I've already finished writing the story. Now, all I have to do is review and post. So don't worry about whether or not the story will end.

I plan to post about three times a week. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Hope you like it. Enjoy this chapter.

Ryker and Mira left early the next day, the trip to Crocus would take at least two days. However, the mood inside the carriage was tense, Mira had an angry expression, Ryker was sullen and with his head down, each of them looking to one side, never meeting their eyes.

Ryker had smoked all night, trying to calm down, and Mira barely slept due to irritation with her boyfriend. For hours they went the same way, not talking to each other and in a grave and uncomfortable silence. Ryker knew he was the main culprit. The night served for him to reflect and he knew that he had not been the kindest person in the world in recent days. But what could he do? He was still adjusting and stumbling would be normal, he knew he needed to make things right, he just didn't know how.

He took a deep breath and sighed. "Mira", he called to her, the Take Over mage looked at him with indifference. "Look, you were right, ok," he said awkwardly. "These last few days I've been a bit of an idiot."

Mira looked at him for a few seconds, her expression softening a little. "I'm still adjusting to this place and how to act. It's not easy to change when you've spent your whole life one way, I'll stumble sometimes", he looked at her a little disappointed. "But it wasn't fair for you to say I've been acting like a dick to everyone. I moved here for a while and you know."

"Ryker…" she wanted to say something, but he cut her off by raising his hand for her to let him continue.

"I might not be the most outgoing guy in the world or have the happiest face, but I didn't mistreat anyone. Maybe I might have been rude at times, but it was always unintentional," he sighed and continued. "And I think you've been unfair to me at that point. Looks like you're seeing me as some monster."

Mira felt a flutter in her stomach, a flutter in her chest, a weight of regret at the harsh words she'd said to him. She got up and sat down beside him and hugged him tenderly.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have said what I said last night. I know how hard you are trying. I just think sometimes you exaggerate," she said, clinging to him.

Those blue eyes and that cute little face, he couldn't resist. He would always lose to her. "No Mira! It's okay, you were right, I did wrong", he rubbed her back with his hand, tenderly. "I have to try harder, I don't want to upset you or anyone else."

They looked at each other and smiled at each other, solving the fight they had last night. They shared a light kiss and Mira caught the infamous scent of Ryker's mouth.

"Have you been smoking?" she asked with concern.

"Just a little!", he says.

"Ryker!" she chides him, he knew he shouldn't.

"I'm sorry!" he defends himself. "Smoking is one of the ways I deal with stress."

"But it's bad! I don't want you filling your lungs with this toxic smoke", she speaks seriously berating him.

Ryker smiled despite the rebuke, his heart warmed, he knew it was all out of concern. He never had anyone who cared about him like she did, it made him very happy. "I know. Look, I'm still learning to handle things differently and it's going to take time, maybe my whole life. I need a little patience, and…maybe…a little support."

"Ah, Ryker!" She placed her hand on his face and stroked it gently with her thumb. "You will always have my support", she said, he smiled and laid his head in her lap, who began to stroke his hair slowly. "I think this was our first lover's quarrel," she said smiling.

"Like we haven't had a quarrel before," he said and they both laughed.

"Are we going to be like this? Fighting all the time?", she questioned a little worried and distressed.

"No, we don't quarrel that much. I think normal," he reassured her. "Look, Mira! I can't promise that we will have a perfect relationship, that we will never fight. Of course we're going to have our downsides. But I promise that I will always fight to improve and make it work. Let's not leave things unresolved, shall we? Because what matters to me is only your happiness".

Mira felt a strong heat in her chest, an immeasurable happiness that made her eyes sparkle and fill with moisture. The love she felt for him seemed to have grown, and she couldn't be happier.

"I want to see you happy too", she said and bent down, kissing him on the lips.

"You know, Mira," he called to her. "I think we should be fucking like animals in heat," he commented.

