This is a songfic for my sister. Enjoy.

Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand
And I come here to talk
I hope you understand

Robin sat in his room, looking out the window. He was thinking about all the times that they have spent together. She's always there for me, no matter what…I trust her with my life. He saw the moon at the end of his window, and he thought of ways to tell her how he felt.

That green eyes
Yeah the spotlight shines upon you
And how could anybody deny you
I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter
Now I met you
And honey you should know
That I could never go on without you
Green eyes

Whenever he closed his eyes, he saw her face. He could find her in a crowd; she was that special. Some people thought she was weird and annoying, but he believed she was unique, and that is why he loved her so much. Ever since she arrived, all the fears that he had seemed to melt away. She was his pillar of strength.

Honey you are the sea
Upon which I float
And I came here to talk
I think you should know

Every time their eyes met, he felt his heart melting. He noticed no one else when he saw her. Everyday he tries to be brave… brave enough to tell her how he feels. It's not as easy as it looks.

That green eyes
You're the one that I wanted to find
And anyone who tried to deny you
Must be out of their mind

He tries to find a time to tell her how his heart feels every time she is near; his heart races as he tries to find the right words. We are meant to be, Star. No, that doesn't sound good enough. Hey! Guess what I found out Star! No, too excited… What is a guy to do?

Because I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter
Since I met you
And honey you should know
That I could never go on without you
Green eyes
Green eyes
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh

He looked down at his hands, sighing. I'm not good at this stuff. I'm not poetic, I can't sing or write poetry, I can't do anything! How am I supposed to tell her! How am I supposed to show her what's inside of my heart! Why is this so difficult? A single tear came down his face as he looked up to the moon. Why is this simple thing so difficult? Her face invaded his mind.

Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand

He gets up and walks over to the door of her room. He wipes his face and knocks on the door. With each knock his heart beats faster. She's probably not there. He turned to walk away, when he heard her voice. He turned around, and smiled at her. "Star," he stammered, "I've been meaning to tell you something." He looked into her eyes. She blushed and smiled at him, nodding. "I know," she said, "I've been sitting here trying to figure out what to say too." He smiled and removed the thing black strip from his eyes. Blue met green. "I love you, Star." "And I love you, Robin." Hands entwined. Lips met.

Robin and Starfire both realized that it doesn't matter whether you say something poetic, or sing a song. The only thing that matters are those three words.
