AN: This story ended up doing a lot better than I thought it would. So I decided to do another chapter. Enjoy.

As day transitioned into night, the Louds found themselves sitting around their dining room table, just as they did every night. Save for the two, dimensionally challenged Louds, who were incapable of physically joining the rest of their family. The situation being what it was, Lincoln and Luna had opted to dine on their molecularly altered meal outside, and now found themselves sitting in the back yard, lounging against their family home as they watched the stars come out.

"You know, we could go around front," Said Lincoln, breaking the companionable silence they'd settled into. "Get the family to open the window for us, or something. Hang out with them that way."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Luna drawled, shooting her brother a sidelong glance. "And here I was thinking we were having a good time out here."

"No! No!" The younger of the pair protested, frantically waving his arms around. "That's not what I meant! I just—"

But his words fell silent as Luna was suddenly in front of him. She gently placed one finger upon his lips, and favored him with a small smile.

"Chill, dude," She chuckled, as she returned to her place at his side. "I was just messing with you."

"Oh!" Lincoln tittered nervously, while absent-mindedly scratching the back of his head. "Y-yeah. I guess I probably should have realized that."

"It's fine, bruv. There's just a couple of reasons why I'd rather hang out here, if its all the same to you."

She counted off on her fingers. "First, the window thing works for you. But if you haven't noticed, I'm a decent bit bigger than you are. You could make it work by sitting down and hunching over a bit, but if I did that, I'd still be having a chat with the second floor. Doesn't sound all that fun to me, you know?"

"That makes sense," Lincoln frowned thoughtfully. "Sorry. It's weird how...relative, everything is. I forget you've got it even worse than me in that department."

"S'alright," Luna replied, waiving aside her concerns, before flashing him another smile. "Least I've got good company, right?"

"Y-yeah," Lincoln nodded, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. "What's the other reason?"

To his surprise, Luna's arm snaked around his waist, and yanked him closer, quick as a whip. one minute he'd been sitting there, staring up at the sky, enjoying the relative closeness of his sister, and the next his face was only inches from her own, her warmth blending into his own as the sensation of her body pressing against his suddenly became the full focus of every single one of his senses.

"Because," She said softly, cupping his cheek with one hand and gently tracing her fingers down his jawline. "I like having you all to myself."

"Y-you do?"

"Yup," Luna leaned closer, causing that distinctly, uniquely brand of feminine softness to press most enjoyable against his chest. "And also, because now that we've had dinner, I think...I might be ready for...dessert."

"L-Luna!" He yelped, trying to put some distance between himself and the brunette. Trying, being the operative word. It was difficult to say what exactly transpired in that moment, but though Lincoln's intention was to scooch away from the older girl, his limbs instead splayed out in kinds of directions, as if even his body wasn't quite in agreement with how to proceed. The end result—

THUMP

was that Lincoln found himself flat on his back. Staring up at the star-speckled sky, and the beautiful moon that hung overhead. And also that pale orb that came out when the sun went down. For some reason, Lincoln was having trouble recalling what it was called at this particular moment.

"...Everything alright, little bro?" Luna asked, looking down at him. She favored him with a kind smile, but that in no way diminished the predatory gleam in her eyes.

"Yes," Lincoln wheezed, the air having apparently been knocked from his lungs due to the impact. Probably something to do with that square cube law Lisa kept bringing up. Apparently taking the affirmative as permission to go ahead, Luna started forward once more, but to her surprise, Lincoln flung himself upward, and scurried away, propelling himself backward, only stopping once he felt the rear of the house against his back. And even then, he only just barely managed to stop himself in time.

Luna's expression turned befuddled, which was only compounded when Lincoln threw up one arm and began waving it back and forth.

"H-hold on!" He exclaimed, gulping in lungfuls of air. "Just...just hold on a minute!"

"Seriously dude, are you okay?" His sister looked equal parts confused and worried at his behavior.

"I just..." He paused, trying to choose his words carefully. "I just think we should talk. About...this."

A moment passed, and then Luna started towards him. Instinctively Lincoln tensed up, ready to retreat again if necessary, but no longer were Luna's movements those of the lioness stalking her prey. Rather, she simply crawled over to him at a normal pace, and then sat herself down next to him.

"What's the matter, bro?" She asked, kindly, putting one arm around his shoulder. "Did I come on too strong or something? You've never complained about that before."

"It's not that." He replied, slowly shaking his head. "Honestly, I kinda like that."

"Yeah," She smiled wryly and pointed downward. "I noticed."

Lincoln followed with his eyes and flushed bright red once he saw what she was pointing to.

"Really wish Leni would make me some pants", he muttered, self-consciously yanking his tunic down as far as it would go. It didn't help matters much.

"I don't," Quipped the rocker, giving him a wink, which only served to deepen his embarrassment. And, to his annoyance, undo what little he'd managed to accomplish, as the hem of his tunic rose just a smidge higher.

"Couldn't help meself", Said Luna, giving him an apologetic squeeze. "Alright, so...what's the problem then? Are you feeling...weird...about this?"