"WH... WHAT!?" he yelled, turning redder than Erza's hair. She was almost giving off a light of her own with her blush.

"I think it's 'reconciliation sex' they call it," he said.

"WHO, WHO SAID THAT!?" Mira screamed in embarrassment.

"I may have heard from some people in the guild. Like Gray, Gajeel and I think Alzack, too," he said. "Apparently he does that a lot," he commented. "And apparently Levy got pregnant after one of those. At least that's what the girls said."

"How did you know that!?" she asked him.

"Well, Natsu overheard them talking about it and went around wanting to know what they meant," Ryker replied with a shrug. "Then!? Shall we do it?... OUCH!", Mira slapped him hard on the arm.

"You pervert!" she yelled, smiling at the same time. It would be a good two days of travel.

After two long days they finally reached the capital of the Kingdom. Ryker had never seen that city and marveled. He had seen bigger, busier cities before, but her beauty caught his eye. He already thought most of the towns and villages on Fiore he visited were beautiful, but this one was sensational. The castle gave a special charm to the city. Mira thought it was cute that he looked all around them, looking like a child, marveling at something new that she had never seen.

Before going to the library they went to the hotel and got a room. After settling down and getting ready, they went to the library, hoping that Levy had already arrived.

The library building, terracotta and in Victorian style, was gigantic and a spectacle in itself. The interior was another work of art and befitted Fiore's largest library. Gigantic bookshelves, floors and floors filled with books. Nor was there any way of knowing how many of them existed in that place.

"This is huge!" Ryker was awestruck.

"Yeah!" Mira smiled like an angel. "But now we must find Levy, she must have already arrived", she said and they walked through the building looking for the little bluenett.

Before long, Ryker recognized short blue hair. His owner was small and she wore an orange dress with sleeves. "I think she's there," he said pointing to the mage sitting at a table reading a mountain of books. Mira nodded and they walked towards the girl.

"Levy?" Mira called to her, coming up beside her.

She left her world and turned to see the mage Take Over. "Mira-san!", she said, happy to see her. She turned away and caught sight of Ryker, his expression a little more serious. "Ryker," she greeted him.

"Levy," he greeted her back. Mira looked at him and nodded, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry I was rude to you on the phone the other day. I didn't want to hurt you or anything. I'm sorry," he apologized, feeling genuinely guilty.

Levy looked at him and smiled. "It's okay Ryker, I understand. Remember, I date Gajeel," they laughed. "But then... what do you need me for?"

"Well, like Mira said we found some weird symbols in a cave and we need to know what they are and what they mean. We believe it could be related to some entity, but we're not sure," explained Ryker.

Levy tucked her chin thoughtfully. "Okay, I think I know where we can start. We have to get some books that I'm going to point out and when we find the symbols we can decipher it.", she said and passed some book names to the two, who immediately went looking for them in the huge library.

They always came and went with a huge pile of them in their hands. Every time the table they were seated at, it filled with an endless pile of books. Mira and Ryker were exhausted from searching and catching so many of them. When Levy's orders apparently ran out, they sat at the table with a smiling Script wizard. Mira got in front of her and Ryker sat down beside the little one.

"Very well! Now we have to look for the symbols you two saw in the cave," Levy said with enviable excitement.

Ryker hit his head on the table, totally out of energy. "How do you do it?" he asked.

Levy turned to him in disbelief. "I love books! That's why," she replied in an obvious way.

"I like to read too, which doesn't make me read as many as you do," he turned his face, leaning on the table, to Levy.

"Really do you like to read? What do you like?", she asked, brightening up.

Ryker straightened in his chair. "Basically History, I think. And some novels," he said thoughtfully. "Since I arrived here I have read the History of this world. It's been quite interesting," he commented with a slight smile.

"I had no idea you liked that sort of thing," Levy had an excited gleam in his eyes. "As a matter of fact, I always thought you were like the rest of the guild, not much interested in reading," she chuckled softly.

