It was a normal day. Kayla and I were at the park talking about high school when I brought up anime, " Hey Kayla, have you heard of Fruit's Basket?"
"No, what's that."
"Well remember that Inuyasha I loaned you?"
"Yeah."
"Well it's an anime like that only with hotter guys."
"Arianna, how can you think a cartoon is hot!"
"Some are."
"You're weird."
"I'll prove it! I'll get some pictures off of Photobucket."
"Fine."
I went home to get the pictures and was surprised to see Emily and Lane there.
Kayla: Hi Lane and ummm…..
Emily: Emily.
Kayla: Well hi.
Arianna: Hi you guys, I'm trying to prove cartoons can be hot. Can you help?
Lane: Sango's hot.
Emily: Shoshoneru is hot.
Kayla: Who and who?
Arianna: Kayla you need to read some anime.
Kayla: Look, I'm not a bookworm like you.
Arianna: Whatever. Hey you guys lets go look at Photobucket.
We all went upstairs to get on the Internet. Lane took over and typed into the search engine, "How can I meet Sango."
Arianna: Lane, what are you doing?"
Lane: Just searching.
Emily: Come on Lane. Go to Photobucket!
Lane: No!
Kayla; What's that? (pointing to the screen where it said something about bringing animes to life.)
Emily: I don't know.
Arianna: Lane, click on it.
Lane: OK.
All of a sudden we are at a website called It read on the first page Have You Ever Wanted To Meet Your Favorite Anime Characters? Well Here Is Your Chance! Simply grab you anime books and say your favorite character's name out loud adding Come, Came, Coom at the end and boom you'll have them right with you!
We all looked at each other.
Arianna: Let's try it!
Emily: What do we have to lose?
Lane: OK.
Kayla: You guys are all crazy! This is a scam!
Arianna: What would they be making off of it?
Kayla: I don't know!
Arianna looked at Kayla with an "exactly" look in her eyes.
Kayla: (defeated) Fine let's do it.
Arianna: Yeah! Emily can we use your anime?
Emily: Why mine? They'll get ruined and besides, all I have with me are Inuyasha and Fruit Basket.
Arianna: Then we'll use those!
Emily: (exasperated) Fine.
Emily got out her animes and we made a list of characters we wanted to meet. Kayla had nothing to do since she didn't know any of the characters. When we were ready we all placed our hands on the list and said " Come, Came, Coom." All of a sudden the list and anime books lit up like a light bulb.
