Greetings to all Sonic fans! I've made some time to get around to another chapter. And boy with the popularity of Sonic the Hedgehog from it's second film to even new games coming out, everybody is excited. And I got some surprises with new OCs joining in for the fun. And so now, here's the next chapter, so enjoy…

Chapter 04: Jungle Trouble

ONE WEEK AGO

INSIDE A MYSTIC JUNGLE TEMPLE

The scene opens to where there was a dark storm brewing as lightning strikes the ground and a hidden temple. Slowly it was causing horrible ghostly wails and laughter that echo in the hallways. And then we spot something rushing out of the temple hall, were three thieves being chased by some evil spirits? But these were no ordinary things, no far from it: they are the Babylon Rogues. A legendary band of thieves who have existed since ancient times, with the mantle of the group being inherited from one generation to the next. Each member's a descendant of the ancient Babylonians, an alien race of genie-like beings that got stranded on Earth in ages past. And in the present day, not only are they talented and professional group of present-day thieves, this trio is acclaimed world-wide for their Extreme Gear skills.

The first was an anthropomorphic male hawk with emerald green and dark emerald green feathers covering the body and white feathers on the front torso. On the arms near the wrists are dark emerald green fire-like markings. Has a golden beak and azure blue eyes with red and black markings on the sides. Hair is styled like a mohawk with dark emerald green tips. Also has three tail feathers with dark emerald green tips. For attire, wears a pair of white gloves that possess visible lining with red and black cuffs and dark gray bands around each wrist. Also wears red, black and white boots with gray soles, and goggles with yellow lenses, white frames and gray straps. This was Jet The Hawk, the leader of the current generation of Babylon Rogues. Known as the 'Legendary Wind Master' due to his mastery of Extreme Gear riding, earning him an impressive reputation. Cocky and brash, Jet's very arrogant, prideful, and always seeks riches and fortunes. He rarely takes his responsibilities seriously, though he knows how to assert his authority as the Babylon Rogues' leader. For all his shady characteristics though, Jet's an honorable Extreme Gear rider. Since losing to Sonic the Hedgehog in Extreme Gear, kept an intense rivalry with the hedgehog. Ever competitive, Jet has made it his foremost goal to best Sonic in speed and claim his title as the fastest thing in the universe.

The second was an anthropomorphic female swallow with light and dark purple feathers that cover the body and head. Hair is styled like a pair of long braids. On the arms near the wrists are light purple fire-like markings. Has a golden-curved beak, light purple eyelids, cobalt blue eyes, and two tail feathers. For attire, wears a white kerchief, white gloves that possess visible lining with golden bracelets and red lining, a white tube top, and dark purple flare-designed white trousers. Also wears red boots with white accents and gray soles, a white necklace with a red utility gem, and gray sunglasses with gold lenses. This was Wave The Swallow, the technical and mechanical expert of the current generation of Babylon Rogues, and takes care of her groups' customized Extreme Gears. Because of her knowledge on Extreme Gear, Wave's brimming with self-confidence and can be a bit of a trash-talker and highly critical of others' work with Extreme Gear. Hates thick-headed or stupid people and she tends to give advice only she can understand. Regardless, Wave's level-headed and serves as the voice of reason in the Babylon Rogues, though she is often mistreated by the other members.

The third was an anthropomorphic male albatross of hulking physique with gray feathers and white feathers covering the body. On the arms near the wrists are dark gray fire-like markings. Has light blue eyes with red and black markings around it, a golden beak and hair is short, similar to Wave's. For attire, wears tan gloves that possess visible lining with black bands, small goggles with yellow frames and white straps, a brown necklace with small gray pieces, and black, yellow and white sneakers with sock-like cuffs and gray soles. This was Storm The Albatross, the muscle of the current generation of Babylon Rogues. An imposing sight, this hulking individual possesses incredible physical strength, enabling him to destroy just about anything in his path. In general, Storm's somewhat dim-witted and slow on the uptake, but makes up for it in raw power. He's Jet's most loyal follower and right hand man. As such, he's always ready for Jet's assignments. Despite being committed to his duties though, Storm has a quick temper and his clumsiness constantly succeeds in embarrassing himself and his teammates.

Right at this moment, it appears that these Rogues had taken something from this hidden temple. But that's another story, as they continued to flee from the evil spirits chasing them.

"Hey Boss! These guys are showing up everywhere!?" Storm exclaim to say while they continue to run as fast as they can to get away from the evil spirits.

"No DUH! Babylon Rogues, we have to escape these guys! FAST!" Jet remarked the issue while ordering they continue to escape.

"Great idea, except how? Our feet can't outrun ghost!" Wave remarked about how they can get away from this problem of evil spooks.

"How else? We ride our way to freedom!" Jet grins with confidence when mentioning a secret phrase.

That's when the Babylon Rogues pulled out something to place beneath their feet. They were different hover boards with certain color themes matching the Babylon Rogues, and for their own theme for Speed, Tech, and Power. Using the Extreme Gear, the birds flew faster across the field to escape the chasing evil spirits until they were far out of sight.

"What I tell you, smooth sailing from here!" Jet smirks with pride that they were able to escape that problem.

"Ugh, the one day we're pulling a great heist, and another problem happens that we get caught in it." Wave groans from knowing they mind their own business. "My alert device showed us what the local news report the matter, and this Lord Zenn is a real problem." The whole world is falling apart after Lord Zenn began creating Zenn-Monsters all over to cause trouble.

"You're telling me, now we gotta watch out for who knows what may come at us." Jet exclaim from knowing they have to fight to survive or be turn into monsters.

"Boss! Something's coming at us!" Storm points to warn Jet of what he saw ahead of them.