He made an indignant face. "Thanks for my part. Glad to hear you think I'm an idiot," he feigns mock indignation.

"Oh no…I'm sorry, Ryker!" Levy desperately apologized.

Ryker smirked at Levy and the two began chatting about books and each other's reading tastes. Telling them about what they had read lately and making short reviews of them, recommending books they found interesting to each other.

Mira looked at the interaction they were having and couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. She was slightly frustrated and annoyed by their behavior and how friendly they were being to each other. Ryker never mentioned to her that he liked to read and she was his girlfriend. She knew there would be no walk between them, but even so she felt a slight apprehension that he would have things in common with other girls besides her, and that bothered her.

Mirajane cleared her throat, getting their attention. "I had no idea either, Ryker," she commented a little more gruffly than she would have liked.

Ryker smirked at her. "Saw! I'm still full of surprises, Mira," he winked at her, who gave her a shy smile and a slight blush crept up her cheeks.

Levy saw Mira's reaction and his suspicions turned to confirmation. No one made Mira blush, but he, with just one sentence, made her shy and blush. She smiled at the pair.

"We'd better get to work," little bluenett suggested, and everyone picked up book by book.

The hours passed, the mages analyzed and searched for the symbols they had seen. Little was found after so long and their spirits began to wane.

"I found it!" Mira suddenly yelled, holding a book in her hands.

"Did you find the Mira symbols?" Levy asked.

"Yes," she replied. "Ryker," Mirajane called for him to see and confirm.

"That's it, Levy. These are," he confirmed looking at the images in the book that Mira had in her hands.

Levy took the book Mira had given her and looked at them. "Are these all?" she asked.

"I find some in other books too. I've marked the pages on those over there," Ryker indicated to a small stack of books, which Levy took.

Script's mage looked at the images with care and apprehension. "I've never really seen anything like it before," she acknowledged. "Now we need to identify them and know what they say. Maybe I can find out something about the entity."

"Thanks Levy, this will help a lot," Mira thanked her.

"Excellent! This is beautiful and wonderful, but it's late and we need to rest and get something to eat," Ryker reminded them.

The two mages looked at each other and found their stomachs complaining.

"Oh my! I think you're right," Mira giggled. "I think we can have dinner and continue tomorrow," she told Levy.

"I believe so," Levy smiled. "I'm going to get these books and study overnight at the hotel."

"Save it for tomorrow, girl." Ryker took her by the shoulders and began to gently push her out of the library.

"But Ryker…you asked for my help…" she complained as she was ushered out.

"That can wait until tomorrow," he said.

Mira went back to being annoyed with the two of them interacting amicably, more than she would have liked. But she couldn't deny that it was nice to see him acting like a friend and deep down inside she knew it was just that, she laughed at the situation and went along with them.

The three left the library and started walking around town, looking for somewhere to eat.

"Where do you want to eat? Because I don't know anything about this town," Ryker said.

"We can eat at the hotel, there's always a good meal there," Levy suggested.

"And where are you staying?" Mira asked.

"In the same hotel we stayed during the Grand Magic Games"

"Oh really!? So do we!" Mira said, angelically happy with the coincidence.

Ryker watched them, not understanding anything they were saying. "What the fuck was a Grand Magic Games?" he thought.

Mira noticing his confusion, explained everything to him while they went to the hotel for dinner. When they were arriving, a tall, muscular figure was standing at the entrance to the hotel, who were staring at them with a serious expression.

"Where have you been, Shrimp!?", Gajeel questioned her a little annoyed.

"I said I would be in the library! If you didn't find all that boring, you'd know where I was," she glared at him defiantly, to the point that it made him turn his face away with a slight blush.

"Eh, whatever! And these two?" he questioned looking at Mira and Ryker.

"They asked for my help. You forgot?".

"Hello Gajeel," Mira greeted him smiling, Ryker nodded. "I didn't know he came, Levy."

