A.N. — Gryffindor faced Slytherin in a quidditch match today in Harry's fifth year. I am running out of pertinent house players to use; I'm sure some of you are happy to hear that. You'll also hopefully be eager to hear I need ideas for November 10.
311. Adrian Pucey
Adrian Pucey felt his credentials as a candidate to captain Slytherin's qudditch team were far more stout than Marcus Flint's. But, as a chaser, Adrian himself wasn't stout in constitution, and that seemed to be valued more than Adrian's sense of fair play.
He understood seniority was often rewarded, so answering to Flint's barked instructions during games was grudgingly borne by Adrian. But in Adrian's final year, seeing Graham Montague placed in charge mostly because of his size almost made him quit.
Adrian mentally congratulated the Weasley twins when, later that year, they shoved "his" captain into a vanishing cabinet.
