were of local origin, which gave a special value to each one of them.

"Then? What's it like to have a breakfast you didn't make yourself?" Ryker nudged Mira lightly with his elbow, teasing her as they took what they thought was interesting from the buffet.

" Grateful", she replied haughtily heading to a table.

"Not what I expected," he followed her, taking a seat across from her.

They made their breakfast, which despite the little variety there was plenty and surprisingly delicious. There was the homemade taste that warmed any heart and that taste of food made in a wood-fired oven that made any meal special.

"We have the midday meeting. What do you want to do until then?" Ryker asked.

"We can walk around town and see what it looks like," Mira suggested.

He eyed her suspiciously. "You want to shop, don't you?"

"Ara, ara. No… well… who knows", she said thoughtfully, pouting and with her index finger on her lips.

"You are all the same. Lucy only thinks about shopping, then complains she has no money," he huffed in boredom.

Mira changed her cheerful expression to something a little darker and annoyed when she heard his sentence. They rose to leave the inn, Mira an expression of mild annoyance.

"When did you go shopping with Lucy?" she asked dryly.

Ryker looked at her confused, he had never seen her speak like that. She didn't have that smile on her face, nor a light expression, it looked like it would be too much.

"It was on the mission that I had to act as security at an auction. Why?" he looked at her mischievously. "Are you jealous?" he asked in a teasing tone.

Mira glared at him, annoyed and indignant. "I'm not," she huffed.

"Oh…okay. You know, Lucy is really cool. She is fun, companion and friend. It's a lot of fun to be with her, it's really good," he peeked out to see what he interpreted as boiling lava. He should regret it...but no!

Mira boiled inside. "Then go stay with her!" she shouted and walked quickly through the streets of the provincial city.

He should stop...but no! "Maybe I'll go. Have you seen that blonde's body...!?".

Mira stopped and what seemed like all the daylight was gone. She turned to Ryker, only to see a superior, mocking look. The Demonic Take Over (I emphasize the term Demonic) approached him with a look more than just anger, a shadow over him, her face twisted in pure hatred, grabbed him by the collar and glared at him. She couldn't stand that mocking smile of his. After a few seconds of looking at him, she calmed down as if nothing bothered her. Ryker was surprised and his expression changed.

Mira let go of him and with an air of superiority straightened up and walked away gloriously. "You are right. Blonds are sensational. Laxus is a beautiful man, don't you think?" she stepped on top of him.

"Wait... what?"

"I said Laxus is beautiful. And that's since he was a teenager. Hmm! He was always handsome," she said dreamily. Now it was Ryker who was seething with rage.

"What's so good about him? He's just a weird guy, full of himself," he said in frustration.

"Do you really want me to answer?", she said and walked away leaving Ryker lost in thought.

"Hey Mira! Get back here!" he snapped out of his reverie and ran after the haughty woman in front of him. "I was just kidding…" she smiled to herself, enjoying watching him chase after her.

The city was provincial, a typical small country town, modest but very tidy houses, flowers and well-kept gardens in the houses, clean and tree-lined streets. The people, despite everything, were surprisingly friendly and welcoming. Wizards were never uncomfortable with stares, as they might think, for being outsiders. On the contrary, residents always showed a genuine smile and were always willing to help with anything. It was a lovely and pleasant place, not to mention that the landscape was breathtaking. Forested mountains and waterfalls could be seen to the west, to the north were hills covered with meadows full of wild flowers. The smell of burning wood perfumed the air, bringing with it the smell of home cooking. There didn't seem to be any problem in such a calm and hospitable place.

At lunch time Mira and Ryker returned to the inn, Helena said that the mayor would arrive in a moment. They decided to wait for him at the restaurant, as arranged. It wasn't long before the mayor walked in and went straight to the wizards. He was a tall, young, handsome and handsome man. His blue gray hair and dark eyes were a welcoming combination, coupled with a shapely face.