"He insisted, he didn't want to leave me alone", little bluenett said.

"I think he did well," Ryker commented and everyone looked at him, who shrugged.

"Well, whatever. What are you going to do now?" the Metal Dragon Slayer asked.

"Eat," Ryker hastened to reply, to a grinning Gajeel.

They went straight to the restaurant and happily dined. The girls were the most polite and polite at the table, Ryker was the middle ground and Gajeel…well, Gajeel ate half the cutlery and half the food in the restaurant, but other than that it was an enjoyable time. Afterwards, each went to their respective rooms.

"So this was the hotel you stayed at during those games?" Ryker said lying on the bed watching Mira get ready to rest.

"Yes, it was a long time ago. I don't even think they play these games anymore," she commented.

"Oh yeah! You were Team B against Erza's Team. Did you guys sleep…in the same room as them?" he asked, trying to sound indifferent, failing miserably, letting his jealousy show.

Mira looked at him and smiled mischievously. "Maybe…" she said, enjoying watching him brood.

"For me whatever," Ryker turned his sullen face.

Mira finished what she was doing and sat up in bed and bent down to place a light kiss on her boyfriend's lips.

"Don't be jealous, silly," she kissed him.

"Look who's talking! You were all jealous while I was talking to Levy," he replied.

Mira blushed and smirked, Ryker stared at her and smiled, admiring the angel he saw in front of him. He grabbed her and threw her on the bed, despite her protest. He stood over her and looked at her fondly.

"Think you'll get out of this, like that?" he smiled at the mage beneath him.

"Ryker, you know..."

"You know too. We're only going to step forward when you're comfortable with it," he cut her off. "I just want to be close to you. I want to enjoy this mission and be close to you, Mira. Tomorrow I can go to another mission and stay who knows how many days without seeing you. So I want to enjoy every moment", he smiled affectionately at her.

Mira wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a searing kiss. She opened her mouth and let his tongue explore her mouth, and she did the same to him. Their tongues danced in perfect harmony. She moaned with the pleasure of the kiss, accompanied by the same sounds he made.

Ryker felt light and happy with Mira's kisses, but at the same time a heat surged through him, begging for more of that feeling. He kissed other girls, but none came close to what Mira gave him.

Ryker's kisses were everything to Mira, unprecedented happiness overtaking her. She could tell she felt light, on cloud nine, and just like him, heat rose through her with the contact. His kiss was so good, she wanted more and more, she could stay there forever, in his arms.

But unfortunately, reality literally knocked at their door. Someone knocked on their bedroom door, causing them to stop the kiss in fear and get up and straighten quickly.

Another knock on the door was heard. "Mira, it's Levy," the short one said, to the relief, or anger, of the wizards.

"Yes, come in," she said.

Levy opened the door and walked in. She was immediately surprised by the two. Did they look…nervous?

"Everything okay here?" she asked, a little suspiciously.

Ryker nodded and Mira smiled nervously. "Clear! Why wouldn't I be?", she laughed nervously.

Levy thought this was all very strange. She looked around and noticed something else stranger. "A bed!?" she thought. It was more than obvious what they were now and them being so nervous like this… "Did I interrupt something!?" and the thought made her red like Erza's hair.

"Is everything alright Levy?", Mira asked seeing her friend's state.

The little mage returned to the world with the voice of Mirajane. "Yes, it is," she said nervously. "Ryker I need to talk to Mira. Alone!", she said and was pushing him out of the room, without him understanding what was happening.

"Wait! What? Why?"

"Girl talk, Ryker. You don't want to participate," she said.

"And what am I going to do?"

"Go out with Gajeel", she threw him out of the room and closed the door in his face, to his utter astonishment.

"What the fuck was that!?"

Ryker dragged Gajeel to a bar as soon as he was kicked out of his room. All cities being essentially the same, it didn't take them long to find a good bar and order their drinks.