Then the birds yelped as strange pink liquid was oozing around the front pathway. But then the pink liquid started to move on it's own, beginning to slowly rise up and take shape before solidifying into several humanoids. But these humanoids appeared to be dark grey skin creatures with red-pink line marking patterns in a horizontal style, gold knee and wrist bands, and had helmet heads style with white mouth guards, clear purple insect eyes, and had a small horn above the forehead area. They even carry strange club weapons that also appear to act like range weapons.

"Ugh….these things are disgusting!?" Almost…Putrid even!?" Wave protest in disgust at the mere sight of such horrible looking creatures.

"Ugh, so do we call them Putrids?" Storm scratch his head from guessing how to best describe these lookalike things.

"I don't care what we call them! Let's just get them out of our way!" Jet gave the harsh order for them to clear a path through these guys.

"POW-POW!" The Babylon Rogues immediately reacted when the Putrids positon themselves to kneel and aim their clubs…which released flamethrower shots. "BAM-BAM!" The explosive shots almost took out the Rogues, but using their Extreme Gear allowed the birds to evade. Wave swung her wrench, Jet his fan blades, and Storm plowed through with his arm strength. The birds cleared a path out of the weird little troopers, and were about to leave when…

"BELL RINGER!/DONG-DONG-DONG!" A loud echoy male voice was heard followed by the ringing of a bell gong.

When the strange soundwaves came pass the Babylon Rogues, causing them to lose focus and crash onto the ground. The three birds were holding their ears for dear life because the noise was too unbearable to endure.

"Uuuugh…Boss!? My Ears Are Ringing!?" Storm held his ears from trying to block out the loud noise.

"AHhhhh, Could Somebody Please….TURN DOWN THE RINGING!?" Jet shouted at the top of his lungs, unable to handle this ear-splitting pain.

"Ah…Over There!?" Wave groans to look in the direction the sound waves are coming from.

"GYahahahahahh…." That's when something was heard laughing before appearing from the woods: It resembles a dark green skin humanoid with web feet nails, spike knee pads, arms with wooden gauntlets with five finger hands, plus a wooden H-shape object off the shoulders. The weirdest thing was from the stomach up, the main body was a dark grey BELL: with forge sharp teeth, a cyclops yellow eye, and had two horns. This truly looked like a large temple bell but became a monster! "The name's Bell Org! Don't worry, it'll only hurt worse from here on." The strange bell monster proclaim what's coming is much worse.

"Ugh, Boss…Can I knock this guy's bell off!?" Storm asked from recovering enough to glare angrily at the guy messing with them.

"You do and it'll only make the ringing worse!?" Wave protest that if this monster had a bell body, they just might be adding more bell ringing problems to their ears.

"Well as long as it's over before we keep hearing more ringing, I don't care!" Jet protest that he wants to get this over with before it gets any worse.

Then as the Babylon Rogues were about to attack, something skid right pass them and knock the Extreme Gears off their feet. Apparently it was a black tire with silver steel belts, except it was so tall you think it belong to a monster truck? Then what happen was the tire transformed, revealing a black tire theme monster with tire ankles, an engine pipe off the chest, a large half loop tire over the head area. The scary thing was seeing wrinkled tire-face with a red paint mark in the middle near a red belt chin, and had one cyclops eye, plus two red horns. It was seen wielding tire-like axe weapons. Truth be told, it's like seeing a monster made entirely out of rubber, but it seem very real then a fake.

"Hey Tire Org! These birds were mine!?" Bell Org protest that he had first dibs on the birds.

"So what? I can run over anything I want!" The tire theme Zen-Monster named Tire Org protest about his own issues on wanting to flatten anything in his path.

"Pardon if I…STRIKE IN!" Then another voice was heard cutting into the moment.

Then without warning, trees were seen heard being knock down like bowling pins. The Babylon Rogues yelped to just evade the falling trees and more so…BOWLING BALLS!? And then something entered the scene that would just be freaky to believe it's real. Another problem that appeared like a bowling theme monster. It had a white body with black armor leg hands with bowling ball ankles above the silver bowling shoes, blue arms with black gloves with red spike bracelets, nails, with a bowling right wrist, plus had bowling ball shoulder pads. The weirdest sight was the large blue bowling ball head with a crescent smile across the right side over the ear to the bottom left, where only a yellow eye was seen, plus had two horizontal vertical style horns: one behind the left, and one on the right above the only eye area. If there was anything weird about this monster, it's that it's bowling maybe worse then how it looks.

"Bowling Org is in the house! And I scored a perfect ten!" The bowling Zen-Monster exclaim from having made a funny bowling pun.

"Then let me setup a line…" Then a deep voice male was heard also entering the scene.

Then a large amount of barb wire spread around nearly the entire area, forming like a jungle ring. The birds were trapped, and if that was not strange, some barbed wire was moving to take shape and form. It became a dark grey skin but wrapped entirely in barbed wire, a glowing one eye and two horns on top. It was like some barbed wire theme monster that appears dangerous to approach.

"No escape is all but impossible! Thanks to me, Barbed Wire Org!" The barbed wire Zen-Monster introduced himself for those not familiar with him.

"How many of these guys are there Boss?" Storm asked from noticing the strange weird monsters popping up. "I've lost count!?" The big guy was having a tough time keeping track on the different numbers of new Zen-Monsters.

"Counting won't matter, we just need one easy escape. And I got the perfect move!" Jet issue from deciding to help turn this situation around. "TORNADO!" He announced this without warning after picking up his board.

Without warning, Jet spun on his Extreme Gear to utilize air to drop a tornado between him and the Org group: trapping them. This technique caught those by surprise, and tried to break through, but it slightly cut them to withdrawn. The enemy was caught which allowed the Rogues to catch their second wind of opportunity…

"That did it Jet!" Wave cheered for Jet's surprisingly quick thinking on the spot.