"Good afternoon, sir, miss", the mayor greeted them politely. He shook Ryker's hand, and when he went to shake hands with Mirajane, he took her hand and kissed it. Ryker looked at her irritated by the mayor's gesture, Mira played dumb, with a slight blush on her face. "I am happy that you were able to come, my heart fills with joy to see you. By the way, call me Luiz", he smiled gently as he sat down at the table with the magicians.

Mira smiled back, while Ryker was impassive. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Luiz," Mira said warmly. "This is a beautiful city, I'm impressed. People are so kind."

Luiz smiled back, genuinely. "Yeah, it's a great place and the people are the best you could find," he said enthusiastically. "I believe you have already tasted some of our food. Even though the inn is great, my mom's restaurant is the best in the area, if not all of Fiore," he said loud enough for Helena to hear.

"I heard that!" she yelled from reception. Mirajane and Luiz laughed, it was clear they were all friends in that small community. Like every small town, everyone knew each other. Only Ryker was starting to get annoyed with this talk that was going nowhere.

"The chat is great, but we want details of what's going on here," Ryker said dryly. Mira gave him an elbow as a reprimand for not being understandable.

Luiz's calm, relaxed expression immediately changed. He got tense and serious. "You're right," he sighed. "The situation is... difficult."

"It's all right. We're here to resolve this," Mira soothed him. "Tell us what you know," she asked.

Luiz shifted in his chair, clearly uncomfortable. "It all started a few months ago. People started getting sick out of nowhere and after a while they died. We think it was just an outbreak, some illness. Then other people went to the mountains and disappeared, we didn't find any traces, nothing. They just disappeared. The nights started to get dangerous, we heard strange sounds, screams, a sinister presence. We all started to get scared to walk at night. Bodies began to appear deformed in the mornings. Many people had black spots on their bodies, they would appear out of nowhere and within days or hours they would take over their entire body and then they would die. From one day to another people were healthy and then they got sick, when they didn't die of nothing. No doctor could say what happened to them", the magicians listened attentively to everything he said and did not know how to react.

"I feel sorry for you guys." Mira placed her hand in his in comfort.

"What do you think is causing all this?" Ryker asked.

"I do not know. But we suspect some curse. That's got to be it," he replied.

"What do you mean?" Mira asked.

"Our region is always covered by fog at night and in the early morning, due to the mountains. But these mists are strange, they have a rotten smell, a horrible smell. We tried to investigate, we climbed the mountains, we walked everywhere and nothing unusual was found".

"This could be anything," Ryker said seriously, Mira elbowed him again.

"Could be, but something is off. We've had our tough times, but nothing like this. Not even the doctors know what the cause of death was, and we send many bodies to bigger cities with more resources for them to be analyzed and nothing", Luiz explained.

"So are you all attributing this to some curse?" Mira asked.

"Exactly. Some residents saw a strange figure in the fog and at night. There were several sightings and all descriptions match".

"And what does this creature look like?" Ryker asked.

Luiz pulled a folder from his backpack and placed it on the table, showing them the monster's image. It was a misshapen design, it seemed, that thing had wings and horns on its head and glowing red eyes, but the images weren't clear, blurry and could have been anything else.

Mira and Ryker looked at the mayor. "He was also seen in dreams", Luiz added.

"I understand. Don't worry, Luiz", Mira took his hands in hers and smiled warmly. "Whatever it is, let's find out and put an end to it."

Luiz felt her warmth and confidence and a comforting relief. "Thank you", he thanked them both.

Luiz took advantage of the location and invited himself to lunch with Fairy Tail's magicians, leaving everything to him. They had a pleasant conversation, with the mayor telling stories of his city and its people. When they were done, he left to his business and the wizards walked through the city, reflecting on what he had told them. Arriving at a park they sat down and Ryker bought him and Mira some drinks.

"What do you think of all this?" Ryker asked Mira handing her her drink.

"Now I understand why the master sent me here." Ryker looked at her curiously. "That curse story, that frightening figure, everything points to a demon or someone who uses dark magic. As I'm a user of black magic it's kind of obvious that I'm responsible for this mission", he, however, didn't seem convinced by all that talk. "What's it? Is there a problem?", she said, noticing her companion's uneasiness.

