Chapter 11: Jamaica Me Sweat

Review Responses

Guest A: 1. Depending on the ending, I either love it or hate it 2. Thanks. 3. If you say so... 4. Maybe now, maybe never! 5. Yeah, Creepypastajack has some very unusual opinions, doesn't she? Then again, so do I. 6. A wise thing to surmise. 7. I don't know what you're referring to... 8. I may have seen some art on DeviantArt that sorta converted me... 9. Not bad!

Egor1580: Thank you.

CodyFanatic: OkShirt sounds right. Oh yes, Izzy has certainly been compromised hasn't she?

Tylus: Sorry, man. Looks like Alejandro is hitting you right where it hurts.

LaCuevademisgustos: 1. We'll see... 2. Apparently nobody's a fan of it. 3. okey-doke. 4. Thank you!

SilentSinger948: Trent and Courtney interacted in Chapters 1, 5, and 7, you know.

MDReborn: Fair enough.

C26F: Ah, you spotted the reference! Cool! Thank you for your support!

SuperSonicHeroes: Really speaks to Alejandro's skills of seduction, doesn't it? We'll see how Owen takes it, as well as Noah's chances of staying in the game.

Gucci Mane LaFlare: Thank you.

AnonBrowser: Yup, three characters you don't like eliminated in a row will undoubtedly make you happy. But Alejandro interfering in a treasured romance? Don't blame you for getting angry at him. I guess I did too good a job at hiding Trent's crush on Courtney early on.

thedragonrooster: Thank you very much!

AstridEstelle: Yes, what TDA did to Gwent and Duncney is hardly forgivable. Though I am glad I'm handling Gwuncan well. As for Trentney, I wouldn't call it pairing the spares, I'd say it's more mixing and matching.

lordgemini: Yes, I know orcas aren't whales. I also know they're not dolphins either, they're actually porpoises! Then again, dolphins and porpoises are just small whales anyway... But back on topic, I never thought I'd get criticized for writing Katie OOC, XD. Anyway, thanks!

Crosshot: Someone's gotta go in every episode. Katie and Sadie always felt like fodder, never characters meant to go far. But thanks, anyway!

amit avrashmi: If you say so.

"Previously on Total Drama World Tour!" Chris narrated. "Newfoundland showed us a whale of a time! The teams had to race there to avoid being stuck gutting fish! The two teams that got outta that were the manly Minotaurs and the ironically-named Team Victory. Which meant that Team Amazon had to shuck a bunch of clams or vote someone off! Teehee! As if I would have actually let them all stay anyway! In the end, it was Team Victory that got their second victory, meaning that they're now tied with Team Amazon for wins, who by the way, got rid of some dead weight in the form of Katie. We still have sixteen players fighting for a million clams! Will Team Minotaur win again? Or will they finally lose? Find out now! On Total… Drama… World Tour!"

After the theme song, we cut to the outside of the McLean Jumbo Plane flying through heavy rain. For those in First Class, this was of no concern. The three members of Team Victory were all currently enjoying cucumber facials along with a guest by the name of Tyler. With Ezekiel out of the picture, the jock was more than happy to accept Lindsay's invitation to First Class. DJ had invited Duncan up, but the punk declined for some reason. DJ brushed it off, figuring he wanted to be with his team or that he would like to have earned his place in First Class.

"Man, winning really is everything!" Justin commented.

"Enjoy it while it lasts!" said Tyler, half-bragging, half trying to sound wise.

"We are, man!" said DJ. "We are!"

"Man, I am like so relaxed right now! I think even my brain's asleep!" Lindsay exclaimed. She brought a cup of coffee to her mouth but since she was leaning back in a recliner, she ended up spilling it on her chest. "Ah! Yup, totally asleep!" she giggled. She then gave a nostalgic sigh.

Meanwhile, those in Economy were experiencing more discomfort than usual. Thanks to the heavy rain, the shoddy cabin was leaking.

"Economy can kiss my ass!" Heather complained.

"Oh, will you shut up?" Gwen snapped.

"We haven't won First Class since New York!" Courtney pointed out. "By the time we win our way back in, the whole place is going to smell like dude!"

"And loser!" Heather added.

"Yeah well, I'll take dude or loser over leaks any day!" Gwen commented.

Meanwhile, on Team Minotaur's side, Alejandro was absent, having gone to the back to take a shower. Izzy had just gotten up and walked into the cargo hold. Something Owen seemed quite relieved by.

"Good. She's gone." He whispered to Noah.

"Mm-hm." Noah nodded.

"You don't think I should call things off with her, do ya, Noah?"

Confessional: Noah

"Actually, I do think Owen should break up with Izzy. She's a maniac whose idea of affection is somewhat abusive. But I don't want relationship drama throwing a wrench into my alliance."

End Confessional

"Let's not do anything drastic." Noah whispered back. "Just put up a few boundaries with her."

"How do I do that?"

"Just tell her that you love her and that you don't wanna have to leave her, but you will if you have to for your own safety. That should spook her into cleaning up her act without hurting her feelings."

"Sounds good."

Just then, Izzy returned.

"Hey, Big O!" she greeted in singsong. "I have a surprise for you!"

"A surprise?" said Owen, nervously. "Uh, cool! What is it?"

"I'm breaking up with you!" Izzy said, a pleasant smile on her face.

"Oh, that's a relief." said Owen. "WHOA-WHOA-WHOA! WHAT?!"

"I'm breaking up with you!" Izzy repeated, as though she thought Owen didn't hear her. Every pair of eyes in the vicinity had turned toward the crazy redhead in shock, including Heather and Eva's.

"Break- Me- WHY?!" Owen stammered.