"Now we can pummel these guys and make a break for it!" Storm exclaim to pound his fist together, ready for another brawl.

"What an unfortunate site?" A female voice was heard interrupting the moment.

Then something teleported into the area to slowly approach the scene as everyone turn to see who had come to this gathering. It appeared to be a female base humanoid monster. The theme was a green/white outfit with a single horn green and white and two fan-shaped protrusions each side of the head with pendants on the ends. Had two red, glowing eyes with a black orb sitting between, a wide grim halved with a stained glass-like pattern. Wore a green dress with two pointy shoulder plates and a long cape, wielding a short scepter. With a single gaze, she unleashed a green lightning beam from the black orb on the forehead. That completely disburse the Tornado move Jet did and freed the trap Orgs who saw who aided them.

"General Org Necronomica!?" Bell Org humbly bows before recognizing such a figure.

"General…" The rest of the Orgs bow down without delay.

"General?" Jet raise an eyebrow, he and his team were surprise by a monster with such a title. "So your suppose to be the leader for these guys?" The hawk demanded to know if this was the leader commanding these things.

"Yes, I am but one of four Org Generals. Here to take charge of this area for Lord Zenn." Necronomica proclaim they take ownership of the jungle territory.

"One of four? There's others different from these other Zen-Monsters?" Wave asked from feeling that this does not sound good news at all.

"Heh, well when we are done, then it'll be down to three! Right Boss!?" Storm boasted, not afraid to help bring down an enemy general that's present.

"For once Storm, your math is spot on." Jet made a sly grin from knowing if they take down the strongest, that will affect the enemies morale. "Rogues, let's team up and quickly end this before splitting the scene!" He gave the order of what will help their team the best.

That's when the Babylon Rogues rode their Extreme Gear to gain enough speed to perform their own physical attacks: by either fans, a large wrench or with raw muscle power. "CLASH!" But upon contact, the attacks were creating a large spark of some unseen force: by the small scepter. When the three birds stared at seeing their attacks were halted, and the enemy seem to hardly break a sweat when the Babylon Rogues went 100 percent backed by speed from their Extreme Gear.

"Hmph-hmph, hmph….pathetic." Necronomica taunts this little action as if nothing to her. "You believe you can match against a General when you're still struggling against a Minor Org minion? How sad…" Then without warning, she knocked the trio of birds away.

The Rogues stared in almost shock puzzlement, this Org General was not like the troops or monsters…she was stronger. And there are a total of four generals that serve under Lord Zenn, it appears the birds underestimated the enemy's strength greatly.

"I wonder, what sort of Zen-Monsters you will become? Well, maybe you'll be useful…" Necronomica exclaim about the possibilities of these birds. "Any resistance…and you will pay the price." She threaten for any defiance to give up peacefully.

"Jet, this Zen-Monster is not like those soldiers or the monster creatures. It's likely strong enough that it can flick off our attacks without breaking a sweat." Wave stated with concern that this enemy might be too strong even for the three Rogues to handle.

"Can't we just gang up and beat her?" Storm asked from using his brawn over the brain's logic.

"I thought of that too, but even our best attacks aren't slowing down ding-dong man over there. So facing those other weirdoes is just as bad." Jet issue from knowing when they're up a wall and need a way out. "We have to escape and lay low until we come up with a solution to beat these things." The hawk gave some good leadership advise on what they gotta do.

"I got just the thing." Wave grins from slyly making a move…

Then Wave tossed smoke bombs that exploded to provide cover, as the Babylon Rogues rode their Extreme Gears away from the enemy.

"There's a river ahead! Come on let's…" Jet points to what's just ahead of them…

"BAM!" But without warning, an energy attack so powerful was shot and blew up the ground where the Extreme Gears flew over. "AAaaahhhhh….!?" The Babylon Rogues screamed as they were tossed off their boards to fall down into a river. When the Orgs approach the area, it appeared that there was no sign of the birds.

"Do we proceed?" Bowling Org asked the general of what they do.

"I said resistance was futile." Necronomica issue from her firm tone and cold personality. "Search the jungle, if you find even a feather…" Her eyes drifted to spot floating feathers going down different river route paths. "Then begin the chase, and if they won't join us…then eliminate them." She gave the strict order of what to do if those birds refuse to comply.

Soon the scene zooms away from the hill cliff to the river, but near a bush seem to have an unconscious figure. The scene goes dark, as the mystery of what occurred remains active from the Orgs chasing their prey.

THE PRESENT

MYSTIC JUNGLE

The scene shows an old cabin for when people visiting the jungle can stop by to rest and feel safe. Inside were plenty of things that a typical business cabin has for visitors, even a dinning room. But since nobody was running things, it was left a mess. The only ones using the place appeared to be Sonic's group. Everyone was sitting by a round table while Doctor Eggman lay on a sofa: still recovering from both being turn into a Zen-Monster and becoming a powered up machine from a Chaos Emerald.

"So, Tails….mind telling me why we stopped at this old cabin in the jungle?" Sonic ponders why they stopped when they are in a hurry.

"Well, it's cause we need a place to think up our strategy and to plan what we know so far?" Tails stated about planning their next moves while knowing what the enemy is capable of.

"Tails is right, you guys been zipping and moving everywhere. And I always gotta remind you about the facts." Sticks pointed out about knowing what kinds of trouble they run into since they are running blind.

"Like knowing how strong the opponents are, so we don't simply underestimate them." Silver stated on recalling a few that were very strong, and almost tough to beat.

"So, what do we have?" Mach ponders what they can go by.

"Give me a second, and….there!" Tails stated from doing a little tinkering with his handheld scan device.

