The Ending (Extra cheesy)
My name is Tobias. It's finally over. The battle to save humanity. For at least a year, I have been fighting alien parasites. Yeerks. Slug-like creatures that enter into your head through the ear canal and spread themselves over the brain. Jake, Cassie, Rachel, Marco, Ax, and I fought them. But this is my story.
In the beginning, we were normal people. We went to school, we had friends, crushes, and we had families. Well, I wouldn't say I had a family. I had an aunt and an uncle who had to take care of me.
But all that changed when we went through the construction sight. It was there we met the andalite, Elfangor. He told us about the Yeerks, how the were taking over earth. He gave us the power, the curse, to morph. That's when every thing changed.
Now all of it's over. I'm stuck as hawk, Jake's brother is dead, and so is Rachel. But it's over. I've always wished we could go back in time. Take another rout home. Never meet the andalite. But that will never happen. But something did happen. This is the story.
I flew low over the orange and yellow trees, looking for any sign of a meal. I landed on a branch. Then I saw the grass twitch. That was a sign. I swooped down and grabbed the squeaking figure. I landed back on the branch. I opened my beak, about to take a bite.
"Tobias!" I looked around, but no one was there. I was about to take a bite again when "TOBIAS!" I looked down. The mouse had stopped squeaking and was looking strait at me. I dropped in shock. I landed on the ground, stood up and started changing. I wasn't a morph. It was more like an illusion.
Elemist? I squinted my eyes. I don't know why.
"THE Elemist. Yes. I have come to say thank you for getting rid of the Yeerks. I wanted to give you…uh…what you want most. Now tell me what you want.
What did I want? Every thing to back how they were, or better…and Rachel, of course. But could he do that? Was he really that powerful? Could you make everything the way they were, or better?
The Elemist grinned. "Yes, but is that what you want?"
Yeah, it is.
"Alright." And everything went dark.
I opened my eyes. I was on the ground, still in the forest. I looked around. My eyesight wasn't that good. Like a humans. I slowly looked at my wing. My heart missed a beat. It wasn't a wing. It was a hand. A human Hand. I looked at my body. I was human. I tried to morph. I could still morph. That meant I hadn't gone back in time. What had happened? I stood up and walked out of the forest.
I stopped. Rachel was standing right there. She smiled.
"The Elemist came and told me some one wants me back."
I slowly walked to her, dazed. She leaned forward Eyes sparkling.
Then, She kissed me.