"What are they talking about?" Ryker wondered, taking a sip of beer.

"They must be talking shit about girls," Gajeel replied, even though the question wasn't directed from him.

"And what kind of shit will it be?"

"Gihihi... Are you interested in girl talk, Weird?", Gajeel laughed sarcastically.

Ryker eyed him wearily. "Fuck you, Spinhead! I'm just curious," he snapped, causing more laughter from the Dragon Slayer.

"Do not worry. Levy and your girlfriend must be talking about us, gihihi"

Ryker looked at him in disbelief. "M…my girlfriend!?"

Gajeel looked at him deeply, his red eyes glowing. "Don't be an idiot, your idiot. It's pretty obvious that you two are one thing."

"Well, that doesn't concern you," he looked at him seriously.

The Dragon Slayer looked deadly serious. "Listen here, Ryker," he said seriously, making him look aghast. "I may not be the best guy in the guild, but I've been in that place for a while and Mira accepted me, as did everyone. We were part of the same team at the Magic Games and when we picked up Laxus. It may not seem like it, but I consider her very much. So treat her well, because if I know something… you'll see me," he looked at him deeply.

Ryker could tell he was serious by the look in his eyes. It was clear that the people of Fairy Tail cared about each other, and if he was going to be honest with himself he cared about them too, in a way that went beyond his duty as a soldier.

"I heard it loud and clear, sir," he gave a sloppy salute. Despite the mockery Gajeel softened his expression, turning his attention to his drink.

"Not bad", he took a sip and gave him a mischievous look. "Does she know about Cana?" he asked mischievously.

Ryker swallowed and glanced sideways at him, only wondering what to call him. "Go take it right in the middle of your ass!" he snarled and Gajeel laughed. "Of course she doesn't know, and it's better to stay this way."

"That night, as far as I can remember, you two had a lot of fun... Gihihi!", the Dragon Slayer said looking at him sideways while drinking some beer.

Ryker laughed sarcastically. "It was in the past. And yes, we had a lot of fun. Not just that night, but many others," he eyed him mischievously.

Gajeel looked at him with wide eyes, after a while he smiled. "Gihihihi! And I figured you were just an idiot", he raised his glass and the two of them toasted.

They drank the beer and Ryker eyed him mischievously. "Don't deny it! You wish you had something with her too. I mean, Cana is beautiful and has a sculptural body, which is sin itself. Any guy would be lucky to have her."

"I'm committed if you don't know, and I'll be a father. Don't judge me by your low standards, you bastard," he eyed him by leaning his forearm on the table and smiling.

Ryker rolled his eyes. "Off course! The saint never looked at Cana's breasts." Gajeel tried to hold back his laughter, but he let it come. They toasted and drank a big gulp, finishing and asking for another round.

"And how is life as a father?", the otherworldly wizard asked legitimately.

Gajeel looked at him for a few seconds, taking him in well. "Since I heard, I've been working nonstop. Now it's not just me, I'm responsible for another life."

"Cheers to future generations and sleepless nights," Ryker raised his mug for toast. Gajeel raised his and toasted it and they both drank the contents.

"I think I can consider you a friend, Gajeel. We're not that different," Ryker said drinking his third round.

Gajeel looked at him and laughed. "Gihihi... Awww! I feel flattered. My life is done now, I'm friend with a weird bastard from another world."

Ryker held up his middle finger at him and they both laughed, taking their respective beers. They talk nonsense for a while longer before heading back to the hotel.

Levy closed the door as he ejected Ryker from the room. She turned and ran to the bed and sat down next to Mira. She took the white-haired mage's hands in hers and looked at her with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Tell me everything, Mira-san", Levy said smiling.

"Tell? Tell what?" she said shyly.

Levy looked at her and blinked a few times. "You and Ryker are dating, aren't you? I want to know everything".

