A.N. — I got asked to do Lucius Malfoy's father in this space. Well, he's already done (Ch. 141), so you'll have to settle for a woman who gave birth to the person who wound up marrying Lucius instead. She's also one of those dreaded family tree tapestry-only characters.

281. Druella Black (née Rosier)

The Blacks, to Druella, were all shining stars in the galaxy that was pureblood society. But she was also a Rosier, so felt justified in eschewing her husband's family tradition of naming children after celestial bodies.

The first-born child was always going to get a star name, so Bellatrix was bestowed upon Druella's oldest daughter. Andromeda, too, saw Druella bow to Black family convention. But by her third pregnancy, she was ready for change. So Narcissa was named after an earthbound flower instead of a shining speck in the sky. Druella thought she was due some narcissism after three births.
