Dante goes to Vi Du Marli and catches a throat infection going round. He meets Lucia who is totally ineffectual and Matier who serves no purpose. Lucia collects some plot devices to keep them away from Arius, while Dante kicks nondescript ass. Arius kicks Lucia's ass, then Dante kicks Arius' ass and saves her. Dante goes after Arius while Lucia gets a pep talk from Matier, but remains totally ineffectual. Dante successfully sabotages Arius' ritual but the portal opens anyway, so he kicks Arius' ass, then goes to the Demon World and kicks ass, while Lucia kicks Arius' ass, twice.