"Simple! We have nothing in common and are completely incompatible! Therefore, I'm breaking up with you! Bye-bye!" Izzy backflipped out of Economy, leaving everyone staring after her, utterly flabbergasted.

Confessional: Gwen

"Okay, seriously. What kind of psychopath smiles while dumping someone?"

End Confessional

A few minutes earlier…

Alejandro had left the water running in the Economy shower stall in order to obtain an alibi for what he was actually doing. In reality, he was in the cargo hold.

"Aw, Isabelle! You came!" the Spaniard greeted.

"Of course." she said. "What did you want to say?"

"Izzy, I must admit that I am in love with you!" the Spaniard confessed. Izzy's eyes went wide. For the first time in her life, she was at a loss for words.

"Wow… I… Wow-ee…"

"Truly, I am! You have the spirit of a lion and the grace of a swan! Tell me, Izzy, do you feel the same?"

"I… I... yeah… Yeah, I do!"

"Then you know what you must do."

"Break up with Owen?"

"Yes. That would be the right thing to do. The thought of infidelity is just disgusting!"

"I guess so…" Izzy muttered. She looked down in thought. "It just seems like such a scummy thing to do to Owen. I mean, he's as loyal and caring a boyfriend as they come!"

"Loyal?" Alejandro repeated incredulously. "Is that why he threw you at whom he believed to be a bloodthirsty murderer to save his own skin?" Izzy blanched. "And if he's so caring, then why isn't he helping you deal with your aerophobia? A real man would set his fears aside to comfort his woman! Haven't I been doing the same all season?"

"Um… hold that thought!" Izzy walked away from Alejandro. Less than a minute later, he heard Owen crying out in shock. Shortly after, Izzy returned.

"The deed is done!" she reported, smiling. "Glad I got that off my chest!"

"So am I." said Alejandro.

Meanwhile, up in the cockpit…

A small red lightbulb on the dashboard began flashing.

"Yo, Chef." said Chris. "What's this supposed to mean?"

"I dunno! It might mean that there's something out of the ordinary!" Chef growled sarcastically.

"Right. Is there a manual for this plane?"

Chef passive-aggressively fished out a large book entitled Airplanes For Dumbasses from under his seat and handed it to Chris.

"Mm-hm." said Chris, satisfied. But instead of opening it, Chris slammed the spine of the book onto the flashing red light, destroying it.

BAM!

"There! Problem solved!" Chris declared, throwing the book over his shoulder.

"We're out of gas!" Chef barked.

"Out of gas?" Chris replied stupidly. Suddenly, the engine began sputtering.

"Yeah! 'Cause you spent all our gas money!"

Chris grabbed the radio for the intercom.

"Attention, passengers!" Chris called. "Due to mechanical difficulties, the plane will be making an unscheduled emergency water landing! Please buckle up and brace for impact!"

The campers, quite frightened, strapped themselves in as the plane began to descend quite swiftly. If it weren't for Chef's skills, the plane would have been totaled as would everyone inside. He managed to land on a beach near a resort.

Five minutes, later the contestants had all bounced out of the plane via an inflatable slide.

"Two airports on an island the size of a postage stamp, and he misses both!" Chris complained. "Yet, somehow, it's my fault!"

"You blew our gas money on Chris McLean memorabilia!" Chef countered.

"Excuses, excuses, excuses!" Chris muttered dismissively. He turned to the campers. "Alright, contestants! Even though the plane is busted and out of gas, the show must go on! We can't waste any of this footage! Think of the hits we'll get on YouTube!"

"But where are we?" Tyler asked.

"Jamaica, mon!" Chris answered, with an accent.

"Jamaica? Sweet!" DJ cried.

"Oh yeah! You were born here, weren't you?" said Lindsay.

"We were supposed to do the challenge in Ocho Rios, but since somebody forgot how to glide, we'll have to do the challenge here! And fast! Before whoever owns this place shows up and asks for a location fee!"

"Didn't you guys budget for the whole season?" Noah asked.

"Some things cost more than expected!" Chris explained. "Airplane-ready hot tubs don't grow on trees you know!"

"You must have an emergency fund!" Heather reasoned.

"Well… yeah… but I was saving it for… well…"

"For what?!" Gwen snapped. "What could possibly be more important than gas?!"

"I… guess you're right!" Chris sighed. "Still, the plane's busted and it will take a couple of hours to fix! Though we should be able to leave by dusk! Now everyone, get your board shorts on and meet me at that waterfall!"

Twenty minutes later, everyone met up with Chris at the edge of a cliff in their swimsuits. Alejandro wore a red speedo, Sierra wore a yellow bikini, Lindsay wore her green bikini, and Owen wore the saddest expression anyone had ever seen him with. On the way, Tyler asked Trent why.

"Hey, Trent, why does Owen look so down?"

"Izzy dumped him." the musician reported.

"You're kidding!"

"She did it right in front of all of us."

"Why?"

"No idea! Sure, Izzy's… spontaneous but this makes less sense than usual!"

Around this time they arrived at the cliff. Chris was already there, dressed in a Jamaican shirt and hat. Noah laughed at him.

"Pretty blouse!" he sarcastically complimented the host.

"It's a dashiki, mon!" Chris corrected.

"Yeah! A woman's dashiki!" DJ pointed out.

"What?!" Chris cried. The contestants snickered. All except for Owen and Courtney.

"Can we get to the challenge, please?!" the latter griped.

"Yeah, sure!" said Chris. "I like to call our first challenge 'The Treasure Hunt of Death!' We were supposed to do this at Dunn's River Falls but this more dangerous-looking waterfall will have to do!"

