A.N. — The run of characters repping the silver and green continues with the Slytherin house ghost. He also starts off another pair. Told you there was a glut of Slytherins hiding out around here!

296. The Bloody Baron

The Bloody Baron found lording over those of Salazar's dominion taxing. But no matter how tumultuous life in Slytherin's house became, it was never enough to banish from his memory the reason he still spectrally guarded his mentor's charges.

He was Slytherin's house ghost, but the Baron was loathe to claim ownership over it. He'd held Salazar's trust, before shattering it and the founders' unity. His past shame weighed too heavy upon his conscience to ever fully embrace the role thrust upon him. But worthy or not, he'd shepherd those dungeon-bound students so that was all they'd be bound by.