"I'm not very convinced of all this."

"You don't believe them," she said with wide eyes in surprise.

"It's not that!" he defended himself. "I believe they believe what they saw, but it could be anything else," he explained.

"So tell me what you think"

Ryker sighed. "Look... it's still summer and the city is relatively cold, Luiz himself said that there is always fog, due to the mountains. And looking at them I can say that it rains a lot in this region, there are many waterfalls. There is moisture coming from the sea and a cold wind from the west that comes down from the mountains. All of this is a melting pot of disease and sudden outbreaks."

"Yeah, but he said the doctors don't know what killed those people," Mira snapped back.

"I can say that there is a lot we still don't know and we can't identify what we haven't discovered yet. Thinking it might be something from the devil or a dark wizard still requires more evidence for me. Check it out! This is a small, isolated town, full of popular beliefs. Fear, sadness and apprehension create conditions for mass hysteria, misidentification… I've seen it before," Ryker explained calmly and seriously.

Mira listened carefully and was thoughtful for a moment. "I understand. And what do you want to do?" she asked.

"Although I think it might be a lot and nothing magical, we have to investigate. He said that the nights are sinister, with the presence of something. I think we have to take a look around here for the night," he said.

"I agree. We can search the city and see what we find."

"Yes, but be careful," he said looking at her with concern.

Mira smiled. "And I thought I was the only one worried. Don't worry, I will."

"You have no idea how much I care about you," he turned his face flushed and embarrassed, much to Mira's grace who thought he was too cute. It was funny that she saw this shy side of him.

She cupped his face and turned him to her and kissed him tenderly on the lips. Mira caressed his face lovingly and looked at him lovingly, they didn't need to say anything more to each other. They knew they would be careful and be there for each other.

The two returned to the inn to rest the rest of the afternoon and prepare for the night. However, Ryker spent most of the time in Mirajane's room. They chatted and laughed with each other most of the time, he just went out to shower, change and nap an hour or two before his nightly mission.

Ryker and Mira were leaving the inn and passing the reception when they heard a voice calling them.

"Are you guys leaving!? Now!?", Helena screamed, scared and worried.

The wizards turned to her with an air of unshakable confidence and smiled. "We came here for this, don't worry. We'll be fine," Mira said smiling. She wore a simple blouse and long skirt, Ryker wore military clothes.

Helena saw them and was amazed by the glow of confidence they gave off, she smiled and was soothed by their powerful presence. She saw them walk out the door and disappear into the dark city. Helena felt a heaviness in her chest, but at the same time, she felt hope.

Mira and Ryker were walking through the dark city, taken by the night. The only lighting came from the poles, which didn't help much. Though nice and cool, with a beautiful starry night sky, they weren't there for romance.

"I'm going this way," Ryker said, pointing to a large street that turned left. "You go straight," he told Mira, who nodded.

"We'll be back here in 30 minutes, if anyone sees anything we should call the other one," Mira said, with Ryker nodding positively.

Each went their way. They would scour the city, looking for anything suspicious and the sinister presence Luiz claimed. About twenty minutes later nothing happened. It was just an ordinary night in a small country town. Empty and lifeless, for Ryker everything was normal and 30 minutes later the two were in the agreed place.

"Did you see anything?" Mira asked.

"Nothing," Ryker replied. "Do you want to continue or quit for today?"

Mira thought for a few seconds. "I think we should continue, we don't know what time an event can take place."

"Right. Later on we split again", they walked down the street to another part of the city, closer to the center.

They followed different paths and as before, agreed to meet in that place in half an hour. Again nothing happened, the city was perfectly normal, but Mira didn't want to give up. They repeated the process two more times and nothing. Ryker thought it was useless to continue, they should go back and maybe the next day they would have more luck, but the Take Over mage convinced him to try one more time, he didn't say no.