The contestants looked over the cliff. It was about a hundred feet high. Several waterfalls were coming out of caves in the side of the cliff, pouring into a treacherous-looking lagoon with sharp rocks and suspicious silhouettes moving through the water.

"Your challenge begins with a dive off beautiful… Wherever-We-Are Falls, into the lagoon far below!"

"Which is full of what, sharks?" Noah asked.

"Electric eels?" Izzy asked.

"Nope!" said Chris. Everyone sighed in relief. "Sharks and electric eels!"

Everyone groaned.

"Players must take turns diving into the infested waters for as long as you can hold your breath to search the lagoon floor for pirate treasure! AKA the gold chains Chef wears on karaoke night! Once you come up for air, your turn is over and you'll have to climb back up the cliff and tag another teammate so they can go! The team that brings me Chef's treasure wins a major advantage in the next challenge! So good luck!"

"Oh boy. Another water challenge." DJ groaned, dismayed.

"Uh, yeah, dude. Didn't Chris make that clear when he told us to get our swimsuits?" Justin asked.

"Hey, a guy can hope, can't he?" DJ reasoned.

"It's okay, DJ!" said Lindsay. "Justin and I will handle this!"

"We will?" said Justin.

"It's Tyler time!" cried Tyler.

Confessional: Lindsay

"He tries so hard!"

Confessional: Alejandro

"Lucky I don't need Tyler for his brains! His vote will do just fine!"

End Confessional

Lindsay, Sierra, and Tyler stood at the edge of the cliff.

"Ready… Steady… Freddy… GO!" Chris called. The three jumped. They all submerged simultaneously and stayed underwater for several seconds. Lindsay and Sierra were unable to search for the treasure as they were distracted by a shark. Tyler landed away from said shark and began searching for the treasure, but couldn't see anything clearly.

Confessional: Tyler

"I don't see very well underwater. I guess it's a trade-off for my super strong fingers."

End Confessional

Sierra and Lindsay beached themselves, coming up empty-handed.

"Woohoo! I got the chains!" Tyler cried, holding up an electric eel. "Uh-oh!"

BZZT!

Sierra made it back up the cliff before Lindsay and tagged Heather, who got into a diving position.

"You have beautiful form!" Alejandro complimented.

"Wha-?!" Heather yipped. She then lost her balance and fell off the cliff with a lack of grace. She hit the surface with a painful smack. Those watching up above cringed.

"Nothing personal!" Alejandro cried. Heather growled before sinking beneath the surface. Tyler arrived and tagged Izzy. Meanwhile, Noah yanked the Spaniard back.

"What the hell, dude?!" he scolded.

"What? It benefited our team!" Alejandro defended.

"Not Heather! I don't give a rat's ass about her!"

"Then who-?"

"Izzy! That's who! I thought you were going to talk to her and tell her to ease up on Owen!"

"I did."

"Well, I don't know what dictionary you use, but your definition of ease up is way off!"

"What do you mean?"

"Izzy just dumped Owen!"

"She did?!" Alejandro pretended to be surprised and looked at Owen. His face was full of misery.

"Is that true, Al?" Owen asked.

"Yes, I'm afraid it is." Alejandro said mournfully. "I saw that Izzy was making you uncomfortable and I told her that that is not how she should be treating her boyfriend. She argued with me for a little bit and I told her to either treat you nicely or break up with you."

"What?"

"It was an expression… I didn't mean it literally…" Alejandro put his hands over his eyes. "Oh! It's all my fault! Forgive me, my friend!"

"It's okay, Al…" Owen sighed. "Not your fault, anyway… Izzy's way too unpredictable…"

A tear rolled down Owen's face. Alejandro was tempted to lick it.

Confessional: Alejandro

"I hate to see the big guy so sad. But not as much as I hate to see him happy!" (Laughs cruelly, then sighs in satisfaction) "Revenge is so sweet!"

End Confessional

"Hey, guys! Look what I found!" Izzy called, running back up the cliff with a grandfather clock she had pulled out of the lagoon. "You think it still works?"

"Izzy, tag me!" Eva snapped. The crazy redhead set the clock aside and tagged her only female teammate. Meanwhile, Heather had just come back up.

"Ugh, I think I'm getting burnt!" Gwen muttered, holding up her arms in discomfort. Heather slapped the goth's left arm. "Ow!"

Gwen dived as soon as Justin came back up and tagged Lindsay again. She submerged to find Eva beating up a shark. The female bully had seized the shark by its throat and knocked out two to three teeth per punch. The shark, however, seemed to have plenty of backup teeth and they regrew as fast as Eva could knock them out. By the time she and Gwen ran out of breath, she had acquired almost thirty shark teeth, though the shark itself didn't look like it lost any. They both ran back up.

"Hey, guys!" Eva called. "Who wants some shark teeth?" She dumped her stash of shark teeth at her feet. Almost every male in the vicinity raced to get a sample, as did Izzy, Gwen, and Sierra. Meanwhile, Eva tagged Duncan who jumped off the cliff in conjunction with Cody and Justin.

CRACK!

Justin wasn't looking where he was going and landed on a rock. Lindsay and DJ gasped.

"Justin!" the formerly dumb blonde cried as the model slid painfully into the lagoon.

"Don't worry, I'm coming!" DJ called, jumping. He dove into the water and came out ten seconds later with an unconscious Justin, he quickly carried his teammate back up to the cliff, where Chris was radioing for medical help.

"Oh my gosh!" Lindsay fretted. "Is he gonna be okay?"

"I think so." said DJ.

"Very heroic, DJ!" said Chris. "Unfortunately, by jumping off the cliff while your teammate was still down there, you broke the rules! Which means you're disqualified from this part of the challenge!"