At this moment, Tails' device began to project a holographic screen. And then popping afterwards were apparently some kind of data analysis about the enemies and their current strength. This way, the group can determine what threat levels they had to brace themselves when facing forces that use dark magic to create horrible monsters.

Rooks: Zen-Monsters Soldiers (Powered-Up – Mega Zen-Monster)

Pawns: Zen-Monster Trooper (Foot-Soldier Army)

"Woah buddy, what's with this list setup?" Sonic ponders what Tails was displaying for them to see.

"I figured we needed a way to keep track of what we faced. So I base what Sticks said about the enemy ranks and put them together like a Chess Board." Tails explain what he was doing that would aid in understanding what enemies were the toughest to beat.

"Hey! Who said you can change things like that?" Sticks protest after realizing what the two-tailed fox was up too. "Then again, are we all not just chess pieces on a board? Then who's the player, and are we moving in the right spaces or setting up for a fall!?" The badger girl was going off to randomly overthink such things about what's real or something else…

"Easy there Sticks, however we label the enemies out, at least we know where they stand." Silver stated to calm Sticks down to view this as a means to help them.

"So we encounter Troopers, Soldiers, and Elites." Mach stated on remembering the type of enemies thus far. "But while the Witch is said to nearly rival Lord Zenn, why do you have the Mega Zen-Monsters separated? And what about this Chaos class?" The guy was curious about something else that was separated from the chart list.

"Well we know that Mega Zen-Monsters are the strongest because they grow into giants, and gives them more power." Tails stated on knowing what the biggest problem is when the enemies grow big. "Back when I was turn into the Nine-Tail Demon Fox, I was probably a giant elite. While after we won against Eggman when he gotten a Chaos Emerald powered up into an entirely different Mega Zen-Monster." The young fox explain how him and Eggman were under different circumstances of who were strong and dangerous giant-size powerful monsters.

"Yeah, so we'll have to make sure if Lord Zenn is picking up Chaos Emeralds, we don't fight anyone that strong or else we be as scrambled as Eggy himself." Sonic tried to lighten up the mood with a little joke pun guided to a certain individual.

"I'm right here hedgehog!" That's when everyone saw on the sofa, Eggman was weakly getting up slowly. "You also should thank your fox for making this easier." Eggman issue from giving some compliment to Tails' effort as he limps a bit.

"Easier, how so?" Mach raise an eyebrow on what this doctor bend on world domination was talking about.

"Just think about it, the only ones that are closer to and even using the same dark magic as Lord Zenn is that so-called Zen-En Witch." Eggman held an index finger to explain the scientific evidence of what they know who are as dangerous as the mastermind. "If even a Chaos Zen-Monster is below the witch, what do you think will happen if they or their leader gets a hold of all the emeralds." The doctor brought up a big and important while scary topic to consider.

"It wouldn't be good, and what's still scary is that Lord Zenn is still sealed?" Silver stated with another troubling thought they yet to process over. "If he's only able to act because the seal allows half his strength through, then his full strength is something to be concern with." The silver hedgehog confirms to believe such a thing is possible.

"What I'm more curious about is that relic we acquired from that temple." Tails stated which Mach still kept a hold of what they found. "Maybe the Gaia Civilization prepared a day when they knew Lord Zenn would return, and left keys for us to find." The young fox explain a basic thought on what was left to get those ready for such a threat that would return.

"Well first we gotta find more Chosen Heroes, if seven is our lucky number…then we gotta make it happen." Sonic pumped up his fist, knowing they gotta gather whoever's been selected to fight the good fight.

"And how do you expect it to happen hedgehog? It's not like the answer is gonna walk right through that door!" Eggman ridicule Sonic that not everything will go exactly as plan.

Course at that precise time, the doors were opened while loud scary thunder and flash of lightning was heard. What came were two creatures nobody has ever seen before that were not enemies. The first was a short anthropomorphic female cat that has close-lying gray fur, a white muzzle, and turquoise color eyes. She has triangular ears with white-colored canals and a long tail with the end slightly fray and white. She wears white shoes with silver color top theme, and white gloves with silver theme rings around the wrist, and fingers. She wears a short skirt dress which was turquoise with white lines around the bottom edges.

The second was a very large and burly anthropomorphic dog. The majority of his body fur is tan light brown with dark brown spots. He has brown color eyes, a black nose, and dark brown droppy ears. He has white fur covers his chest, torso, muzzle, end of short tail and inner ears. The attire he wears consist of white gloves, sandals, and a red belt with a square buckle.

"Well Runt, we finally found a place out of that storm." The female cat signs with relief she and the big tubby dog on where they found shelter.

"Oh yeah Rita, definitely-definitely did." The big round dog nods his head to eagerly agree to that. "Where should I put the stuff I found?" The dog asked with a curious expression as he held something in his other hand.

"Just lay it down over there." Rita stated on where to leave what was found nearby the door.

"Okay!" Runt nods to leave what looked like a small bag pouch on a table.

"Who are you two?" Mach raise an eyebrow, puzzled by the appearance of these two folks.

"Rita The Cat and Runt The Dog, traveling Vagabonds if you will in this dark age we're living through." Rita explain with a moody sarcastic tone as if trying to sound funny.

"Yeah, also Rita's a good singer. Definitely, most definitely." Runt happily nods his head to answer such a question which no one asked.

"We just got through without getting ourselves turn into one of those evil creatures that's been going on." Rita stated on how they are getting by while trying to lay low.

"Yeah, they were all ghostly…and spooky. They even turn my favorite toy robot into….something horrible!?" Runt felt disturbed by such a remind of something so terrifying.

"Wait, ghostly? What are you talking about?" Tails pondered what could have happen to those that live around Mystic Jungle.

