A.N. — Now, the star of Hagrid's first Care of Magical Creatures class. It's during the first week of school, so this is close enough, date-wise. I thought about doing Walden Macnair with Buckbeak, but he never actually got to execute the hippogriff.
252. Buckbeack
Ignorance really was bliss for Buckbeak.
The big fuzzy one took good care of him, showed him the proper respect. He had plenty of space to roam around in, and a belly full of delicious ferrets. What more could a hippogriff ask for?
He got an up and down afternoon.
It was of no consequence to Buckbeak that his actions during class had started legal proceedings against him. He'd been slighted, and had collected recompense. The blonde, even though he was a child, had it coming. The bespectacled one, he knew to treat a hippogriff with the honor they deserved.