Ryker was walking along a deserted street, thinking that nothing would happen, bored but alert to everything around him. He stopped at one point and looked around, listening for all he could. Strangely, he didn't hear anything, and at that moment a dense fog began to take over the city. In a few seconds nothing could be seen. It was so dense he could touch it, feel it between his fingers. Visibility was zero and there were no sounds. Ryker had to admit that this was odd, he had never seen anything like it before, and a chill ran down his spine. He couldn't explain what it was or what he was feeling, he shivered and it wasn't from the cold, his senses were more alert than ever and a restlessness, anguish and anxiety had taken hold of him, was it... fear?

Mira was in the same situation. She could barely see the tip of her nose and there were no sounds she could hear. She tried to call out to Ryker, but it was useless, that fog seemed to block any sound. The Take Over mage could feel something coming, it was as if her dark magic was reacting to another one. She was shivering and nervous about what was going to happen.

When Mirajane looked around, trying to see anything, she heard rapid movement passing by. A misshapen figure was running around her, but the mage could only see her figure, she was too fast. Whatever it was, it was surrounding her and getting closer and closer. Immediately, Mira took a defensive stance, bracing herself for any attack.

"Mirajane Strauss…" she could hear a whisper coming through the mist, a dark voice calling to her.

"Who's there!?" she yelled, but there was no response, only her name being called again. This started to scare her.

Ryker had assumed a fighting stance, he could hear a creature surrounding him and approaching little by little.

"Ryker…" that sinister voice called to him through the fog.

"What do you want!?" he yelled.

"What are you...?", the sinister voice asked in a hideous whisper.

"You don't want to know," he smirked. "Are you going to stay in this little game or are you going to do something, creature?", he teased her.

Mirajane was ready for any attack, but what was there with her showed no signs of aggression, at least not yet. However, she did not let her guard down. She waited for him, looking in all directions, until she was hit lightly, almost like a shove, by something passing by her, something big and fast, that she couldn't see. It repeated itself from behind this time. He was testing her.

Ryker felt the creature circling him and got tired of waiting. He decided to disperse the mist and for that the mage created a sphere in his hand, throwing it through the air and causing it to explode. It was strong enough to blow a large hole in the smoke, but immediately the space was filled with mist again. Before it closed completely, the mage saw something in front of him, it wasn't human, he was sure. Quickly he fired a had in her direction, an explosion then he heard what sounded like a faint cry of pain, much to his satisfaction.

Mira could hear the noise coming from her right, it was an explosion and then another. She knew it could only be Ryker, she had to get out of there and go where he was. But the fog was too thick and she could get lost in that place, she decided to go over the top. A bright light enveloped her and she transformed into the Satan Soul and took flight.

Ryker was satisfied with his attack and smiled victoriously. He knew it wasn't over, but he noticed that the smoke had thinned out. He had more visibility and could hear something. The mage took a more offensive combat form and paid attention to all sides. But he didn't see a strong attack coming his way. Something grabbed him and flung him away, making him hit the ground hard.

He didn't have time to recover when a hand grabbed his neck and dragged him down the street. The pressure was so great that the stone floor was being torn apart. When it stopped, it was lifted and thrown violently to the ground, cracking the stone floor. That creature repeated the process again, harder and harder. Ryker had blood coming out of his mouth, and the pressure on his neck kept him from breathing. After being hit several times he needed to get rid of that situation.

When, whatever it was, he lifted it up, he kicked it out with his hips and wrapped his legs around the creatures arm. For a moment he stopped, Ryker saw the opportunity and swiveled to his right. He managed to knock her to the ground, with some ferocity and free himself from the grip. The mage wasted no time and fired several times on the ground, where the monster would be. The explosions shook the city and screams could be heard from the surrounding houses.

Ryker watched the smoke dissipate when he saw a tall figure with glowing red eyes, like fire. It had wings and horns, he didn't even know what to think about what he was seeing.

He, however, realized that the entity would fire. Ryker accumulated a gigantic amount of energy in his right hand as the monster's eyes glowed more and more. They were ready to shoot each other, however, it occurred to him that he couldn't, or the city could be destroyed. Ryker nullified its energy, but the creature went off with a vengeance.