"Why talk, when I can sing it to you boys." Rita smirked as she leaped onto an abandon stage. "Hit it Runt!"

"Hitting it!" Runt exclaim as he sat near an old piano.

At this time, there was a musical classic melody being played. The group were puzzled by this unexpected action. Wasn't long before Rita started to sing in a soft, classic yet a remix of oldies theme.

Rita: There is a legend

A tale so spooky

It can give you shivers!?

But heed my words and you may yet survive!

As Rita sang, she was under a spotlight while moving about in a classical number.

Runt: Oh yeah, you tell it Rita!

Rita: There are demonic spirits

All around the Mystic Jungles

What could they be you ask?

They call themselves: Orgs!

Runts: Orgs! Ohhh, sound's terrifying!

Rita: When Lord Zenn's spell affected the world

These evil spirits were revived once more!

And when they make contact, that's the form they take

From any object, be it big or small…

As Rita continue to sing, the stage light moved to the way, as shadow puppets showed spooky mask making contact to any object.

Runts: Ohhhh, here it goes!

Rita: So beware, and keep your wits about

For they may be coming for you

So be ready to RUN!

For the attack of the ORGS!

And at that time, the song reach a conclusion as Runt finished the final melody. Pretty much there was silence while everyone absorb the song they heard and process it's meaning.

Hugh, you know if that song wasn't making one feel blue, I say that was pretty good." Sonic smiled while giving a bit of praise on the song number he heard.

"But Sonic, you are blue?" Silver raise an eyebrow after hearing a strange claim.

"Yeah, but not the blue that makes you feel sad. I'm more about being a blue hedgehog of joy!" Sonic issue on how he likes to view things especially involving his own color theme.

"Isn't that the blue bird of happiness?" Tails raise an eyebrow from thinking Sonic got things mixed up.

"Enough of these foolish statements. What was the point of that song?" Eggman protest from thinking that was just a bunch of wasting one's time.

"Simply put it, it's a warning for anyone who's got the smarts to stay clear." Rita pointed out in making this matter crystal clear.

"Oh yeah, those Orgs are going around the forest, looking high and low." Runt stated on what's been happening while they been traveling around.

"What are they looking for?" Mach raise an eyebrow when having heard this piece of intel.

Just before an answer could be heard, a loud wheeling sound was heard. At first some believed a car was driving nearby, but they were mistaken. As something crashed through to leave a large hole in the wall, and it was a large monster-truck tire object. But then it stopped and suddenly transform…into a familiar Org monster.

"Well now, looks like we got fresh meat!" Tire Org proclaim from what was before them.

"Is that…some sort of tire monster?" Silver raise an eyebrow, surprise by such a weird monster.

"Ohhh, I always enjoyed chewing tires." Runt exclaim with a dopy happy expression: dogs like chewing on rubber even on tires.

"CHEW ON THIS!" Tire Org proclaimed as he approached Rita and Runt, and transformed into his tire form….with those trapped inside!

"Nice going there Runt!? Now we're really in the dog house? More or less?" Rita remarked for a moment, but yelped as she and Runt felt the giant tire roll off….

"Hey! Let them go!" Silver used his telekinesis to stop the tire monster.

"I got this! I'll pop that wheel like…" Sticks was preparing her boomerang to hit the target… "GAaaaaayyhhhh….." Then the badger girl yelped when something struck to knock her across the area: it was a bowling ball?

"STRIKE!" Bowling Org was heard as he entered the scene while summoning another bowling ball.

"A bowling monster? Are these guys just coming in random or what?" Sonic raise an eyebrow, skeptical by the weird theme of monsters they're meeting.

"We have bigger problems now hedgehog!" Eggman pointed off from seeing another issue rising.

Then without warning, Putrids started to appear from the large hole. And slowly Bell Org entered the scene letting off an evil laughter while observing the area.

"Well it looks like we found something." Bell Org proclaim on what they came across. "It's not those thieves, but close enough." They were searching for a different target, but Sonic's group is just as nice.

"I got him! HOWLING CANNON!" Mach took a big breath, then released a sonic blast attack.

"GONG!" But the attack instead just bounced off the enemy's body being a reflective bell. "Hahahahah! BELL BANGER WAVE!" Then after an evil laughter, he began hitting his forehead with his hammer, firing blue soundwave-like beams from the single eye.

The group completely splits off to evade the surprise attack. Apparently while having dealt with machine type Zen-Monsters, these Orgs seem different by comparison. During the moment, Tails tried to help Sticks, but something lied in wait that struck first….

"AAaahhh!?" Tails yelped when something sharp cut and undid his helicopter: only to discover his twin tails tied by barb wire. "Where this barbed wire come from?" Tails exclaim as he tried to free his tails but yelp from the sharp barbs.

"From me!" Then the barbed wire that attack began to move on it's own, before reassembling into the monster form.

"Hang on tight guys!" Sonic zipped over to quickly rescue Tails and Sticks before the enemy could strike just before rejoining Silver, Eggman and Mach who fought off the Putrids.

"Now to keep you trapped for GOOD!" Barbed Wire Org exclaim from seeing the perfect time to strike.

"That's my cue! BELL TRAPPER!" Bell Org proclaim while announcing another move.

Without warning, Bell Org summoned a large bell that trapped the gang inside. Then the monster rang the bell with the hammer, causing massive pain in their ears. ?

"Hahahahaha…." The Orgs laughed at having trapped their prey while having a little time for some cruel fun.

"You two are done being useful!" Tire Org exclaim when he transform into his monster form and dumps out Runt and Rita.

"Oh, so…we can go?" Runt exclaim with a happy expression, not realizing the situation.

"Yeah, go on to become MONSTERS!" Tire Org remarked to taunt what awaits the poor fools.