Mira blushed and was surprised. As she found out, they decided to be discreet early on in their relationship, Ryker didn't like to be the center of attention, so he asked them not to be in public, especially in the guild.

"Ho…how did you know?" Mira asked in disbelief. "We were keeping it a secret for now."

Levy laughed heartily, leaving Mirajane stunned, not understanding what was so funny. "Seriously, Mira! The last thing you went was to be discreet." The mage Take Over didn't know what to say. "The way you look at each other and touch and how you act when you're close to each other was kind of obvious," she chuckled. "And the one-bed room! Serious!?".

Mira pondered and couldn't deny it was true. She laughed and felt some relief, it felt good to share her happiness with more people than just her brothers.

"It's only been a few days," she commented. "But I'm so happy with him", she blushed and looked dreamily nowhere.

"I'm happy for you Mira-san. You two deserve to be happy," she smiled.

Mirajane smiled beautifully in response.

"And what's he like?", the short girl asked curiously. "Don't hide anything from me"

"Ryker is a cutie," she commented, to bluenett's amazement. "He's funny, fun, smart and mature. The strength he has to continue is beautiful, he cares about me and he's even romantic", she spoke dreamily.

"Ro…romantic!?" Levy looked disbelieving. "I never imagined he was romantic."

Mira giggled. "He's not a fairytale prince, or the most romantic of men, but he always wants to see me happy. I fell in love with him like that, and for me he's perfect."

"Oh, Mira...", Levy smiled affectionately holding her hands in his. "Don't say that to a pregnant woman," he wiped a few tears from his face. They both laughed.

"What about you and Gajeel? How are you?" the Take Over mage asked.

"We're fine, he's been great. But I'm kind of worried," Levy sighed.

"Why? Did he do something?"

"It's not that!", she was quick to respond, fearing that the powerful mage would understand something wrong. "He has been working hard since he knew he would become a father. He's been taking job after job and his bruises barely heal."

Mira smiled sweetly. "Don't worry, Levy. He's strong and I think if you talk to him about it, I'm sure you guys can sort it out. And remember, the guild will help you with whatever you need."

Levy hugged her tightly and tenderly, being reciprocated in the same way. "Thanks, I needed to hear this", they held each other for a while until the short one asked, "Speaking of which... Mira? Have you and Ryker done it yet?" Levy said in a mischievous tone.

"Ara, ara!" Mirajane turned shy and redder than a ripe tomato. Levy laughed and the two laughed and continued talking for a long time.

"So…girl talk, huh?" Ryker was lying on the bed, with Mira by his side. He was looking up at the ceiling, turning his head to the side to see his beloved. "Gajeel said you were talking about us."

Mira turned her head to him and smiled. "We talk about a lot, besides you. Men always think they're so important, they always think we talk about them," she scoffed.

Ryker looked at her blankly, shifting to something more malicious. "I think I have to try harder not to get out of your head", he jumped on Mira and began kissing her with desire, moving to her neck, from one side to the other, running his tongue all over. that white, smooth, delicate skin.

Mira moaned over his kisses, he could feel her hairs rise under his hand and lips. She wrapped her arms over him, bringing him closer as she stroked his back. She wouldn't let him take the initiative while she was doing nothing. As Ryker focused on his neck, she focused on his ear, nipping at his earlobe and running her tongue along his neck, gently. Ryker moaned under her attack, Mira smirked intensifying her touch and he did the same. The kisses, the bites and the touches grew more intense and the heat was suffocating.

Ryker ran his right hand over Mirajane's voluptuous body, down to her left leg, pulling her up. He ran a hand over Mira's thigh, making her shiver, she sighed with every touch. He knew Mira had beautiful legs, but touching and squeezing her beautiful, shapely thighs was heaven. Mirajane knew they would be booked for the next day. His kisses and bites on each one's neck weren't the most gentle in the world, and his hands on her ass made her force kisses on him even more. And what a ass, Ryker could say.

