Marcus Flint was angry about a lot of things. Quidditch provided a great outlet for venting his frustrations.
Pissed off at the rampant anti-Slytherin bias in Hogwarts? Go knock someone off their broom.
Upset that his father is locked up in prison? Sabotage or curse the opposing team the night before their game.
Annoyed at his team's own Seeker? Grab a beater bat and harass him into performing better.
Failing classes? Fly till his head's clear and his body's exhausted.