"What?!" DJ cried.

"Oh, come on!" Lindsay whined.

Meanwhile, Duncan had come up carrying Cody over his shoulder. The geek looked unconscious.

"Cody!" Sierra cried. Duncan quickly brought him up to the cliff.

"What happened to him?" Heather demanded accusingly.

"I saw a shark beating the crap out of him!" Duncan answered.

"Bullshit!" Heather cried. "Sharks don't beat people up! They eat them!"

"Yeah, well, this one was punching Cody in the face!"

"You mean you were punching Cody in the face!"

"Believe what you wanna believe!"

"Vengeance!" Sierra cried. She tagged Cody and hopped off the cliff with a fire in her eyes. Meanwhile, Duncan tagged Noah. Neither contestant came up with anything useful. As Alejandro and Heather took their turns, Gwen watched over the side, looking for areas the contestants hadn't explored yet. She noticed that everyone was avoiding a certain area close to the cliff that seemed to be crackling with electricity. Once Heather came back up, she tagged Courtney, but Gwen stopped her before she could jump.

"Hold on!" Gwen stalled.

"What?" Courtney asked.

"I think the treasure is over there!" The goth pointed to the area near the cliff.

"Over there? There's electric eels over there!" Courtney pointed out. "It's the most dangerous place down there!"

"Exactly! Isn't that where Chris is most likely to hide something?" Gwen reasoned.

"Hm… good point." Courtney admitted. She ran over to the other side of the cliff and jumped. Gwen, Heather, and Sierra watched anxiously as Courtney stayed underwater for three minutes. Suddenly, she emerged, twitching violently and surrounded by eels. The contestants all cringed. Trent looked back just in time to see Alejandro arrive back at the jumping area. The musician ran to the Spaniard, tagged him, and launched himself off the cliff. He landed mere feet away from Courtney. Thirty seconds later, Trent came out of the water holding Courtney bridal style. While concerned for her, Trent couldn't help but let a proud smile worm onto his mouth. He got to the top of the cliff just as soon as the paramedics arrived to look at Justin and Cody.

"Courtney!" Gwen called. "I am so sorry!"

"No…" Courtney muttered, barely conscious. "No, you were right!"

"I was?" Gwen was stunned. She was expecting Courtney to blame her for getting her hurt.

"Yeah. It's in a giant oyster over there!" the CIT whispered loudly.

"The treasure?"

"Yeah, go!" Courtney weakly tagged Gwen, and the goth took off. Upon entering the water, she quickly located the oyster and swam towards it. Sure enough, there was a large golden necklace and medallion nestled within. The goth checked for eels, seized the treasure, and swam to the surface.

"I got the gold!" she cried. Heather and Sierra cheered.

SPLASH!

Suddenly, Owen came careening down into the water, creating a massive splash similar to the one he had made during the first challenge of Season One. The splash was so immense, that it sent water up to the top of the cliff. Gwen was flung ashore. She was briefly stunned before she ran up the cliff and delivered the necklace to Chris.

"One pirate necklace, hold the onions!" Gwen proclaimed proudly.

"Team Amazon wins Round One!" Chris declared, taking the chains from Gwen. Heather and Sierra cheered again. Chris turned to the camera to throw to commercial.

"Will, Justin, Cody, and Courtney recover? Will Chef fix the plane so we can leave here while I'm still young?"

"I dunno! Did we land in the seventies?" Noah snarked. The contestants burst into laughter. Offended, Chris lunged at Noah, intending to shove him off the cliff. Eva saw this and quickly pulled Noah out of Chris's path, resulting in the host falling off the cliff instead. This led to more laughter. Chris reemerged and continued his sign-off.

"Twerp… Find out after the break!"

After the commercial break, we cut to the contestants walking down the cliff to the beach. Team E-Scope had lagged behind significantly.

"Izzy," said Noah like a stern father. "Has Alejandro been talking to you?"

"Of course he has, silly! He's on my team!"

"True, but what has he been talking about?"

"Um… jelly beans?"

"Did he talk you into breaking up with Owen?"

"Of course not! You're crazy!" Izzy gave a nervous laugh as Noah glared hard at her.

"Eva, I think she's hiding something. You think you can persuade the Queen of Hearts here to spill her guts?" Noah asked.

"Sure. Just let me find a shovel."

"Okay! Okay! Alejandro pointed out to me that Owen is not exactly good boyfriend material!"

"…I see." said Noah seemingly satisfied.

Confessional: Izzy

"He doesn't suspect a thing! Ha-ha! What a dumbass!"

Confessional: Noah

"What was I thinking, trusting that eel?!"

End Confessional

We cut to Chris and the contestants (minus Courtney, Cody, and Justin) on the beach. Chris had ditched his Jamaican garb, leaving him in just his swim trunks and sandals.

"Team Amazon!" Chris greeted Gwen, Heather, and Sierra. "As the winners of this challenge, you've also won this advantage for Round Two!"

The host gestured to Chef, who was wearing a bicycle helmet. The big man tapped on the helmet to signify that it was their reward. Rather than happy, the Amazons became worried, as did the rest of the contestants.

"Helmets?!" Heather cried.

"This cannot be good." Gwen muttered.

"It's time for your next challenge! It's a little something I like to call, 'The Bobsled of Death!' Ta-da!"

The contestants all turned around and, to their horror, beheld a ramshackle bobsled course built out of various pieces of lumber, metal, and concrete. It looked incredibly dangerous. The inclines were steep and the turns were sharp. There were a few jumps and even a loop-da-loop. The contestants burst into frightened exclamations.

