A.N. — These next four days are a complete canonical void, so I am taking the opportunity to examine multiple generations of an entire family. They have a reputation, but do they all deserve it? Let's find out.
264. Amycus Carrow
Amycus was honored to be teaching Dark Arts at Hogwarts, no matter how it'd come about.
The Death Eaters had their differences with Dumbledore, but he had still run the world's premier magical school. And now, Amycus was among its faculty, reviving a course that should've always been on the books. Durmstrang prided itself in its open curriculum emphasizing Dark Arts. But thanks to that turncoat Karkaroff, the Scandinavian school had little clout.
In his new position, Amycus was given free reign to loose his aggression on the students. After all, teaching by pain was a hallmark of the subject.
