A.N. — Today's star is placed on this date due to using a common Christmas trope to snatch a kiss at the last DA meeting of the term. I'd rather explore other aspects of one of the most mentioned female students at Hogwarts.

352. Cho Chang

First love often ends in heartbreak. For Cho Chang, mourning a dead beau, her anguish transcended that.

Her memories of Cedric would always be held dear... someday. Right now, everything that reminded Cho of him brought her to tears. Each happy moment they'd shared was now shrouded in a pall of bitter reminiscence.

Harry Potter seemed the logical choice to fit into all the new, raw, empty spaces Cho had. He'd brought Cedric back, and was considered first-rate boyfriend material. But Harry, too, was broken like she was. There was no healing to be found for Cho in Harry's embrace.