"This one's gonna hurt!" DJ commented.

"Yeah! The intern who tested it will be out of commission for… eight months, was it?" Chris asked Chef mischievously.

Meanwhile, over at the infirmary, an intern encased in a body cast just flat-lined. This woke up Courtney.

"Huh? Where am I?" she asked. She sat up in her bed. She looked to her left to see Cody and Justin in adjacent beds. Cody was seemingly unconscious, but wasn't as heavily bandaged as Justin.

Back with Chris…

"We can't afford bobsleds!" Chris informed the contestants. "So you're gonna ride longboards in teams of two, bobsled style, down Chef's track and into the pool! Each team gets four runs! At the end, the team with the shortest total time wins! Everyone ready?"

The teams looked at each other nervously.

"Um, ladies first!" said Tyler.

"Sure." Eva grunted neutrally.

"Ooh! Fun!" Izzy cheered.

"Looks like it's just you and me, Lindsay." said DJ.

"That works for me!" said Lindsay sweetly.

"I won the last challenge." Gwen pointed out. "Why don't you two gal pals test the waters?"

"Fine." said Heather, rolling her eyes.

The bobsled course began at another high vantage point. The first round of contestants climbed up the stairs to it, carrying what looked like oversized skateboards. These included Heather & Sierra, Eva & Izzy, and DJ & Lindsay. The Amazons had bicycle helmets fastened to their heads.

"Teehee! Classic Chris!" Sierra giggled.

"How are you laughing?" Heather scolded.

"Simple! Chris gave us helmets in order to scare us into thinking that the challenge is far more dangerous than it actually is!"

"That doesn't mean it's not dangerous!"

"Of course not!"

Sitting by the empty swimming pool where the bobsled course ended was Chris. He was being served a nice refreshing drink by a female intern. A bullhorn sat by his chair. The contestants leered at him impatiently.

"Guys! Guys, wait! I'm okay!" came Courtney's voice. The CIT came running up to Gwen.

"Darn. No vacation." Duncan sighed. Trent frowned at him. Gwen seemed much happier than Duncan to see Courtney.

"Oh, you're good to compete?" the goth asked.

"That's what the doctors say!"

"Good! I was worried I'd have to bobsled with Heather or Sierra!"

Confessional: Gwen

"It really says something about your team when Courtney is the most tolerable teammate."

End Confessional

Chris picked up the bullhorn.

"COURTNEY'S BACK!" he announced to those at the top.

"Good! This means we only have to go twice each!" Sierra told Heather.

"We should only have to go once each!" Heather griped, looking jealously at Eva and Izzy.

"Hey, we can't help if we're the best team ever!" Izzy bragged.

"ROUND ONE: TEAM AMAZON!" Chris announced. Heather and Sierra nervously stepped up to the edge of the course. Heather was in front and Sierra was in back. "READY, GIRLS?"

"Ready!" Sierra cried confidently. Heather remained quiet. Before she could work up the nerve, Chris honked the bullhorn.

BEEP!

"GO!" the host called. Sierra and Heather launched themselves onto the course. Its bumpiness was nausea-inducing. The contestants on the ground looked quite intimidated, especially after the jumps and loop-da-loop. Heather was screaming throughout the entire run. Thankfully, they made it to the end of the course without injury. They did, however, slam into the wall of the swimming pool.

SMACK!

The contestants all winced. Chris didn't seem phased at all.

"Forty-nine-point-eight-nine seconds is the time to beat!" he announced. "TEAM MINOTAUR! YOU'RE UP!"

Eva and Izzy stepped up. Eva was in the back and Izzy was in front.

"Too bad we only get to go once!" Izzy commented. "This looks fun!"

"Quiet!" Eva snapped. "I'll take care of this! You just stay still!"

"Ooh! Even better!"

BEEP!

"GO!" Chris called. Eva launched Izzy and herself onto the course. There was a lot less screaming this time around. Izzy whooped and cheered every five to ten seconds. Eva was silently concentrating on completing the course. She managed to tune Izzy out for the most part but it did mess up their landing. The two tomboys crashed headfirst into the side of the pool with an even more gruesome impact than Heather and Sierra.

"Forty-five-point-zero-one seconds!" Chris announced. "That puts Team Minotaur in the lead!"

Eva and Izzy staggered around the pool, dazed and disoriented. The contestants all cringed.

"Good thing Eva and Izzy have such thick skulls, am I right?" Chris laughed.

"Ow…" Eva moaned. "You okay, Izzy?

"I'm great! I've been hoping for a concussion this bad all my life!"

"What?"

"You see, I'm actually a super-genius! The only reason I haven't acted like one is because there's a blockage in my brain! This injury may have dislodged the blockage and made me super-intelligent again! Go ahead! Ask me a question! Anything!"

"How has no one murdered you yet?"

"Seven!"

The two female Minotaurs climbed out of the pool after half a minute of regaining their bearings.

"Well done, ladies!" Alejandro complimented.

"Uh, it was like ninety-nine percent me." said Eva.

"ALRIGHT, VICTORY TWINS! YOU'RE UP!" Chris announced.

"Victory twins?" Lindsay asked.

"YEAH! I'D SAY 'TEAM' BUT YOU'RE MORE OF A DUO NOW! READY?"

"Team Victory, ready!" DJ cried. He was in front and Lindsay was in back.

BEEP!

Lindsay kept her eyes closed as she let DJ navigate the course. The gentle giant was being very careful to not fall off the course and to land in the pool without hurting Lindsay or himself. Impressively, he managed to land on his feet with Lindsay on his back.

"Fifty-two-point-zero-six!" Chris announced. "TEAM MINOTAUR TAKES ROUND ONE!"

