A.N. — I just had to pair yesterday and today's names. Really, how common is Millicent B. as a name outside of Harry Potter? Also, I'm quoting "canon" here, as the opening line's from Pottermore.

345. Millicent Bagnold

"I assert our inalienable right to party."

With that declaration, Millicent Bagnold cemented her status as the most popular Minister for Magic in the last century. Voldemort was no more, and all the atrocities wrought by his Death Eaters during Millicent's first year in office were but a memory. With the roundup of the remaining holdouts, the Bagnold administration would be known as a halcyon period in British magical society.

Closer scrutiny at how, exactly, all this would be accomplished could come later. Only then would Millicent fret over the nitty-gritty of the matter. Now was a time for jubilation.