"Enhance!" Ryker yelled, crossing his arms in defense. As the reddish energy hit him, he could feel the pressure pushing him backward, destroying the ground beneath his feet. He was pushed for tens of meters until he exploded in a gigantic fireball, destroying many buildings around, the shock wave shuddered all over Larvik and Ryker howled in pain, falling to the ground.

The creature leapt towards him, standing on top of him and holding his head tightly with both hands. It tightened and tightened, ready to crush and kill him. The monster was very strong and didn't seem to take damage from Ryker's attacks previously. With every second he squeezed more and more, the mage's pained expression seemed to amuse the sadistically laughing creature.

Ryker was choking and on the verge of losing consciousness when a fierce, powerful kick threw the thing away. Ryker found himself freed from the grip, only to see another entity in front of him. White hair straight up, bat wings, a red collar and a tail. She was defending him and he couldn't tell what it was, but something felt familiar and he felt good to see her.

"Are you okay?" she asked him, in a harsher and more serious way.

"I am," he replied, looking at her carefully. "Mi... Mira?"

"Save your strength. I'll work it out," she said with a serious expression he had never seen before.

Ryker admired her deeply. So that was his magic, Take Over Demonic. She was beautiful and powerful, he knew Mira was strong, but he never imagined that much.

Mira, in her Satan Soul looked at the creature, her rage boiling over and her furious expression was clear. The monster took a few steps back. She could see that the entity, did not flinch and sneered at her, as if she were nothing.

Mirajane began her attack by gathering energy from the surrounding area between her hands, which took the form of a large black globe. "Soul Extinctor!", she screamed and fired, the globe created a large black-purple beam that generated a devastating explosion, hitting the creature full on.

She was very smart to focus all energy directly on that entity, not affecting the surrounding city, which could be destroyed by her attack. When the dust settled they saw the monster flying above them. He glared at them and flew away. Mira watched him walk away, when everything was secure she turned her attention to Ryker, sitting on the floor.

"Are you hurt?" she asked with some concern.

Ryker said nothing, just stared at her for a while. "I'm fine, I used 'Enhance', so nothing serious happened to me," he finally said, not taking his eyes off her, still in his Satan Soul form.

"Fine, now get up from there," she pulled him up.

Ryker chuckled. "You get aggressive in that form," he commented.

Mira looked at him seriously, but with a slight blush. "Shut up!" she scolded him.

He laughed, she didn't fear her, no matter what her form. "So that's your magic, Take Over."

"Yes", she looked away, which he found odd. "This form is called the Satan Soul," she stopped looking at him.

"Is everything okay?" he asked worriedly.

"Clear! Why wouldn't I be? We beat that thing. I won", she said smugly and he laughed, but he knew better, knew her better.

He cupped her face and made her look at him. He admired every feature of that face, stroking her cheeks and playing with her pointy ears, with an amused face. It was amazing how he made her blush, even in that form.

"I like the ears", he said smiling and looked down, making her blush.

"Don't you think I'm weird like that!?", she was never insecure about it, but with him it was different. She was afraid he didn't like her magic, that he would find her ugly, strange. But he demonstrated that this was not the case and never would be.

"Of course not. I'll never find you weird, silly," he said, but his eyes were focused on something else, lower than her face and above her navel. He was looking at her breasts.

When Mira noticed, it looked like a ripe tomato. "W…want to look me in the eyes, you idiot!"

Ryker immediately looked up, embarrassed. "Sorry, I couldn't resist", she looked at him seriously, but hugged him tightly.

"Glad you're fine", she glowed and was back to normal.

"You too", he whispered to her and kissed the top of her head, lovingly. "You know, we're not done with that thing yet," he commented.

"I know, but for now it's fine. I don't want to take any more chances for today," she sighed. She was so scared for him.

"Tomorrow we'll see what to do, but now we have to repost this, right?", he said pointing to a good part of the destroyed buildings in the surroundings.

"Well, they should imagine, hiring Fairy Tail", the two laughed and continued to hold each other, protecting each other.
