A.N. — This guy thought it appropriate to bring a vampire along to Slughorn's Christmas party, which happened today. The writer ended up coming across as more of a bloodsucker than his undead guest, which I am embellishing as his part to play in canon was so small.

354. Eldred Worple

There were numerous books on Harry Potter's life. Harry himself saw no royalties from them. So, when accosted at Slughorn's party by a writer wanting to pen his biography, Harry shut the man down.

Eldred Worple didn't know what hit him. Potter should've been salivating at the opportunity to finally tell his story undistorted. And what kid turned down that kind of money? Harry Potter, apparently. Eldred was flummoxed as Potter compared him unfavorably to Rita Skeeter and quickly made his leave.

Well, unauthorized biographies were a thing, too, Eldred supposed. He still felt like siccing Sanguini on Potter, though.