"...Kinda?"

"Because Lisa said we shouldn't. Feel weird, I mean. Remember?" The older girl's face screwed up in concentration. "She said it was...a homo...hamana?"

"Hormonal imbalance due to drastic biological changes" Lisa muttered as she adjusted her earpiece, barely able to hear herself over the din generated by her family eating dinner, let alone the conversation being picked up by her security network. Then her attention was diverted by much more serious concerns.

"Lana! For the love of Einstein, pass the butter around BEFORE you decide to wear it as a hat!"

"Ugh, I can't remember", Luna muttered, waiving her free hand dismissively. "But basically, we get horny because we're big. So she said we should just go along and do what feels natural. Right?"

"But that's not why I...I mean, that's not the only...reason...I..." Lincoln's voice got progressively lower as he spoke, his final words coming out as little more than a whisper before he trailed off entirely. At which point, he clamped his mouth shut, seemingly for fear of what might happen were he to continue.

But Luna wasn't having any of it.

"Come on, Linc, talk to me," She pleaded with him. Luna took Lincoln's hand in her own, and threaded her fingers with his, giving him an encouraging squeeze. "I don't like seeing you like this. But I can't help if you don't tell me what's wrong."

Lincoln's initial inclination was to double down on his silence. That he'd already said too much as it was. That it wasn't worth dumping his troubles on Luna any more than he already had. But he looked into his sister's eyes, saw the naked concern there...for him. And before he knew it, the words began to flow.

"I wanted to do those...things...with you...even before this happened." He said quietly, averting his gaze and squeezing his eyes shut as he did so. He wasn't sure what kind of reaction he was expecting, exactly, but he knew he wanted to avoid witnessing the moment where his big sister's opinion of him was forever changed.

Lincoln felt Luna's hand upon his cheek, and involuntarily he tensed up. To his surprise, however, all she did was gently apply pressure, just enough to turn his head back the way it had come. Lincoln opened his eyes, and once again found himself looking at Luna. Her lips were quirked upward in what seemed to be amusement, but her eyes were kind. Warm.

"So, when you and I were rolling around in the yard the other day?" She asked, softly. "That was something you...already wanted to do with me."

"Y-yeah," He replied, nodding uncertainly.

"And that time you pushed me up against the side of the house?"

"Uh huh," Again he nodded, not sure where this was going.

"And that time I pushed you up against the side of the house?"

"Absolutely," Lincoln didn't realize how emphatically he was nodding to that response until he'd already committed to the motion. And by that time, it was far too late to hide his enthusiasm."

"You've...always been pretty strong," He explained, shrugging helplessly. "I thought it'd be nice. And...yeah. Wow."

Luna's response was an amused snort, but somehow she even made that sound melodic. She removed herself from Lincoln, prompting a moment of panic from the younger Loud. To his relief, however, all she did was crawl a short distance away so she could rest her back against their family home. She gestured for Lincoln to join her, and he acquiesced, settling himself down next to her. Luna reached out and tugged on Lincoln with both hands. Confused, his initial inclination was to resist, but once Luna's tugging grew more urgent, he surrendered himself to his sister, allowing her to do as she wished. Not long after, Lincoln found himself laying against his sister, each holding the other in a mutual embrace. His head laid atop her chest, and the rhythmic beating of her heart lulled him into a state of rest. It was comfortable. But then again, it always was with Luna.

"So," She began, finally having arranged the two of them to her satisfaction. "It kinda sounds like you've got everything you've wanted. So...what's the problem then?"

"I'm worried about what happens when Lisa fixes us," He admitted. "When we're both back to normal, and you don't have to hang out with me like this. When we don't have...hormones, pushing us together. What happens after that? What could happen after that? After all of this?"

Luna pursed her lips thoughtfully. "Well, what do you want to happen, Linc?"

"I...I dunno," He confessed. "But I like this. I like...us."

Luna Loud grew uncharacteristically quiet. Lincoln's mind raced with the myriad possibilities as to what that silence could mean, most of them bad, some of them apocalyptically bad. But before his anxiety-ridden brain could formulate any kind of response, Luna broke the silence.

"I like...us...too."

It felt like the world had gone quiet, as Lincoln turned those words over in his brain, examining them from all possible angles. Finally, he lifted his head, his gaze meeting Luna's. And in that moment, he knew. Luna Loud had never been one for mincing words, she always said exactly what she meant. And in his heart, he knew without a shadow of a doubt, that this occasion was no different.

"...Seriously?" He asked, somehow sounding less dumbfounded than he felt, but still wincing at his own words regardless. Fortunately, Luna took it in good humor.

"Yes!" She said, laughing as she tightened her hug on him. "I really do. And...if you want to try and make this work, then...yeah. I'm there."

She was beautiful. Even though she was dressed in literal rags, a patchwork affair made from patchwork, it didn't change the fact that at that moment, Luna Loud was the most beautiful girl alive. He should have kissed her, cemented that perfect moment with action.