"Um, we're all here now!" Courtney pointed out. "You don't need to use the bullhorn right now!

"MAYBE I JUST LIKE IT!" Chris roared into the horn, causing everyone to cover their ears. "ROUND TWO!"

The second batch of contestants climbed up to the start of the course. These included Gwen & Courtney, Duncan & Trent, and DJ & Lindsay. Team Amazon, with helmets strapped to their heads, got down and waited for Chris to start the challenge. Courtney was in front and Gwen was in back.

"Your lawyers know the show's contract inside and out, right?" Gwen asked.

"Sure do!"

"They didn't sneak in a release form or wavier or anything that could let Chris get away with letting us die, right?"

"Not in my contract!" Courtney bragged. "But who knows what he put in everyone else's?"

Gwen paled. Duncan glared at his girlfriend.

"Let's just keep each other alive, so we can vote Heather off the next time we have the chance!" Gwen proposed.

"Good idea!" said Courtney.

BEEP!

Gwen and Courtney shot onto the course. There was quite a bit of yelling but the two girls seemed to work well together. At the end of the course, however, they were concentrating too hard on speed and not enough on landing, and they ended up meeting the same fate as Izzy and Eva.

CLUNK! CLUNK!

The contestants winced again. Gwen and Courtney staggered around the pool.

"Let's hear it for the helmets, people!" Chris called. "The girls come in at forty-four-point-six-seven seconds! Even better than the boy's first run!"

Gwen and Courtney attempted to high-five but missed.

"Ahem!" Eva grunted.

"Sorry! The tomboys' run!" Chris corrected. Eva seemed satisfied with that. "TEAM MINOTAUR!"

Trent and Duncan stepped up.

"Oh man! I'm not sure I can do this!" Trent muttered.

"Don't wimp out on me now, Elvis!" Duncan warned.

"I'm speaking from experience, dude! Season One, Owen gave me a concussion, Lindsay gave me food poisoning, and DJ shoved me out of a plane!"

"Well, I'm not Owen, Lindsay, or DJ, am I?" Duncan challenged.

"Yeah but…"

"Just trust your instincts!"

"…Alright!"

"We're ready, Chris!"

BEEP!

Duncan and Trent launched themselves down the course. Trent knew right away that he was wrong to worry. Duncan's fearlessness and confidence rubbed off on the musician, allowing the two to focus on navigating the course. The two Minotaurs landed on their feet.

"Forty-two-point-three-six seconds for the men!" Chris announced. "The Minotaurs beat their high score and extend their lead! READY, VICTORY?"

"Ready!" DJ cried.

"As ready as I'll ever be…" Lindsay muttered.

BEEP!

Once again, DJ began a determined but cautious run down the course. Lindsay was brave enough to open her eyes at this point. DJ landed with Lindsay on his back again. It was a flawless run, but they barely shaved any time off their first run.

"Fifty-point-nine-five! That's little more than a second off their first run!" Chris announced. He looked at his watch. "Alright, Team Minotaur maintains their lead with a combined total of one minute and twenty-seven seconds! That's a seven-second difference over the second-place Team Amazon, with one minute and thirty-four seconds! And unsurprisingly, Team Victory is in last with a minute and forty-three seconds! It'll take a miracle to get out of last place now!"

DJ and Lindsay sighed. The Amazons growled at the Minotaurs. Izzy made funny faces at the Amazons. Duncan and Trent fist-bumped.

Beep-beep!

"One second, kids!" Chris picked up his cell phone. After a minute, he hung up. "Okay! I have updates on Cody and Justin's conditions! Cody has woken up and will be fine! Justin, on the other hand, has been medically evacuated from the competition."

Sierra sighed in relief. Lindsay and DJ gasped.

"Is he gonna be okay?" DJ asked.

"He'll be fine!" said Chris. "After Leshawna's elimination, the lawyers have been nagging me about contestant injuries. So, from now on, injuries as severe as Justin's and Leshawna's will result in medical evacuation from the competition. And those who deliberately cause such injuries will also be disqualified!"

Eva gulped nervously.

"Since Justin's gone, we won't be needing another elimination tonight, right?" DJ asked worriedly.

"Wrong!" Chris announced. DJ and Lindsay gulped. "Alright! Round Three!"

The third round began, consisting of Heather & Sierra, Owen & Noah, and DJ & Lindsay.

BEEP!

Heather and Sierra went down again. Heather was less frightened than last time, being more concerned with beating Team Minotaur than surviving. That being said, she and Sierra barely beat their first run.

"That's forty-eight-point-three-nine! Better than their first run, but not by much! TEAM MINOTAUR!"

BEEP!

Next up were Noah and Owen. At first, Noah wasn't sure whether Owen's great weight would be an asset or a liability. Noah was the smallest person on his team, which was why he was selected to be Owen's partner. However, he still weighed too much to balance Owen out. As they went down the course, it became clear that Owen's girth had pros and cons. It really helped build up speed while going down but going up was a little tougher. However, when the pair did the loop-da-loop they went straight through a concrete tube. Owen proved to be too large for this tube and got stuck, completely halting their run. The other Minotaurs gasped.

"Come on! Suck it in!" Noah yelled, hanging from the big guy's ankle.

"MKMY!" Owen called, his voice muffled. Owen exhaled as hard he could and after a few seconds, he slipped through. At the end of the run, they faced a similar problem. The ramp leading to the pool had several more tunnels, hardly bigger than the first. As a result, the two squeezed their way out of the tunnels and into the pool, with Owen collapsing on top of Noah. The contestants all cringed.