"Oh boy, this looks like curtains for us!?" Rita signs to shake her head, knowing this might be the end for them.

"Where? I don't see them?" Runt asked from looking for the said curtain.

"And I'm going out with someone like this during the end of the world? Ehh, beggars can't be choosers?" Rita looked to Runt to talk to herself before shrugging off her shoulders.

"HEY! You Ding Bats! Looking for somebody or what!?" A young male voice was heard shouting nearby.

Then all eyes suddenly darted towards where the voice was coming from. In the back of the room was someone in a cloak that walks to the center of trouble slowly. The figure yanked the dirty cloak off, to reveal his identity to all: Jet The Hawk!

"It's that green hawk!" Tire Org exclaim from seeing Jet present.

"At last, we found him!" Bell Org stated as he pounds his hammer on the ground.

"You're a hard pin to knock down, you know that." Bowling Org states from rubbing his bowling ball to get ready to strike.

"Hahah….nowhere to go this time, birdy!" Barbed Wire Org proclaim as he spread barb wire on the only exits: no one is leaving so easily without injury.

"Oh I'm not gonna run…not after I acquire something that was lost." Jet proclaimed while showing his right wrist: he wore what seem like a ring-shaped metallic object with stones.

"Oh hey that's that nifty looking thing we found Rita!?" Runt stated in recalling the item Jet has was what they found recently.

"Word to the wise friend, I don't think fashion can save us?" Rita dryly states on knowing when something is smart or foolish.

"That's cause you don't know it's true worth." Jet grins slyly from knowing precisely, what the object he wields can do.

"You think you can stop us when you lost with your team?" Bowling Org taunts as the Orgs prepare for a fight.

"You're a bigger fool then we took you for." Barbed Wire Org ridicule the poor hawk on his poor choice.

"Then watch the birdy carefully…" Jet slyly teased these guys on how serious he can be.

That's when Jet raist his right wrist, causing the object to shine a bright green emerald color from the stones. Small waves of light occurred followed by release of ripples, they expand around field where the Orgs are gathered. What happened next was that gravity was warped that everyone began to hover off the ground, including the large bell that trap the others, and Rita and Runt floated along.

"Hey, what's going on?" Bell Org exclaim puzzled by this weird action.

"I'm not sure?" Tire Org felt as if they were unable to have a proper footing.

"GRAVITY DRIVE!" Jet shouts from announcing the name of this move.

Suddenly without warning, Jet hovers in the air before using the gravity he manipulated. A brief explosion of light erupts from the hawk, he instantly plowed across the Putrids and the Org Zen-Monsters. The hawk delivered strong slashes with his fans, but in the center….a powerful gravitational disturbance formed a black hole sucking in the enemies.

"GRAAAAaurgh!?" The Orgs screamed as they got pulled in before the black hole closed in on them… "BOOM-BOOM, BOOM!?" In the aftermath, explosions erupted from the black hole, signaling the end of the Org threat…

With the Org Zen-Monsters destroyed, the large bell that trapped Sonic's team vanished completely. Everyone was recovering a bit from the ringing torture that they were enduring till now. And when looking around, the enemy was gone and the one who saved them…started to hover before them while gravity was returning to normal.

"It's been a while, Sonic the Hedgehog." Jet grins as he made himself known to those he has meant before.

"Jet!?" Sonic exclaim from seeing the green hawk again.

"How'd he managed to wipe out all those Troopers!?" Mach raise an eyebrow from witnessing someone took out that many troops in one go.

"Not just them, but even those Zen-Monsters!?" Sticks was also impressed, very few could do that without having a Gaia Gem's light to protect and fight the dark magic.

"I had a score to settle with those creeps from last time!" Jet protest in stating his own argument over the manner. "They appeared the moment we hit a major jackpot at a temple, and scatter us apart!" He issue about what happen to him and his crew.

"Scatter you, so that means…Your by yourself?" Tails ponders to piece together the message Jet was stating.

"Yeah, I nearly was finished, but I don't lose to anyone!" Jet boast while not letting his confidence weaver now. "I'm the fastest thing in the universe! And today, I'm going to prove it!" He turn to gaze at Sonic, wanting to challenge him to prove who's the fastest around.

"Heh, I'll gladly accept the challenge." Sonic grins to take on a challenge when it comes to racing.

"Would you both cease this!" Then without warning, Eggman cuts in to stop those about to start something. "As much as I want to enjoy seeing you fools knock each other off, we have more pressing matters!" The doctor made it apparently, there was no time for all rivalry chit-chat.

"Well this is a surprise, since when did you and egg-face team up?" Jet remarked to make a smug comment on two old foes teaming up.

"It's a long story." Sonic shrug off to lightly mention how things played out to this way.

"Say, what's that you got wrapped around your wrist?" Stick approached Jet to study the object he had.

"It almost resembles the Ark of the Cosmos? But I thought they were destroyed?" Tails also approach to study the item, recalling what became of those of such similar design.

"You kidding, my team and I got this, but lost it during our struggle." Jet stated as he pulled his wrist back from those studying the item while ignoring his presence. "Over a week, I been recovering and searching for this thing while avoiding those Orgs!" The hawk explain what he's been doing after his last run in with those monsters. "And then these two stumble across it, I couldn't believe myself that I wasted 5 days searching when they found it by dumb luck." Jet pointed to Rita and Runt as if they were a guilty party.

"Hugh, so that little thing was from you?" Runt replied a bit puzzled but not bothered with a simple positive expression.

"Well it's no surprise Runt happen to find it, didn't much care for it." Rita shrug off her arms to admit it was her pal who found and held onto the item. "Wouldn't match my style, so we though to trade it in for a meal." She admits they thought about using what was found for an exchange purpose.

