A.N. — Happy birthday, Bill Weasley. Your drabble was so long ago that I wasn't even highlighting birthdays or canon events in my outline yet. Today, though, I tackle another proud wizarding family in place of the Weasleys.

333. Fleamont Potter

Bearing his grandmother's maiden name as his own first name was doing Fleamont Potter no favors. But such was the Potter honor: he wouldn't utter a disparaging word about it to anyone.

It wasn't just to avoid scandal for his relatives that Fleamont kept his silence. He genuinely liked his family, quirks aside. The wealth was nice, but knowing he was safe and loved in his own home was something invaluable. The trait of uncontrollable hair, though, he could live without.

Inventing Sleekeazy's Hair Potion solved Fleamont's coiffure, added to the Potter coffers and finally made his name feel estimable.