"You're a bad girl," Ryker said with his lips brushing hers.

"Of course I am", she smiled mischievously pulling him in for another smoldering kiss.

The two ended up sleeping huddled together, cupping each other. The next day arrived soon and there were little big marks on each one's neck. But work was work and they would meet with Levy to continue their research.

To Levy's surprise, Mira was wearing a turtleneck and Ryker had the collar of his jacket turned up. Levy smiled at them both and they both knew she knew. Even though the two of them didn't go beyond making out last night.

Gajeel was doing something in town, staying all day in a library was too much for Dragon Slayer. The other three were doing their research, trying to decipher what those symbols meant.

A few hours passed and many books were read, apparently they were finally getting somewhere.

"I think I did it," sighed Levy wearily.

"Did you find out what they mean, Levy?" Mira asked excitedly.

"Yes, but apart they say nothing. Now I would need to know how they were on the wall to get a logical line and decipher what it all meant."

"Ah… that will be a problem. We didn't have anything to record," Mira said crestfallen.

"The way is to go back to the cave," concluded Levy.

Ryker watched the two, he knew that going back would be dangerous, even more so for Levy and his son or daughter. But he could help with that

"I don't think we need to go back there for that," he said, catching the two mages' attention.

"What do you have in mind?" Mira asked.

"Come, Mira," he called to her. "You and I paid a lot of attention in that place. I think we can assemble in order with what we have here. We were able to remember each one of them, we can do that.

Mira cracked a smile and went to work with him, piecing together the order of the symbols they'd seen in the mountains. Levy saw them work like a great pair, they were perfectly in sync, as if they'd known each other for a long time.

After a long time and some tweaking, Mira and Ryker finalized the diagram, containing all the symbols they found and in the order they had seen it.

"That's it? Was that how it was?" Levy asked.

"I have no doubts," Ryker said with conviction.

"I corroborate. That's what we saw," Mira confirmed.

"Well, I think I can translate and see what this is all about now", the little one began to do her work.

With nothing else to do, Mira and Ryker went out to eat and have a drink at a nearby diner. They talked about the mission and stuff, they brought something for Levy, it wasn't good for her to go too long without food, being pregnant and the white haired mage smiled with her boyfriend's concern for another member of her guild. It filled her chest with happiness.

Levy worked for hours and the day was drawing to a close, the sun setting, coloring the sky and clouds in a reddish-orange hue. That's when Script's little mage deciphered everything.

"Found it!" Levy yelled in ecstasy, glad for her accomplishment.

"And what does it say?" asked Ryker.

Levy took one last look at his work and his face changed from gleeful to strained, looking at the other two wizards.

"Is something wrong, Levy?" Mira asked worriedly.

"Yes…I mean, what is said here…this is an invocation," the little girl said.

"What do you mean?" Ryker asked.

"All these symbols, arranged in the order you saw… This is a summoning of Balor," Levy said in amazement. "Was there a body in the caves?", she asked, scared.

"Ah…yes, there was one. He looked like a mummy. Does this have something to do with all this?" Ryker asked.

"For the summoning to work, a human sacrifice was necessary," Levy explained.

"Wait!" Mira intervened. "What exactly are we dealing with?"

"I'm not sure," Levy said. "This Balor, who was summoned, appears to be some kind of demon, and..."

"We have to know what exactly what Balor is," Ryker interrupted Levy. "But we have another question now", they both looked at him curiously. "If he was summoned… who summoned him? And why?", everyone looked at each other without answers.

"That we will have to find out in Larvik," Mira said.

"We already have a lot to do and now we have to know why someone summoned this creature," Ryker sighed irritably.

Mira put a hand on his shoulder in comfort. "Let's focus on our primary objective."

"Let's find out who this Balor is and how to defeat him," Ryker said and looked at Levy, getting a good idea. "Could you and Gajeel come back with us and help us with this job?"