"Hmmm…?" Sticks rubbed her chin when studying this scene. "Hey hawky, catch!" She spoke while tossing something in the air to be caught.

"What the…?" Jet yelped before catching something that almost hit him. "What's with this crazy badger girl, throwing me something and…" But the hawk never finished, as a bright flash occurred within the hand that caught something. "HUGH!?" When Jet open his hand, he discovered a strange gem that slowly transform into an emerald crystal.

"The Gaia Gem…it turn into a crystal!?" Tails gasped upon what they witness just now.

"But if it's become a Gaia Crystal, then that means Jet here is…" Silver was putting the pieces together before…

"One of Gaia's Chosen Seven!?" Mach finished that sentence that this proves…they found another chosen one.

"So the relic he used can only be properly perform by Gaia's Warriors, or more likely…it's Seven Champions." Tails scratch his head from trying to theorize what is going on. "Is it possible the early Babylonians and the Gaia Civilization were once neighbors?" The two-tailed fox had so many questions on how to tie the two species together.

"Your guess is as good as mine, I'm as surprise too!" Stick shrug off the shoulders, unable to answer this herself.

"Ugh, can somebody please explain to me what's going on?" Jet raise an eyebrow, uncertain about this whole developing situation.

"Well Jet, let's just say that if you want to dish a little payback to those Zen-Monsters…" Sonic gave the ever confident smile to approach the hawk. "We're gonna need to do it, together." The blue hedgehog stated on needing another hero to join their party.

That left Jet feeling a bit awkward, knowing the beef history he has with Sonic. Especially considering they both want the title: 'Fastest Thing On The Planet' which can go ether for Sonic by foot or Jet by Extreme Gear. And right now, the hawk has the key to fight a difficult enemy and find his teammates. But then something was thrown a distance into the room to stab the wall nearby, bringing everyone's attention to a strange knife with a tied note attachment rolled up.

"Woah now! Where that come from?" Rita yelps from the sudden deadly knife throwing event.

"Dugh, outside. Yep, definitely-definitely outside." Runt replied to happily state this obvious fact that everyone knew.

"There's a message on the back?" Tails stated as he pulled the attach note off the knife's string. "If you wish to save the lives that have not become monsters, you will come to the Paw Village further northwest. Fail to appear in the hour, then many souls will be on your hands. Sign: The Org Generals." Tails read the message out loud for those to understand what's going on.

"Ohhh, a hostage situation, those are never good." Sticks felt concern, it's a typical villain move to be expected.

"Paw Village, anyone know the place?" Silver ponders the mention location to meet at.

"You kidding me, I been on the run and hiding and searching for this thing, I had no time to look for a village." Jet stated on his own busy schedule this whole time.

"Then why would a mysterious messenger send us this message unless we knew how to get there?" Sonic held his chin to ponder if the enemy knows something to make this preparation.

"Oh hey, we know Paw Village. Yeah, it's where the Resistance was setup and….oh!?" Runt was blabbing before his mouth was close by a worried Rita.

"Wait, there's a Resistance Base there?" Tails asked surprise by this piece of news.

"It's possible during Egg Emperor takeover, many bases were setup. Big ones and small ones. The smaller ones were kept hidden for emergency moments during retreats." Mach explain about the matter of having bases that were kept hidden during the time Eggman had almost conquered the whole world.

"Then this could turn our luck around. Maybe we can give them some Gaia Gems to help them keep the Zen-Monsters off our backs, from turning wicked scary, and all while we're taking down the big shots." Sticks explain the long but short version on how this could work to their favor.

"Hate to break the news to ya, but your wasting your breath in expecting any Resistance help in the area." Rita shook her head to remotely cut the good mood down a notch.

"And how do you know that unless….your not who you say you are?" Eggman raise an eyebrow from being watchful of new faces outside the crowd he's with. "As a man who's got a 300 IQ, your story about being simple traveling Vagabonds is farfetched at best."

"Hey, that's not true. We WERE and then we had a place to call home." Runt protest in trying to make a statement.

"You…were?" Sonic raise an eyebrow, finding something puzzling here.

"Yeah…But now…that home is gone…" Rita looked down in sorrow and pity while looking at a puddle of water. "Every last one of the Resistance members we knew and felt like we're apart of a family, fell to the Orgs." The cat girl looked away from the puddle to look outside as the weather was still looking pretty grim. "Me and Runt here…are the only survivors." Rita revealed this tragic truth before all here.

Everyone fell quiet while Runt seem to feel a bit sad as he gently pats Rita's shoulder. A tale that was kept secret is out, and right now the heroes only chance may lie in the only survivors present. The scene begins to grow dark, as whatever happens next…is another tale to be told…

NOTES: Zen-Monsters that appeared:

Putrids, Bell Org, Tire Org, Bowling Org, Barbed Wire Org, and General Necronomica are all monsters from Power Rangers series.

A new system to help keep track of Zen-Monsters base on how difficult and powerful they are. And who ranks higher. I got the inspired idea from a villain organization called Chess from Mar Heaven series.

*Rita The Cat – (Made By VISION-KING)

Ability Type: Speed.

Appearance: A short anthropomorphic female cat that has close-lying gray fur, a white muzzle, and turquoise color eyes. She has triangular ears with white-colored canals and a long tail with the end slightly fray and white. She wears white shoes with silver color top theme, and white gloves with silver theme rings around the wrist, and fingers. She wears a short skirt dress which was turquoise with white lines around the bottom edges. (Note: Picture a Mix of Female Cat Avatar and Amy Rose's Dress.)

Info/Personality: Rita's a feisty, independent, and lovely cat who is often likes to sing. With her skills of being independent, funny, aloof, intelligent, and sarcastic while sometimes being tough. But much of it's a front to mask a soft side of her longing for affection.