"Fifty-eight-point-two-three seconds!" Chris announced. "Oof! That's gonna cost the guys! TINY VICTORY?"

"Wait, DJ!" said Lindsay. "I think you should be in back this time!"

"Are you sure?" DJ asked.

"Yeah! You're bigger than me! Your weight will be better in the back! I remember that from physics class!"

DJ and Lindsay switched positions.

"Ready!" Lindsay called.

BEEP!

DJ and Lindsay took off down the ramp. This time, Lindsay did most of the steering and they seemed to be going faster than usual. They landed on the edge of the pool, with Lindsay in DJ's arms.

"Forty-five seconds exactly!" Chris announced. "Way to go, guys!"

DJ and Lindsay cheered.

"Alright, we have a new leader! Team Amazon is now in first place with a combined total score of two minutes and twenty-two seconds! Team Minotaur is now in second with a score of two minutes and twenty-five seconds! And the Victory Twins remain in last, at two minutes and twenty-eight seconds! The teams are now within striking distance! It's anyone's game! Time for the fourth and final round!"

The final round of contestants made their way to the start of the course. These were Gwen & Courtney, Alejandro & Tyler, and of course, DJ & Lindsay. The atmosphere was tense. The Amazon pair had done this challenge once before and Team Victory thrice. Alejandro and Tyler had not gone at all, so they had no knowledge of how to navigate the course. This seemed to worry Tyler, but not Alejandro.

"All up to us now, Gwen." said Courtney. "We have to nail this!"

"How much do you weigh?" Gwen asked.

"Um… why?"

"Never mind! I'll go in front this time!"

"Are you saying I'm fat?"

"You're taller than me! So you might weigh slightly more! Don't take it personally."

"Fine!"

BEEP!

Gwen and Courtney took off. Lacking the nervousness from their first run and having a stronger desire to win, Gwen and Courtney did the course with little to no problems. They even landed on their knees as they finished.

"Forty-two-point-three-six! Good job, girls!" Chris announced. "Gwen and Courtney just tied with Duncan and Trent for the high score! That brings Team Amazon's final tally to three minutes and five seconds!"

Gwen and Courtney high-fived.

"But will it be enough? TEAM MINOTAUR!"

Tyler and Alejandro prepared to do the course.

"Should I trust my instincts?" Tyler asked.

"No." said Alejandro. "Pull your headband down and trust mine!"

"Whatever you say, Alejandro!" Tyler did as Alejandro said, blindfolding himself.

BEEP!

Alejandro and Tyler began their trip down the course. As they did, Alejandro looked for a vulnerable spot on the track. Eventually, he slammed his fist into a wooden board, causing it to split in half. The Spaniard grinned evilly as he focused on finishing the course.

"The men are in second place with a combined total score of three minutes and sixteen seconds! TEAM VICTORY! TIME TO DO OR DIE!"

"Oh boy…" Lindsay muttered. "What was our score last time?"

"Forty-five seconds." DJ answered.

"No, in total."

"Two minutes and twenty-eight seconds."

"So we need to do this in about… Oh boy! I'm so nervous, I can't even think straight!"

"Don't be, Linds!" DJ comforted. "We got this! Let's do it! Go, Team Victory!"

"Go, Team Victory! Woohoo!" Lindsay cried, smiling weakly.

BEEP!

DJ and Lindsay launched themselves down the course. As they did, Lindsay caught sight of Alejandro's sabotage and swerved to avoid it. This cost them a few seconds. The two desperately increased their speed, resulting in a rough landing for both of them.

"And Team Victory's final run is forty-seven-point-six-four seconds! Combining for a grand total of…" Chris paused for dramatic effect. Every contestant watched with great anticipation and suspense. "Three minutes and fifteen seconds!"

Teams Amazon and Victory cheered. Team Minotaur gasped.

"What?! We lost?!" Alejandro cried, looking shocked.

"The ladies win First Class tickets to our next stop!" Chris got up and started distributing the red First Class ticket to the Amazons.

"Ha! It's about time!" Heather exclaimed.

"Team Victory! Congratulations on not coming in last!" Chris told DJ and Lindsay as he handed out Economy tickets to them.

"I love you, DJ!" Lindsay exclaimed, hugging the gentle giant. Chris turned to the Minotaurs.

"As for Team Minotaur, you're facing elimination for the first time!" Chris told the team. The Minotaurs shook off their shock, becoming grumpy.

"Again, it's about time!" Heather boasted.

"Hey, guys!" said Cody, running up to his team. "What'd I miss? Did we win?"

"We sure did!" said Courtney. "No thanks to you!"

"Oops." Cody shrugged.

Confessional: DJ

"I'm glad we didn't lose. It would have been humiliating to be eliminated in my birth country!"

Confessional: Alejandro

"So we have our first loss. Hardly the end of the world, though. Our team could do with shedding a member or two, and there's a certain member of the E-Scope Alliance that needs to go!" (Grins wickedly)

Elimination Ceremony: Team Minotaur

The sun had finally set, both literally and on Team Minotaur's non-losing streak. The Minotaurs gathered at the beach for the ceremony, still in their swimwear. Team E-Scope sat in front, while Trent, Tyler, Duncan, and Alejandro sat in the back.

"Guys, I gotta admit!" said Chris. "I really am impressed with how long you went without losing! Really makes your defeat here all the more humiliating!"

Owen, Tyler, Trent, and Izzy frowned sadly. Duncan, Alejandro, Noah, and Eva leered grumpily at Chris.