"MRRRPF!"

Thankfully, Luna was there to pick up the slack. She pulled him in for a kiss, and mercifully whatever, potentially moment-ruining thing he was going to say was swallowed up as her lips engulfed his. The spark was lit, and it wasn't long before Lincoln could feel the familiar urges rising within him. The need.

Breaking contact with the brunette, Lincoln slid his hands up her makeshift skirt and cupped her shapely hip, eliciting a moan of approval from the larger girl. He used his handhold to maneuver himself into position...and stopped.

"Wait," He said, looking Luna in the eyes once more. Only this time—

"Dude! Now!? Seriously?"

—she wasn't quite so accommodating. Which, he couldn't exactly fault her for. He could feel the blood pumping through his own body, urging him on. But a thought had occurred, breaking through the haze that threatened to engulf his consciousness, and it felt like an important enough issue to raise.

"What about Sam?" He asked, trying to remain focused on Luna's face, and not the remainder of her increasingly delctable-looking form. To his relief, that did provoke a reaction from the older girl. But not quite what he was expecting.

"Oh," She said, her response oddly subdued. Then her eyes widened. "OH!"

That second "Oh" had been a little more on point to the kind of reaction he'd been expecting.

"Oooooh", Luna continued, her lips forming a perfect 'O', as her face jerked, a variety of expressions forming for an instant, before immediately moving on to the next one. Eventually, she seemed to settle on pensive.

"I guess...I hadn't really thought about that," She confessed, looking thoughtful. "But...yeah, I guess I'm okay with that."

"Okay with what?" Lincoln asked, confused.

"Just make it...fun, for her," Luna continued, as if he hadn't spoken. "There's this thing she likes me to do where I sneak over to her house and grab her while she's in her room. You know, pretend like I'm kidnapping her, or something. The first time I broke down her window, just put my fist through it—"

She lightly jabbed the air, demonstratively.

"—Like that. She really dug it, I think it added a lot of authenticity to the whole thing. Her parents got really mad afterward though, so now she just leaves it open for me. But yeah, just give her what she needs, and have fun with it."

Lincoln's eyes crossed as he tried to formulate a response to that. "I—"

"But also, you've gotta be really careful when you're undressing her," Luna added, nodding sagely. "Trust me, it's not like playing with those dress-up dolls. You've really got to be aware of where the arm and leg joints are, and whatnot. There's a surprising amount of...logistics, to the whole thing, you know?"

"I...was actually talking about how she's your girlfriend," Said Lincoln, somewhat muted as he struggled to come to grips with the mental imagery Luna's lecture had stricken him with. "It just seems like that'd...complicate things."

"It's fine," Luna replied flippantly, waving one hand dismissively. "Honestly, with the hints she's been dropping, I think you'd be doing her a favor."

"I meant with us! If you and me are gonna...I mean—"

"Dude, it's fine," Luna put one hand on his shoulder and cupped his cheek with the other. "We're gonna figure it out. Trust me."

And he did. Implicitly.

"O...okay", He said, finally letting out the breath he'd been holding.

"Attaboy," She murmured, leaning forward and planting another quick kiss on his lips. Then her expression turned serious, and she very emphatically pointed downward. "Now, if you don't mind...?"

"Gaaah!" Lori shrieked as the ground heaved, nearly sending her flying from her chair. "There! See? There it goes again! You can't tell me that none of you are feeling that?"

And again, she was met by nine blank stares, just as she had the last two times she'd tried to point out the oddly rhythmic earthquake that was clearly happening around them.

"Honey," Began Rita, even as the walls shuddered violently, and another shockwave sent the remnants of their dinner crashing to the ground. "Are you sure you're feeling alright? Maybe you should turn in early tonight."

The sympathetic nods she received were infuriating, almost to the point of outweighing the terror that was firmly gripping her. And then, she noticed that Lynn, of all people, wasn't nodding along.

"Actually," She spoke up, her face scrunched up in concentration. "Now that Lori's pointing it out, it does kinda feel like—"

And suddenly, Lisa was at her side.

"Lynn?" The scientist asked, proffering a small spray bottle to the athlete. "I need an opinion. What does this smell like?"

Not waiting for a response, the younger girl gave the elder a quick spritz in the face. For an instant, Lynn's eyes widened, as if in shock, but then she relaxed, slumping forward with a small, content smile on her face.

"S-sorry," Lynn muttered, suddenly sounding a lot more amicable. "What was I talking about?"

"You were regaling us with your favorite sports team's latest triumph and/or failure" Lisa replied, tightening the top of the bottle before sliding it back into her pocket.

"Oh yeah. That was awesome! And/or awful!"

"Lisa!" Lori hissed, the whole exchange having failed to escape her notice. "Literally what the—!"

"Not here," The younger girl interjected, holding up one hand as she glanced around the room, taking in the rest of their strangely placid family. Once it seemed she was satisfied, she walked over to where Lori was sitting and motioned for the older girl to rise.

"Come on," She said. "We'll talk in my lab."