*Character Inspiration: Inspired from an existing character from the Animaniacs series.

Egg Empire Info: During the event the Egg Empire nearly dominated the world, many folks were afraid, and some were captured while thrown in prison camps. Among one of the prison camps, Rita and Runt meant by chance. While Rita was smart enough to use her wit to pick a low developed cell to hold ordinary civilians, she couldn't leave Runt who's simple and positive personality help when it seem it was the end. After Runt was freed, Egg Robots inspected the disturbance by Rita while apprehending her. But Runt used his big, tough, strong body to save Rita while escaping the prison camp. After being free, Rita and Runt became a couple of Vagabonds looking for a new home during wartime. But overtime witnessing such sad sights while seeing the Resistance put up a fight, Rita and Runt found themselves wanting to help other poor souls caught in the middle. The Resistance saw their potential, and invited the former Vagabonds to have a home with them to make a change. And soon providing aid be it through encouraging troops by singing or with good positivity, to Rita and Runt's teamwork in the face of trouble. Things finally turn for the better when the war ended, and everyone had a home to go back to.

Current Info: The time for peace only lasted so shortly after the Egg Empire was defeated. When Lord Zenn began to appear, his Zen-Monsters became a problem that made Eggman look like small potatoes. Rita and Runt were at a Resistance Base in Mystic Jungle protecting Paw Village. But the dark magic created more monsters from all things around, and turn citizens into the enemy. The Resistance Base was overrun, the remaining soldiers tried to hold back but they were losing. When it was down to Rita and Runt, the big dog acted by instinct to get his dearest cat friend to safety. Rita and Runt watch from afar their home taken and nothing of it remain but a ruin. The two now Vagabonds once more, try to survive in a world where evil magic could very well turn them into monsters. But perhaps their story is not over yet, after meeting up with Sonic's Team, perhaps there can be hope yet again…

Rita's Skills: She's quick enough for a speed type, a good climber, and use of her sharp claws. After joining the Resistance, she received the Asteroid Wispon, locking on to multiple enemies at the same time using clones. Granting her invincibility to confuse targets of not knowing which is the real one and miss to only hit a clone copy.

*Moves/Techniques:

-Kitty Dash Boost: Rita envelops herself in a white-silver aura and blast forward at high speed, plowing through and across obstacles.

-Kitten's Claw: Rita locks onto her opponents and attacks them with a quick strike with her claws.

-Sneaky Feline: When Rita concentrates her white-silver aura, envelops herself to become completely invisible. Allows one to avoid enemy attention, but it's only for a short period of time.

-Vagabond Recital: A special team combo move. Rita pulls out a mike as she and Runt perform a musical song number. But it's just a mixture of normal cat and dog noises similar to what folks in big cities hear. They release loud sounds in all directions at their foes, causing ear-splitting pain so strong, it can destroy certain areas, destroy things, and seriously injury strong opponents. Noted: Rita likes performing to an audience, but to her enemies, it'll be the last thing they hear. Sometimes when allies are near, Rita has to warn them to cover their ears because she's embarrassed to have friends hear her sing such high pitch racket instead of her beautiful singing voice.

*Runt The Dog – (Made By VISION-KING)

Ability Type: Power.

Appearance: A very large and burly anthropomorphic dog. The majority of his body fur is tan light brown with dark brown spots. He has brown color eyes, a black nose, and dark brown droppy ears. He has white fur covers his chest, torso, muzzle, end of short tail and inner ears. The attire he wears consist of white gloves, sandals, and a red belt with a square buckle. (Note: Picture a remade image version of Big The Cat, but as a Dog.)

Info/Personality: Runt's a slow-witted and optimistic, keeping a happy-go-lucky streak. He's extremely friendly to folks, some could view him as comic relief. But he's good trait is protecting those he cares for from anything, even if he has to lose a place special one called home.

*Character Inspiration: Inspired from an existing character from the Animaniacs series.

Runt's Skills: Being big, tough and strong for a power type, good at breaking through obstacles, having a good sturdy defense, and throwing his weight around. After joining the Resistance, he received the Drill Wispon, penetrate through enemies, as well as excavate through the ground and climb up walls. Granting the dog the best trait of digging through the battlefield and even burrow into walls to climb up, being ready for a surprise attack.

*Moves/Techniques:

-Battering Paw Ram: Runt rapidly punches an enemy with his fist, dealing damage to targets in front of him.

-K-9 Body Press: Runt jumps into the air while spreading his arms and legs, points the belly straight down. Then delivers his whole body weight slamming down to the ground creating a fiery shockwave force. This move can take out gathered targets and deal damage to bigger opponents.

-Doggy Breath: Runt releases a powerful and putrid breath in all directions. This damages opponents with varying effects depending on what Runt ate that increases the smell odor.

-Vagabond Knockout: A special team combo move. Runt performs this technique by throwing Rita as a projectile when she's in her ball form and her aura covers her. Runt channels a fiery aura around Rita, then tosses with all his might at a target, delivering a powerful force that demolitions targets. Noted: While this is a powerful move, Rita does not like being thrown towards the danger.

Well it's been sometime, but boy does this story begin to grow on you. And now with some new faces to the matter. Next chapter, the gang have Rita and Runt deal with their past when leading them to Paw Village. Only to encounter another difficulty of more Org Zen-Monsters on sight. But if that wasn't difficult enough, there are even powerful Org Generals added to the math. How can the Chosen Heroes win such odds? Maybe, with some assistance to help turn the tides using the item Jet has. But even so, what happens when the enemy turns one of Jet's biggest and loyalist follower…into a Mega Class Zen-Monster: Macho The Demon Bird! One thing's certain, there's gonna be a bigger storm brewing then anyone imagine, and it's only the start… Better stay tune to find out more…
