A.N. — Today's the first task of the Triwizard Tournament, so up steps a champion. Her sister was one of my first chapters; her unnamed father follows along tomorrow because I'm seemingly fixated on finding untagged characters to write for.
328. Fleur Delacour
Fleur had been judged superficially all her life. She spent much of her time fighting those preconceptions.
After Beauxbatons, she took a desk job at Gringotts. The goblins cared only for her usefulness, not her looks or heritage. Despite being underground, working at the bank was a breath of fresh air for Fleur.
It was there she really met Bill Weasley. She'd also chosen Gringotts to help the Order of the Phoenix, but she hadn't planned on finding her future husband in the endeavour. Bill was a hunk before the werewolf mauling; Fleur fell deeper in love with him after.
