348. Albert Runcorn
Runcorn was ambivalent about most of the Dark Lord's agenda. Still, being on Voldemort's side did have one great perk: the intimidation factor.
Albert was already a physically imposing figure. Having a sinister reputation made him among the Ministry's most feared. His actual job, though high-ranking, didn't have clout until he seized the position.
Runcorn wearied of scouring muggle family trees for evidence, but it was worth it to see them quail under his glare. Seeing their spirits break and hopes fade, knowing he was on top and there was nothing they could do about it — that made Albert's day.