"Here's how it's gonna work! I have your passports right here! Inside, you will find pictures of your teammates! You will take your passport into the voting booth, where you will find stickers of the Jamaican flag! Take one of those stickers and stick it on the picture of the person you'd like to kick off! Then come out and hand it to me! Got it?" Chris explained, feeling quite bizarre that he was explaining elimination this far into the game. The Minotaurs nodded in understanding.

"Good. Alejandro, you'll go first!" The host handed a passport to the Spaniard. He went into the voting booth and came out rather quickly. Noah was the only one to spot a smirk on his face before he had completely exited the booth.

Duncan was the next to vote, followed by Eva. Both of these brutes took noticeably longer than Alejandro. Izzy voted swiftly. Owen took the longest to vote out of all of them. Noah, Trent, and Tyler were quick with their votes.

"Alright! Time to hand out these tickets to loser class! If you do not get one, you'll be left behind!" said Chris. The Minotaurs cringed nervously. Each had a reason to fear elimination. "The first boarding pass of the night goes to…"

"Alejandro!"

"Next is Duncan!"

"Trent!"

"And Tyler!"

The first four Minotaurs sighed in relief and went to retrieve their tickets. They stayed behind to watch the rest of the ceremony. Currently, all four members of Team E-scope were in the bottom, and their anxiety increased.

"The next person safe from elimination is…"

"Eva!"

The big girl looked immensely relieved, like the time Heather had "found" her MP3 player.

"Owen!" Chris called. Owen hardly reacted, which was odd. The big guy was known for celebrating every good thing that came his way, no matter how small. Alas, today he just got up and silently took his ticket.

"That leaves Izzy and Noah." said Chris. "Noah. Making alliances and badmouthing your teammates behind their backs? Not smart dude! And Izzy! You broke poor Owen's heart today! Which you had every right to do, but it wasn't a smart move doing it in front of your entire team."

"Oops." Izzy eeped. She then chuckled nervously. "Teehee! Silly me!"

"The final boarding pass goes to…"

"Noah." said Chris.

"Phew!" said Noah, wiping the sweat off of his brow.

"WHAT?!" Izzy barked.

Noah walked up and swiped his ticket, trying not to look like he thought it was a big deal. The bookworm sort of empathized with Ezekiel, as he had also been the first contestant voted off of his team back on Total Drama Island. This wasn't as bad when he wasn't also the first one voted off overall, but it was still humiliating and insulting.

"Oh, I get it!" Izzy cried angrily. "You guys are all sexist! Blaming your first loss on the only girl and voting her off so that you can be a team of all guys!"

"A-hem!" Eva violently cleared her throat.

"You don't count, Eva! You're about as feminine as Chuck Norris!"

"Why you little-!" Eva growled. She lunged at the crazy redhead.

"Eva!" Alejandro and Noah called. Eva seized Izzy's throat and held her off the ground by her neck.

"For your information," Eva growled through her teeth. "A little birdie told us of your betrayal, psycho hose beast!"

"What?! Aw… shoot my monkey!" Izzy grunted. "What kinda bird? A cardinal? A toucan? A peacock?"

"An eel." said Noah. "Come on, Eva!"

Eva grunted, dropped Izzy, and boarded the plane, followed by Duncan, Trent, and Tyler. Owen followed them, refusing to look at Izzy. Noah on the other hand, shot Izzy a furious glare as he boarded. Alejandro was the last to board, and right as he was about to pass through the door, he turned and gave Izzy a smug smirk.

The crazy redhead gasped.

"Izzy's been bamboozled!" she uttered, as her luggage was tossed out.

Confessional: Alejandro

"Of course I meant Izzy! Sure, Noah's being sneaky and Owen's been insufferable… but if Izzy stays, then I have to pretend to be in love with her! A daunting task, obviously. Besides, I want to savor my revenge against Owen!"

End Confessional

The plane sputtered violently. After half a minute of struggling to start, the plane took off, spraying Izzy with sand. The crazy redhead decided that maybe now wasn't a good time to get back on the plane.

"So long, Jamaica!" Chris narrated from the cockpit. "Where will our travels take us next? Will Team E-Scope survive the elimination of one of its members? Find out next time! On Total… Drama… World Tour!"

Author's note: Well, this was up a little later than promised, so my apologies for that.

Finally, we have the long-awaited first elimination ceremony for Team Minotaur. Just goes to show how having three extra members can make all the difference. I wanted to reassure ya'll that Team Victory would not be losing this challenge, but that would have required spoilers. Setting up the elimination here was kinda tricky. At first, I thought of making this the first official double-elimination of the season, having the two teams that did not come in first face elimination. But I didn't think that'd be fair to Team Victory, so I had Justin seriously injured in the cliff diving challenge to emphasize how dangerous the challenge was.

Also, you'll notice that I removed the part where Izzy turned into Brainzilla. I did that because we already have a contestant whose intelligence has been drastically increased. I did have the idea of turning Izzy sane, much like Lindsay turning smart, but I felt she should be in her "normal" state of mind when she faces the consequences of betraying her alliance.

Speaking of which, Izzy has dumped Owen. Poor Owen. I removed the scenes of Gwen and Owen in the hospital for a few reasons. The first one is that the plane made a relatively safe landing compared to canon. The second is because I wanted Gwen to kick ass in this challenge. And the third and most important reason is… I honestly don't understand the friendship between the two TDI finalists. I won't go into detail here, but suffice to say, I always had trouble buying that Owen was Gwen's best friend at the end of TDI (unless I'm taking that one line way too literally).

And finally the elimination itself... Not gonna pretend that I ever loved Izzy. A sincere, heartfelt apology to her fans, but Alejandro needs that villain cred. Next up we have our second aftermath! Can't even guess on when that's gonna come out, but feel free to PM me ideas for it!
