A.N. — This is an unusual death date drabble. He's only on page 127 of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and used to not be in the site's tags, but I got him and the following folks added as of yesterday. Monsieur Delacour, Apolline Delacour, Bozo, and Doris Crockford I already wrote. Anthony Rickett and Herbert Fleet I mentioned but ran out of room for. Hippocrates Smethwyck is upcoming. The last name I suggested didn't get added, but I will still close the collection out with it. Apolgies for the long note.
331. Demetrius (D.J.) Prod
Magic was wonderful; it could fix many problems. Marital strife wasn't among them.
Demetrius Prod was a middling warlock at best. The Kwikspell correspondence course he took was only serving one of its two purposes: his wandwork was marginally improving, but his wife Elsie remained unimpressed with him.
Kwikspell was supposed to teach Charms, but D.J. was sure it was a rogue transfiguration that turned his wife into a yak. At least, that's what he'd tell her when she changed back.
Really, it was no surprise the Daily Prophet eventually ran an obituary for Prod which stated he died "noisily."
